"Boss, the surrounding environnt is all desert; there are no suitable hiding areas."

"...Then keep moving forward, I can hold on." Zheng Yichen rubbed his forehead; the headache hadn’t dissipated with ti but had beco even more severe. So of his blood had been drawn away, reducing the amount of hallucinogens in his body, and as a result, the influence of the hallucinations had decreased once again.

The visions he saw beca elusive, the wounds on his arm filled with teeth alternating between teeth and normality. The chaotic whispers in his ears also gradually decreased, and Lilith’s ’sharp’ voice slowly returned to normal.

The ntal pressure also eased, allowing Zheng Yichen to breathe a long sigh of relief. He picked up the water bottle and shook it, listening to the sound of the water and looking at the tiny ’filants’ wriggling inside, he gulped down all the water in one go and threw away the bottle in his hand.

Mador, the slightly lowered ntal pressure began to rise again!

"Has it gotten darker around here?" After easing his thirst, Zheng Yichen rubbed his eyes and asked.

"Boss, it’s getting dark."

"Oh..." Zheng Yichen looked up at the sky, no longer seeing the two big eyeballs that had been ’staring’ at him from above.

Having left the desert area, Zheng Yichen, whose eyes had nearly bled from the strain, exhaled and relaxed his spirits for a mont. The almost suppressed hallucinations reappeared, and he slapped his own face and said, "Now is hunting ti—"

He set out to find so of the easier-to-bully wild beasts, but when he truly began his search, he encountered several problems. Those ’wild beasts’ had all beco enhanced versions, and he couldn’t even see any small animals anymore.

The world had beco chaotic, and even at night, it didn’t calm down the animals maddened by mutation. So animals beca even more frenzied due to the mutation and the lack of ’sunlight’ exposure.

Zheng Yichen had set up traps in advance. Without needing to attract those crazed aberrant animals, they charged toward the traps on their own then fell in stiffly, allowing Zheng Yichen to quickly finish them off with his knife. Although he was very weak, after enough ti to recover, both his physical strength and Inner Strength had sowhat returned.

As long as he didn’t go looking for powerful alien beasts like Blazing Sun Tigers, dealing with ordinary aberrant creatures was still manageable.

"It just feels... a bit downcast to be setting traps in such a world." After yet another mont of rubbing his head, Zheng Yichen used the black spear in his hand to kill the aberrant creatures that had fallen into the traps, feeling his body rejuvenated like the parched earth after a downpour.

"It’s still not enough, I need more—"

He rubbed his forehead again. His body had recovered, and the ntal madness seed to have been fueled anew, becoming agitated. He had truly not expected such a big difference between active Demonization and the passive Demonization after using Demonic Abyss Seven Kills; the latter was just a temporary insanity, with no problems afterward.

Active Demonization had turned into chronic ntal illness. It had already been more than half a day, and the residual effects still impacted his ntal state.

After Zheng Yichen had found more victimized aberrant animals, dawn was breaking. The nights in this world were very brief, and as the sky’s first sun erged, Zheng Yichen yawned wearily, the last traces of hallucination fading from his eyes.

A nearby projection screen that provided diagnostic information also indicated that his blood had returned to normal levels, free from the powerful effects of the hallucinogen.

His physical injuries had also healed. Once free from the impact of hallucinations, delusions of hearing, and strange tastes and slls, he felt capable again, especially as the strong sense of unease that had been accompanying him disappeared with the recovery of his strength.

He had been worried about accidentally encountering an enemy, but it seed like the enemies weren’t too clear on his state at that ti and hadn’t gone out of their way to trouble him extensively. If soone really had troubled him, he wouldn’t have been completely unable to respond, but it would certainly have been uncomfortable.

And the way to cope? Well... run, of course. In terms of combat, he could fight by embracing madness once more, and the cat spirit cloak he carried could also play its role effectively. In the previous world, the cat spirit cloak had accumulated a great deal of power; with just a small amount of spiritual energy supplied by Zheng Yichen, it could unleash extrely high combat ability.

Not to ntion dealing with very tough enemies, but at least capable of handling most troubleso opponents and buying him so ti.

