"Damn, what the hell...?"

Looking at what was fished out, Zheng Yichen gave it a kick, sending the roaring ’Undead’ flying seven or eight ters away—the environntal level in this world is quite high, but not ridiculously so.

The Undead that was sent flying had twisted bone armor on its body, the armor ford from human bones, and on it, one could see hand bones and skulls that hadn’t completely decomposed, among others. The weapon it used was also a bone knife made of flesh and blood.

By the way, this guy was over two ters tall, and its body was not thin at all, but rather appeared very muscular. Of course, what filled its body was a matter of conjecture, and Zheng Yichen had no intention of checking.

Lightning converged above the head of the kicked Undead as it stood up. It was struck squarely by a bolt of lightning that Zheng Yichen released, not the kind found in nature but one that gathered the power of lightning. Still, its power should not be underestimated!

"Awooooo..."

"...Alright then."

Zheng Yichen charged up and, wielding the black spear in his hand, disassembled the strong Undead. This thing was just a sturdy skeleton combined with a bunch of fused flesh and bone.

After killing it, the huge bone knife of flesh and blood was still stuck in the ground, so of the flesh on it still twitching slightly. This thing couldn’t be described as cool; it only managed to give the living the creeps. Zheng Yichen simply burned it with fire, dismissing the equipnt that burst out as unnecessary.

The Undead was fished out by the power attached to the fishing rod; opening a channel to the World of Death in this world was not difficult. He barely felt any consumption when using the power of the fishing rod, easily fishing out such a monster.

No, it should be said that this thing grabbed the fishing line and ran out on its own, probably sniffing the scent of the living.

That the death channel could be opened so easily indicated that the barrier between life and death in this world was not very firm. Judging by what was fished out, the World of Death in this world must be quite interesting.

Rich in species and such.

Not long after Zheng Yichen left, another team arrived. They quickly surveyed the surroundings, "That Proxy Agent fought here, apparently using Fire type attacks, burning off the nearby pollen."

"So Extraordinary creatures were also attracted, but they were easily disposed of. But have you ever seen sothing like this?" A Dusk rcenary inspecting the scene pointed to so charred bone fragnts on the ground.

This thing was not an extraordinary creature mutated from those lifeforms, but rather sothing they hadn’t encountered in this world; this was not a good sign.

Now as Dusk rcenaries with new objectives, they did not want to deal with uncertainties, even though the previous commission had beco void. As long as they took care of so new tasks afterward, leaving this world wouldn’t result in any real loss. On the contrary, they obtained quite a few treasures.

This world had talented craftsn, and before the ’red spider lily’ blood, they had collected many treasures, making a fortune. Yet, these items were just extra gains. What truly mattered were rit points, which allowed them to utilize the collected treasures to enrich themselves and enhance their combat abilities.

rit points enable them to fully assimilate all the gathered resources and turn them into the most suitable weapons, equipnt, and real power for themselves.

It would be difficult for anyone to bear the impact of increased difficulty in obtaining rit points later on.

"No, but this thing looks like so kind of Undead?" Another Dusk rcenary wasn’t squeamish at all, picking up several bones from the ground and piecing them together, "I’ve seen Necromancers in other worlds, they can create Undead from corpses to fight, this looks sowhat similar..."

The scene was too severely damaged, so he couldn’t be entirely sure if it was what he had conjectured.

But it was an extra discovery nonetheless. After quickly compiling the information, they imdiately left the area. Their goal was to find other Alien Phenonon creatures and eliminate them. As for the fact that this world was in such a state, what good would it do to eliminate those creatures?

There were plenty of benefits, for they could complete the tasks and avoid the penalties for previous combat failures. The world, with fewer Alien Phenonon creatures, could take a breather, not collapsing so quickly, and the Proxy Agent would have more ti to deal with that flower.

Of course, so Dusk rcenaries felt they were strong enough to deal directly with the flower themselves, also earning rit points in the process.

That wasn’t counted as a task, but the Dusk Cathedral didn’t only grant rit points for tasks. The larger aning of tasks there was to serve as a signpost, giving Dusk rcenaries clearer choices. If they didn’t want to look at tasks, they could skip that step entirely and just go on a killing spree.

The condition was that while on a killing spree, they knew exactly what targets to eliminate. After completely wiping out those from the Boundary Breaking Faction and Equilibrium Faction, they wouldn’t need to look at tasks anymore and could proceed straight to the settlent phase.

