Chapter 231 Lonely Death God
Two of them were hundreds of ters underground. They just wanted to flee away from the treasure vault, so they flew without any sense of direction. Finally, the duo managed to escape outside the palace.
At this mont, William sat at the tunnel entrance and waved his left hand. He panted heavily and said, “I can’t dig anymore. My left hand is alright, but my right hand has swollen.”
Moses glanced at William’s left arm that had grown bigger and then at his slender right arm. He rolled his eyes.
William had failed as a man since he did not have the required stamina.
Hehe...
Trash!
Moses cast a healing spell on William before using his magic skill to detect for pursuers.
Three minutes passed, and then, Moses stroked his chin and said, “There are no pursuers. The things that we have stolen are not critical. Fortunately, we weren’t greedy. Otherwise, we would have been discovered once I had co in contact with the alternate dinsion.
“Continue digging for tens of thousands of ters. We’ll be able to get out.”
“What? Tens of thousands of ters? I can’t make it...” William did not like to dig underground, especially on this desolate island. There were too many hard ores in the way.
“If we don’t dig, we’ll encounter the horde of dark creatures. Do you wish to take the transformation potion?”
“I’ll dig. I’ll take it as my training.” William frowned. He would rather dig than drink the remaining potion.
At the sa ti, Fatty and his companions participated in the battle as rcenaries.
A grand battle was taking place.
This battle was a far cry from the war in the southeastern region.
Once they entered the battlefield, the players felt as though they were small worms.
The other warriors were tall, strong, and ferocious.
The Interdiate warriors were rcenaries.
The Advanced warriors ford the regular army.
The Grandmaster warriors acted as the elite forces.
The Epic warriors were the crè de la crè.
The Legendary warriors, their fights took place on another battlefield.
Fatty placed his cara high up. He saw a frightening scene.
A Devil’s Den rose up from the ground. Tens of thousands of well-prepared dark creatures charged towards the low-end battlefield. The thousands of Elven soldiers were about to be massacred by the countless dark creatures.
But then, a water elental enchanter stepped out.
He waved his magic wand.
Nurous water elentals erged.
At that mont, many warriors lifted their heads.
They saw a lake imprinted on the sky. The lake surface was like a mirror, and there were no ripples on it.
When they saw the phenonon, the tens of thousands of dark creatures wanted to retreat into the Devil’s Den. They realized what it ant.
It was a curse!
A Heavenly flood!
The lake that was tens of thousands of square ters splashed down.
Boom!
But what hit them was not floodwater...
It had the weight of a mountain. When it crashed down, countless dark creatures were crushed into at paste.
Then the torrential flood water covered the dark army.
“Do you think we devils can’t stop you?” An Epic devil glared at the mage as his body emitted a series of small explosions. Then he charged at the mage.
It was rare to find such a powerful mage among the Elves.
It was a mage who could beco a Legendary enchanter.
The devils would try all ans to kill him.
At the sa ti, an Epic close-combat Elf charged towards the devil, and both of them engaged in battle. Their fight created loud booming sounds.
They flew towards the sky.
As the shockwaves from their fighting were enough to kill many soldiers.
And that was not what the Elves wanted.
But, what about the devil?
He was nonchalant.
But Cronus had warned the devils never to do that!
Those who broke the rules would die...
There were three Epic devils and a Legendary Devil Lord who had been killed by Cronus personally.
It was a dire warning to the rest of the devils.
Cronus easily crushed the devils, and the devils could not resist.
This war was started by Cronus. He had beco a sage, so he did not need to obey the King of Darkness. Since Cronus had defected to the Dark World, he was on par with the King of Darkness.
Hence, Cronus assud leadership on the battlefield. Even though most of his subordinates were devils and dark creatures, they obeyed his command.
The Dark World had the intention to invade, so Cronus made use of the dark power to massacre the Moonlight Elves.
Cronus and the dark army made use of each other to cripple the Moonlight Elves.
The Moonlight Elves might be forced to give up Moonlight Island and hide in desolate areas under the protection of the two remaining sages.
Cronus did not need other people to understand him.
He only wanted to be the executioner for his own race.
Cronus had killed nurous Elves.
Nobody would understand why.
He could not determine whether what he did was right or wrong...
Only history would judge his actions.
Cronus had a dream.
On one day, the powerful Moonlight Elves would be severely crippled in the annals of history.
Because Cronus was a traitor!
Then the ambition of the Elves would be revived, and the race would beco more powerful.
“Even if I’m being crucified on the pillar of sha and will be condemned by my race, I’m not bothered. You’re... my beloved clansn...” The lonely Cronus sat on his throne as he gazed at the empty hall. There were no more green plants in the palace. His eyes were full of anticipation for the future.
It was like what William had said.
The intact palace was being used by Cronus as a morial place.
Because every King was lonely.
Cronus was a lonely Death God. He was waiting for a new powerful King who would decapitate him as a warning. The new King would lead his race to a new prosperous life!
Fatty and his companions did not dare to participate in this war. They did not care about the looks of disdain and stayed at a safe corner. They continued to provide good video coverage of the war.
“Take a look, it’s a cannon gunner!”
“Gosh, are the cannon gunners that ferocious?”
The audience was busy comnting.
A Grandmaster cannon gunner charged into a battlefield and fired off his dual hand cannons!
Rays of white magical cannon shots were fired continuously.
Pom, pom, pom...
The shots were fast, powerful, and in rhythm...
The cannon shots decimated the dark creatures.
A Grandmaster devil charged towards the cannon gunner.
But the cannon gunner ignored the devil and threw his dual hand cannons to the sky. As the cannons spun in the air, rays of cannon shots fired out in all directions, and countless dark creatures were turned to ash.
“D*mn!” the devil shouted and transford into a dark figure before he fled.
But at this mont, the empty-handed cannon gunner stepped back. A super-long sniper rifle appeared from thin air.
The magical stones on the sniper rifle emitted brilliance while the cannon gunner infused the battle energy into the rifle!
Boom!
A ray of light that was a few thousand ters wide filled the entire battlefield!
That devil... perished on the spot.
The cannon gunner was an occupation that erged in the third era. He was very powerful and looked aweso.
Many players were dazed by the aweso cannon gunner.
But the important point was, this occupation required a lot of money!
The rifles and cannons that had magical purple crystals were not cheap. A normal professional did not require that many weapons...
anwhile, a handso Half-Elf who had crawled out from the ground was in deep thoughts.
This scenario was taking place because the Hal-Elf had endured for a few months and even used a drop of the Life Potion to nourish his head; only then he had long and beautiful hair. But then, it was all gone...
“MD, fortunately, I used a helt. Otherwise, my head would have been gone. But... why did I feel like I’ll be bald in the future.” William touched his hot Legendary helt. Fortunately, he had sensed danger and was able to dodge the devastating ray.
He glared viciously at the cannon gunner. He promised himself that he would unleash the silver-backed monkeys on the cannon gunner to take revenge!
