"Magic isn’t sothing you can learn just because you want to, first you need to do this and that... Hey! You’re cheating!!" the fire dragon’s eyes widened in disbelief as it looked at the wind orb in Zheng Yichen’s hands, "That’s definitely not magic!"

Magic requires magic power to operate, and magic power is sothing you need a talent for to conjure up. Although the wind orb in Zheng Yichen’s hands did harness the power of the environnt, it didn’t have any fluctuations of magic power. Could this be considered so kind of extraordinary abilities?

"I know, that’s why I want to learn so magic knowledge to give it a try."

"Uh... even so..."

"If you ever run into trouble, I can help you out once."

"Deal!" the fire dragon quickly fished out a tiny cell phone from between its scales, "Add a contact."

Zheng Yichen looked at the fire dragon holding the tiny cell phone sowhat speechlessly, doubting whether the creature could see the characters on the screen clearly. Perhaps annoyed by Zheng Yichen’s doubtful gaze, the fire dragon howled, "Are you looking down on dragons? I can see even a speck of dust crystal clear!"

"Then you’re really amazing." Zheng Yichen added the fire dragon’s cell phone number.

Then the fire dragon climbed down and began to share so magic knowledge in a relaxed posture, while Zheng Yichen took notes rapidly on a laptop.

Elsewhere, Ahn Longling and Ahn Qi watched the scene on the monitor without saying anything. The fire dragon was subdued by Zheng Yichen, so Ahn Qi had nothing to say about what Zheng Yichen did. It was just so magic knowledge, and the Ahn family had had that sort of thing for a long ti.

The importance of this knowledge wasn’t low, but what really mattered was where it was used. In the current world, even if the fire dragon explained the thod of casting forbidden spells in detail to Zheng Yichen, it wouldn’t be of much use in this world. Even if he managed to release it forcibly, the power wouldn’t be great.

It wouldn’t be more powerful than a nuclear bomb or a small-yield nuclear bomb, anyway.

At best, he could release so so-called interdiate and low-level magic, but that kind of magic couldn’t withstand airplanes and cannons. The limitations of the world’s environnt were there.

Zheng Yichen establishing a friendship with this dragon wasn’t a bad thing.

Ahn Longling had even less to say, now that the dragon was on Ahn Qi’s side; it had nothing to do with her. The key was Zheng Yichen himself.

"I’ll go contact Second Brother," Ahn Longling told Ahn Qi.

"... Thank you, Sister."

Zheng Yichen got so blood from the fire dragon, along with other magic knowledge. It had to be said that the fire dragon knew quite a lot, not only about its most proficient Fire type magic but also had considerable understanding of alchemy arts and magic dicinal arts, among others.

The fire dragon took it for granted and even exhibited a high sense of superiority; its implication was that by living a long ti, even if you just sleep every day and study for one minute, you’d learn a lot - an advantage that those quail-like humans who could only live for a few decades would envy.

By the way, the fire dragon was over a thousand years old, and at that age in the Dragon Tribe, it was equivalent to a human between twenty and twenty-four years old, and dragons could maintain that age stage for more than two thousand years. A normal dragon could easily live for about five thousand years.

Of course, not many dragons lived that long; dragons were strong, but the chance of being killed was definitely not zero. The longer you live, the more likely it is that you will face various causes of death.

In those thousand-plus years, the fire dragon had spent about five hundred years sleeping, a hundred years lazily learning magic, and ten years indirectly acquiring knowledge on alchemy and magic dicinal arts. These weren’t continuous but accumulated slowly over the ti not spent sleeping.

Dragons have a great mory; the fire dragon could clearly tally up the ti it spent doing things besides studying. What did it do in its spare ti? Eating, collecting treasures, playing.

The fire dragon indicated that the ti it spent eating exceeded the ti it spent learning, and it seed quite proud when ntioning this.

Mador... Is this the daily life of an immortal? It’s too enviable.

As Zheng Yichen left the base, he rubbed his hands together and pulled out a very portable remote control, which was for the motorcycle that could serve as a combat vehicle, a super rugged model. Still, Zheng Yichen planned to make an even sturdier case for it to prevent any accidental damage.

One-button summon, and soon the sound of the motorcycle ca. Zheng Yichen rode on it and by the ti he returned to Hazy City, it was already night.

He had accomplished quite a bit today, the most important being the knowledge he acquired from the fire dragon. The magic knowledge was good, but the key was the related knowledge of Alchemy and magic dicinal arts.

The fire dragon ntioned that it had learned those on its spare ti, which would be considered at an interdiate level among the human race. It had no interest in delving seriously into those areas; the dragon’s belief was simple - with ti, accumulation sufficed. A thousand years at an interdiate level, then after another thousand years, casually learning would make one advanced.