"I’ve beco white-haired again." Zheng Yichen looked at himself in another projection screen and sighed in dismay. Although he hadn’t fully returned to normal in appearance, his hair had turned white—the complications of forcibly releasing a large amount of Hellfire in such a dire environnt...

Using so power in a low-level environnt wasn’t impossible; after all, he managed to unleash Hellfire by consuming Life Force. Even though that Hellfire was greatly diminished, he ultimately managed to use that power.

Now was the ti to pay debts, Zheng Yichen stared at the projection screen serving as a mirror, carefully examining it, yet he did not notice any signs of his hair roots turning black, "First, find a suitable place to sleep."

The desert region was flat land with no place to hide; although it was hard to find inhabited areas outside the desert region, locating a cave or sothing similar was quite easy.

He dealt with the aberrant creatures he encountered along the way; leaving mad animals only brought about more chaos.

The further he went, the heavier Zheng Yichen’s heart beca. The Boundary Breaking Faction had truly done evil, spawning a host of problems that, even though their ultimate sches were thwarted, left great harm and lingering effects on the affected worlds.

Among the animals he ca across, ninety-eight out of a hundred were insane, with only a few showing no severe mutations. The rest were severely mutated, unrecognizable from their original appearance, and so animals’ luminescence had even been tainted into Black Light.

...

"This kind of fla..." In the center of the desert, a local world’s investigation team examined the flas that hadn’t yet gone out. They had arrived here early, but those in charge of sealing the area lacked the capability to deal with the lingering pale green flas.

And with the passage of ti, the flas seed to grow stronger.

The investigation team released a strip of light to touch the flas, which spread along the strip, prompting them to imdiately dissolve the light strip in hand. Without an anchor, the Hellfire fell to the ground, "Even the sand is ignited; if it’s not dealt with, this desert will beco a sea of fire."

In one day, the spread of these flas had covered a substantial area.

The investigation team tried many thods to halt the spread of the flas, but whether it was various seals or other ans, they were quickly overco when faced with a broader range of Hellfire, while strategies that involved separation and containnt were too inefficient.

With their strength and manpower, they were simply unable to cope with the Hellfire.

"We can only wait for those senior veterans now..." Helpless, the investigation team couldn’t co up with new strategies. They realized that the powers they wielded seed rather singular against these flas.

Previously, all they could do was create a containnt circle to the best of their ability. Although they couldn’t stop the spread of the flas, they could physically re-converge the spread fire by sending back the anchors it fed on. After their continued efforts, the range of the Hellfire began to diminish. However, the concentrated accumulation of energy made the flas react even more intensely.

It was only after those veteran Three Glory powerful experts arrived that the flas were truly contained. They could extinguish these flas but chose to preserve them instead. The veteran Three Glory experts had a longer view; this ti, they encountered a sage who resolved the moving anomaly, restoring normalcy to the world.

But many of the aftermath problems had not been truly resolved, such as Black Light, a force that targeted them specifically. As the real invaders fled, they not only spread a vast amount of Black Light but also persuaded many powerful natives of this world.

This brought significant lingering damage to their world; so veteran Three Glory experts were attacked in the past two days. So succeeded in repelling the enemy, while others died or were severely wounded due to the betrayal of their world’s compatriots.

The spread of Black Light had beco unstoppable. The counterasure devised by the veteran Three Glory experts was to adapt to this force, transforming it into a power they could utilize. The special powers within their world needed to beco more diverse.

Gone were the days of sticking exclusively to the Light type route—being targeted with such a force dealt them a painful blow. Unable to eliminate Black Light, they had no choice but to adapt, even if this path was destined to result in many sacrifices.

And this pale green fla was also a new force, extrely dangerous; even approaching humans could feel an uncomfortable burning of their Life Force... but it was a new power!

As for other aspects, they would solve them step by step. The order of society needed to be restored; the animals driven mad by mutation had to be cleared gradually. Those not severely affected needed attempts for rehabilitation, and for humans, the situation was even more serious. Nine out of ten cities were a ss, and the remaining one was only relatively orderly.

If the ’distortion point of the world’ had disappeared a bit later, it would have taken the natives a decade or even longer to restore order.

Although so people were mad, the majority were still relatively sane. They would try to save the mad ones if possible.