Zheng Yichen, who wore a helt, looked at the dilapidated buildings around him. His eyes contained a tinge of red light, and thermal vision was quite useful in this environnt. It easily allowed him to find those extraordinary creatures that were hiding, along with normal ones.

The extraordinary creatures had higher body temperatures, practically glowing like big red light bulbs in thermal vision. Those preparing for a sneak attack from behind a wall were promptly pierced by a black spear, their bodies rapidly withering away.

This was just a small village he was passing through, where under the influence of the red fog, there were barely any normal people left. Nevertheless, Zheng Yichen still encountered so anomalies. Sothing seed off in a certain area, so he walked toward it, where many extraordinary creatures were lingering.

The number of creatures was enough to create the semblance of a small-scale mobile Alien Phenonon, which was quite vague and basically unable to take form. But it was already having a significant impact on the native inhabitants.

Through thermal vision, he spotted a target with a lower body temperature. Swaths of ghastly green flas ravaged the area, and after dealing with the remaining extraordinary creatures to replenish what was consud by the fire, he arrived at the anomalous point he had seen.

A ramshackle hut contained a girl with a face full of terror, aged between twelve to fourteen. Watching Zheng Yichen approach with his motorcycle helt, the girl who was already frightened inside burst into loud tears.

"Don’t cry, don’t cry!" Zheng Yichen quickly took off his helt, noticing the faint shimr of a light mbrane on the surface of the small hut. The mbrane was already very weak, flickering as he approached, and it would soon completely disappear.

He reached out and gently touched the light mbrane, feeling a strong force of repulsion. The red threads could not penetrate this mbrane, and the extraordinary creatures were kept out as well.

"Wait a mont." Instead of imdiately destroying the mbrane, Zheng Yichen found so items from the following-mode motorcycle before returning. He held a filter mask in his hand.

The power of the light mbrane was weak. Prepared, Zheng Yichen didn’t exert much effort to break it. The surrounding wind dispersed the falling red threads, and the anxious girl looked at Zheng Yichen, saying, "Thank you."

"Who left that layer of light mbrane?" Zheng Yichen gave the girl a smile and put the filter mask on his face. The wind offered protection, but it was better to take precautions.

"It was a pretty sister who was passing by," the girl hurriedly said. "She said she would take to a safe place, but after getting here, she said she had sothing to deal with and would be right back. But she hasn’t returned yet..."

"I see. Then you should co with for now." Since the light mbrane was destroyed, Zheng Yichen didn’t intend to craft any barriers or the like.

He took out paper and pen from the motorcycle and left a note.

The girl, sitting on the motorcycle, curiously touched the vehicle. She had ridden in horse-drawn carriages and even on horseback, but this was her first encounter with an iron vehicle.

"Big brother, you’re just as amazing as that sister, dealing with those monsters so easily," she said.

The girl wasn’t too surprised by the flas Zheng Yichen had used. The sister who had left her there had also released spells that could easily take out a lot of extraordinary creatures, which is how the sister had explained it to her.

What Zheng Yichen used must also be so kind of spell, right? It just looked a little unhealthy in color.

"Hahaha, that was just a small situation," Zheng Yichen laughed. He glanced at the map on his phone, his smile fading slightly, "I have so important business to attend to, and it may scare you."

"I’m not afraid," the girl shook her head. "I don’t have much left to be scared of anyway..."

"You can’t talk like that. Let’s go." Zheng Yichen restarted the motorcycle, this ti without his helt on. He used the wind to encircle them, clearing away the red threads.

The little girl sat on the motorcycle, astonished by the rapidly receding environnt around them. Zheng Yichen’s focus, however, was on the navigation map; his target was that flower. To cut down that thing, he needed to first confirm its general situation, which wasn’t quite enough just from what he’d learned from the Dusk rcenary.

"Big brother... What is that??" The girl’s voice trembled as she stared at a massive silhouette in the distance. The giant mass looked like a mountain of flesh, with nurous creatures fused together, their flesh half-lted, and a dense throng of distorted human faces piled together, emitting aningless hoarse howls.

"Hmm?" Seeing the little girl behind him still awake, Zheng Yichen couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow. Could she be soone in this world who could adapt to Alien Phenona?

"That’s a bigger monster. Wait here for , and don’t run off." Zheng Yichen took out a turquoise gem and placed it on a fixture on the motorcycle. The wind that swirled around the motorcycle continued to remain stable.

Approaching the gigantic creature, Zheng Yichen felt an itch on his scalp. This thing was truly sothing else, disgustingly repulsive.
