The next day, Zheng Yichen yawned and sat up from bed, gently pulling at his hair that had been pinned down by the girl next to him. This was his first experience of having his hair pressed down while sleeping.

"Did I press down on your hair?" Katrina opened her eyes and turned over slightly, her gaze sizing up Zheng Yichen with a smile in her eyes, finding the younger-looking Zheng Yichen an interesting sight to behold...

"I’ll cut it later." Zheng Yichen looked at the large handful of hair in his hand and tossed it back over his shoulder. Overnight, his hair had grown a few centiters, just like weeds.

"That would be a pity." Katrina propped up Zheng Yichen’s hair with one hand, admiring its excellent quality: "Growing long hair is not easy."

"But it cos too easily for ."

Even if he cut it now, it would grow back in a week or two.

"Then let’s just keep it for now, and cut it after Eileena figures it out." Katrina kissed Zheng Yichen gently on the face, "I’ll go cook."

Zheng Yichen looked at the text ssage on his phone, which was sent by the wealthy lady Ahn Qi. The gist of it was that since he had returned, they should et to sort out his gains as she had ample resources to help Zheng Yichen assimilate those gains.

After breakfast, Zheng Yichen left the house with a suitcase in tow, choosing not to ride his bike this ti to avoid being stopped by the traffic police again.

In the underground workshop of his house, Eileena was pinching a strand of hair, surrounded by jars and flasks that scread ’witch-style’,

containing the eyeballs, hearts, and even claws of so creatures.

"This hair, like the ’serpent’s exuvia’, contains a cyclic power, but there is also a special power in it that seems to co from a Supre Demon, it’s just too weak," Eileena said to Katrina, who, being the ’Old Witch’, had always been more experienced than Katrina.

She usually led the research and learning activities.

"This hair can also be used to make amulets." The legend of using hair to make amulets existed in her world too, but besides amulets, there were other uses: "It’s more suitable to make curse artifacts..."

The unique power contained in the hair was weak, but it was a real power. Combined with the iterative power similar to that of a serpent’s exuvia, once a curse artifact was created and the curse was successful, unless the cursed individual found a way to destroy the artifact, it would be difficult to lift the curse otherwise.

Even if the curse was lifted, because of the cycle power contained in the artifact it would reappear. Aside from that cycle power, another power in the hair had strong transmissibility; when used in curses, its effects were negligible on unrelated individuals, but for beings of the sa bloodline, that transmissibility was much stronger.

She had tested it on so of the mice she bred; a weak curse affected an entire litter of blood-related mice.

"That’s downright malicious." Learning that the curse artifact made from this hair could be inherited along bloodlines, Katrina felt it was too dark.

Eileena smiled at her, "Since it can be used to make curse artifacts, naturally it can be turned into blessing artifacts, and blessings should also be transferable, but you’ll have to test that. I didn’t want to disturb you last night."

Katrina’s face reddened slightly, "I’ll start experinting right away."

Zheng Yichen’s hair had such power, but as for any changes in Zheng Yichen himself, the two won did not discuss. They were born in another world, and even if influenced by the modern information of this world, the concepts they grew up with hadn’t changed much.

They were witches, what was wrong with having a man with Supre Demon power around them? Not to ntion anything else, just the status of ’Demigod’ would have many forces vying for allegiance in their world, even the church would do so.

Especially since they couldn’t beat him.

Besides, with those changes, Zheng Yichen remained the sa as before after coming back. Wasn’t his hair still pressed down by her when they slept?

Elsewhere, Zheng Yichen, pulling his suitcase, looked at the convertible sports car parked in front of him. The driver Ahn Qi took off her sunglasses to have a good look at Zheng Yichen: "You really are... get in the car first."

Only a month had passed since they last saw each other, but the sturdy youth had now turned into a young boy. The contrast was stark; Ahn Qi hadn’t felt anything over the phone yesterday, but now seeing Zheng Yichen in person, she finally understood what he ant by ’getting a little younger’ from yesterday’s conversation.

"You’re not going to take straight to so laboratory to dissect , are you?" After placing the suitcase in the back seat, Zheng Yichen, sitting in the passenger seat, joked.

Putting her sunglasses back on, Ahn Qi glanced at Zheng Yichen, "Let emphasize again, blood tests and normal cell research didn’t yield any results, so there’s even less need for a biopsy."

