To let Zheng Yichen give freely?
It’s understandable if one or two people do it, but there are hundreds of thousands of people here, and he’s not their father.
"We need to maintain the consumption of this ship." Short-haired Zhong Yan arranged for people and then imdiately found Zheng Yichen, as high-energy crystals were not to be used, those are currently strategic reserves.
Plus, the worlds are different, and using a little ans having a little less, unless he opens a storage cabinet with another Zhong Yan, otherwise, it’s only for ergencies.
For instance, when Zheng Yichen wasn’t around yesterday, they used so high-energy crystals to repel the savage creatures’ attacks.
Currently, it’s not an ergency, so they just consu their own energy to maintain the Firmant Wheel through the Fantasy Great Array Formation.
"As you’ve decided, let’s set off."
Zheng Yichen waved his hand, and the Sky Wheel began to spin slightly, utilizing its built-in anti-gravity capability to rise and quickly reached the edge of the mystical river. So people looked at the river with awe through the observation ports of the Sky Wheel.
The shock brought by this boundless river was incredibly intense.
Having rechecked the condition inside the Firmant Wheel, Zheng Yichen didn’t pay more attention. The people were divided into six parts, rotating shifts to maintain the Firmant Wheel, according to the sche short-haired Zhong Yan gave him.
Each group would rotate every four hours, not causing excessive pressure and ensuring ample rest. In critical monts, those who are not deployed can still respond to ergencies.
Crossing the river is more awe-inspiring than moving on the mainland. So parts of the river look calm, but from farther away, one can see storms gathering in dark clouds.
Zheng Yichen didn’t challenge the savage river’s storms this ti, directly bypassing them even if so storm covers tens of thousands of kiloters. Yet, as long as not swept in, they can be admired from a close distance, hundreds of kiloters away.
With no storm interference, the journey beca much more efficient.
After using this Firmant Wheel, Zheng Yichen was eager to get his hands on a real Firmant Wheel.
Now he could lower the technical requirents of the Firmant Wheel, especially with materials like the Ancient Venerable fragnt, planning to enhance it with Dusk after acquiring the Firmant Wheel.
This would allow the Firmant Wheel to ignore low environntal impacts, and once those are ignored, he could integrate magical parts in the creation of the Super Firmant Wheel!
He set his mind to it; upon returning, he would acquire this device.
Acting as the current captain of the Firmant Wheel, Zheng Yichen looked at the console before him, reached out, and pressed the accelerate button. The Firmant Wheel’s console wasn’t a complex thing.
The one Zheng Yichen was using had been simplified by Lilith a second ti.
Not because of looking down on Zheng Yichen’s intelligence, but solely because this was his first ti operating it without systematic learning while ensuring efficiency and indulging a bit.
On reaching the other side of the river, Zheng Yichen saw a familiar figure, that bird...
He had already crossed the river, but the bird was still by the riverbank, judging by so bones nearby, it had always been here.
Watching the arriving Firmant Wheel, the giant flying beast showed a wary expression, but before it could act, the Firmant Wheel disappeared from its sight.
The giant flying beast’s big eyes had ’confusion,’ but soon it shifted attention to the preys it just caught.
From yesterday onwards, it sensed changes in its body, finding a new power it never had before. This new power was related to wind, making flight easier.
Besides, it beca better at utilizing food, yet got hungry more easily.
This compelled it to hunt prey frequently here, and getting used to new powers made capturing once difficult prey much easier and even urged more thoughts during prey capture.
These thoughts allowed it to use its powers better, perhaps offering a chance to hunt larger creatures...
"The dayti seems longer today." When they were still tens of thousands of kiloters from Dusk Territory, soone finally noticed sothing amiss; today’s journey had extended several hours compared to yesterday, yet it was still bright.
Judging from the sun’s position, it was mid-afternoon, with still hours till evening, indicating that daylight ti exceeded yesterday’s far.
"It must be because the environnt stabilized," explained another observer of the external environnt.
"Get ready, we’re almost there." Zhong Yan interrupted the conversation, pointing out that they were not far from Dusk Territory. Originally, the Firmant Wheel was not needed after crossing the river, but its convenience and their willingness to provide adequate energy kept it running.
Though the ti to reach the destination wouldn’t differ much, the comfort level of the Firmant Wheel is high enough.
"We’re finally there." Looking at the slowly restoring Dusk milestone, Zheng Yichen yawned, maintaining the current speed without acceleration, and calmly approached Dusk Territory.
He noticed so ’primitive people,’ who were natives of the Savage World and had acquired new powers due to environntal changes.
They promptly sent ’offerings’ towards Dusk Territory. There are plenty of natives in this world, evident from the number of Dusk nuns.
With over thirty-five Dusk nuns, the human native population in this world likely exceeds ten billion.
Of course, given the massive size of the Savage World, ten billion people are nothing.
Such nurous natives dispersed across the Savage World appear ’scarce’—after all, Zheng Yichen encountered no humanoid creatures, as he previously had things to do and was not specifically searching.
No civilizations erged, not even at the tribal level of the Wild Ancient World, making seeking local indigenous people a waste.
With the task complete, Zheng Yichen had the interest to ponder matters unrelated to him.
What causes the natives to show such ’reverence’ towards Dusk Territory?
Investigating firsthand is cumberso, so Zheng Yichen decided to ask Dusk nuns straightforwardly.
"We arrived at our destination!!" Seeing the ancient and savage-styled Dusk Territory, Outsiders aboard the Firmant Wheel cheered, feeling as if discovering a new foundation.
United, they possess substantial power, but the Savage World is too vast, encountering countless epic creatures along the way doesn’t provide much safety.
However, arriving at Dusk Territory is different. As a neutral place, it offers absolute safety. In the future, they would build a new capital here, with all developnt focused around it.
Once Qualified people appear, they will beco Dusk rcenaries, a highly honorable status among them.
The ’primitive people’ performing ’rituals’ on the ground looked up at the sky, dumbfounded.
As the Firmant Wheel descended, they prostrated, minimizing their presence, while so rushed towards Dusk Territory.
Seeing this, Zheng Yichen’s expression turned subtle: "Could they be offering rituals to Dusk Territory because so natives, fleeing from pursuers, found shelter here, survived, and thus regarded this place as special?"
Once people disembarked from the Firmant Wheel, Zheng Yichen dispelled the Fantasy Great Array Formation, causing the imnse Firmant Wheel to vanish.
Having reached here, Zheng Yichen breathed a sigh of relief. Short-haired Zhong Yan approached and, after a brief exchange with Zheng Yichen, hurried off.
They were to establish a new camp here and deal with those natives who, realizing they were ’kin,’ no longer maintained their previous fear and so ferociously attacked.
Those were imdiately subdued by them.
When dealing with the Dusk part, no rush is necessary, as not everyone has Dusk adaptability. Even among over three hundred thousand people, fewer than twenty thousand have it, due to selective migration.
Thus, connecting with Dusk doesn’t need haste—stabilize the situation first, and then tackle the rest. Dusk won’t run away.