And among the human race, existences like high-level alchemists might have faded away within three to five hundred years of this millennium.

"This knowledge is really abundant!" Eileena exclaid as she looked at the knowledge on the computer.

Zheng Yichen didn’t speak. The content inside was what he had spent over three hours typing out. During that ti, the dragon even stopped bothering about it twice, but looking at Zheng Yichen’s fist, it shafully submitted.

"Can you learn this?"

"... It’s quite different from the power system we handle. Most of these magics are Elents magic, we can try." Eileena said. Being a witch in a weak environnt ant that there was a low possibility of using Elents magic. Most of them were of the supportive type.

Necromancy, Voodoo Doll Curse, and so on, even creating a simple Fireball was hard, but now with the solid knowledge of Elents magic in hand, including the relevant usage thods and detailed operational explanations, all they had to do was try to master it step by step, provided they had Mana...

This wasn’t a big problem; as witches capable of using so magic in a low-magic environnt, they were indeed gifted. Half an hour later, Eileena looked at the bit of black gleam in her hands. Describing the black light was difficult, but it was indeed a kind of ’light.’

Within Light type magic, there was magic to light lamps for illumination, and in the Darkness type, there was corresponding magic to extinguish lights. The fire dragon’s mastery of magic was primarily Fire type but could also handle other attributes of magic. These were, however, rely a rudintary understanding, and even Water type magic was usable by it. The key to casting magic was Mana.

The individual’s attribute only influenced the power and consumption of the used magic. Fire dragons could use Water type magic, but the power would be greatly reduced, and it was more prone to failure. Nonetheless, the fire dragon still learned a bit, not for combat but for daily needs. Even as a fire dragon, it could get thirsty.

In its world, ice dragons likewise had the desire to eat sothing warm when out in the wild. From this perspective, it seed the magical power developnt in the fire dragon’s world wasn’t weak.

Eileena had the best affinity with Darkness type magic, while Katrina’s strengths were Light and Water types. Zheng Yichen could light a cigarette, but he didn’t smoke.

"You guys go ahead and study this." Zheng Yichen told them. During the test, he had already found out that the relationship between the extraordinary abilities system and the magic system wasn’t that significant.

He could move the Elents power in the environnt, but the way of doing so wasn’t based on Mana. The reason he picked up Fire type magic more quickly was likely due to the feedback effect from absorbing the blood of a fire dragon. The others?

There were no others, and gaining control over the wind, earth, and lightning Elents from Oma didn’t grant him any extra magical talent.

Oma didn’t seem to belong to the Mage category.

Short-term, magic wouldn’t provide any significant improvent to him. He still followed a cycle of fighting to enhance his abilities, which extraordinary abilities afforded him. As long as there were enough monsters, he could level up quickly.

"Leave it to us. With this knowledge, we’ll make significant progress in a short ti," Eileena said. The key aspect of this knowledge was that it provided them with more possibilities, ensuring that their future research wouldn’t be limited to a very narrow starting point.

Their research could now be conducted from a broader perspective.

In alchemy arts, apart from material processing, there were also things like crafting magic puppets. Eileena had new ideas for this, combining necromancy with this construct crafting thod, which was great.

"My protection magic and Blessing Magic might also find new directions for expansion," said Katrina, "Protection and Blessing Magics adapt well to Light type magical knowledge... it’s just that these magical knowledges contain too much of the Fire type."

"The knowledge ca from a fire dragon. I’ll find more magic knowledge when I get the chance."

What followed was a ti of extensive shopping. Money was not an issue for Zheng Yichen, and he could get equipnt and such through channels. Many items could be delivered the sa day, including renovation services, which Zheng Yichen didn’t use.

Katrina and Eileena also didn’t want those services. A witch’s workshop had to be crafted by hand to be reliable, even a modern witch’s workshop.

Luckily, Zheng Yichen had considerable patience for assembling equipnt. He quite enjoyed the process. As for the expansion of the workshop, the control over the earth Elents granted by Oma played a significant role. After knocking down so of the ground, he easily expanded a new basent and incidentally reinforced the surrounding foundations.

When he saw sunlight again, it was already a week later.

At the Night Banquet Bar, after Zheng Yichen arrived, he nodded a greeting to the barkeeper, who gave him a faint smile in return. Having seen the barkeeper at the Dusk Cathedral previously, Zheng Yichen’s suspicions about the barkeeper’s identity had diminished a lot. As for unconditional trust... let’s forget it. After being duped once, Zheng Yichen beca much more cautious in this regard.

Following the eting with the barkeeper at the Dusk Cathedral, he also learned that the barkeeper occasionally went to the Zero Point marketplace of the Dusk Cathedral to buy so special items.

Not far from the barkeeper, Ahn Qi was also there. The reason he ca here was because Ahn Qi had contacted him.