Slicing is just a thod to better understand the internal structure of the research subject, but it doesn’t help much with many studies. It’s not necessary to slice to obtain cells from internal organs; there are technologies for that, and drawing blood is even simpler. None of these can yield any significant information.

It’s as if they think slicing will reveal sothing useful. For rare cases where slicing is proposed, the one who suggests it must be thoroughly investigated. They are either an insider who snuck in through the back door or a spy sent by competitors.

"Besides, it’s not as if technologies for becoming younger don’t exist; your transformation is just very rare." Eileena had seen many special cases, so after her initial surprise at seeing Zheng Yichen, she regained her normal composure. Now, probably what caught her attention the most about Zheng Yichen was his enviable hair quality.

Instead of taking Zheng Yichen to a research institute, Eileena went straight to her ho.

"You’ve been away for a month this ti. What kind of world did you encounter?" Eileena grabbed two canned drinks, tossed one to Zheng Yichen, and he glanced at the brand— it was produced by the Ahn family.

"An Apocalypse Martial Arts World."

"Apocalypse... Martial Arts?" Eileena found this combination sowhat intriguing: "Do you an the kind from ancient tis?"

She understood the term "martial arts" well enough. The more worlds she encountered, so had magic, others had Immortality Cultivation, and there were those where martial arts were particularly diverse and popular. Many of these, whether nad martial arts or so other body enhancent techniques, were well-received.

Because they involve the developnt of physical skills, they are less dependent on Environntal Adjustnt than technological weapons. If soone masters powerful martial arts or combat techniques, even in worlds that can suppress human physiques to the limit of an ordinary person, they can still execute those skills relying heavily on the body.

With the sa physical condition, mastering those skills and excelling in them can indeed enable one to fight ten opponents.

However, martial arts worlds are generally ancient, so how could there be an "apocalypse" in such a world?

"Was that world struck by a teorite?" Eileena considered a possibility. As for sothing like a biochemical virus, given the transportation limitations of ancient tis, spreading it wouldn’t be easy. Airborne transmission? How much virus would it take to affect the entire world?

The likelihood of an apocalypse caused by a teor strike in that world was relatively higher.

Apocalypses generally appear in worlds with advanced technology, many related to nuclear wars.

"The entire world was affected by a Demon Flower, turning most people into monsters."

"Demon Flower?" Eileena felt that the world Zheng Yichen visited was not any ordinary martial arts world— what martial arts world would have such a thing?

"There were Supre Demons too." Zheng Yichen placed a mobile phone in front of Eileena, showing a video. The mountain-sized Demon Flower caused her to twitch slightly in the corner of her eye, "Is this really a martial arts world?"

"At least the Supre Demons in that world also used martial arts, though they had spells in addition to martial arts."

"Alright then..." Eileena operated the phone, looking at the recorded videos. She promptly took it, as this phone had no SIM card and was used to store and record videos, "What other gains did you make? You’ve ntioned Supre Demons— did you encounter such beings?"

The existence of deities had always been a major focus, and the Ahn family had related research projects. They wanted to thoroughly understand so of the powers related to gods. The fire dragon from another world had provided information about gods; there were deities in the fire dragon’s world too.

"I did encounter them, but there was infighting among the Supre Demons, and many probably died. Don’t look at — I had no chance to pick anything up." When many Supre Demons were dying, he was setting fires, and the scenes of Supre Demons fighting were thoroughly looted.

One couldn’t ask for more than that.

"It’s good to have other gains too," Eileena said, sounding a bit disappointed. If Zheng Yichen had obtained sothing related to the Supre Demons, the Ahn family, even at an extra cost, would have tried to buy it from him.

An apocalypse martial arts world— many of the items Eileena had prepared for Zheng Yichen were of no use there. Even in urban worlds with special abilities, as long as the technology level was not high, Zheng Yichen could easily hack into most places through the network with those devices.

Zheng Yichen opened the luggage he had brought, looking at the contents, and Eileena slightly raised an eyebrow, "Your gains this ti seem pretty impressive."

From the things he brought back from another world, he would certainly keep the best for himself, which Eileena knew all too well. But aside from those, the items he brought seed quite extraordinary.

There were many dicinal herbs and so tals in the suitcase. More importantly, there were books and recorders.

She picked up a book and browsed through it. There were ones on Alchemy and Artifact Refining. The types of books were pretty diverse, but the knowledge recorded within them had great research value.
