After taking a deep look at the Aqua glass, Pyon reached into her pocket and pulled out a pink phone.
"Actually, this Aqua Glass is the second of the Seven Great Beauties I've seen."
"Before this, I was fortunate enough to witness another one of the beauties—'White Fla'!" As she spoke softly, Pyon slowly raised her phone to show the two of them.
On the screen was a photo of a pitch-black deep sea, with a dazzling white light shining in the center. It was a fla burning in the depths of the ocean!
Though the white fla was incredibly bright, both Akira and Satotz could still make out the faint outline of a fish beneath the glow. From its appearance, it seed to be a small deep-sea fish, with intricate patterns faintly visible on its back, giving it a mysterious beauty.
It sowhat resembled the Pokémon Feebas, but it was far more beautiful.
Akira still rembered the description of "White Fla" from Hunter x Hunter.
This fish lives in the polar deep sea, its entire body combustible, capable of producing a beautiful white fla while still alive. It's said that this white fla is truly, completely white! A whiter than anything else in the world! Unfortunately, this fish is extrely difficult to catch and even harder to keep alive, as its body rots quickly after death.
Only a very few lucky individuals have ever witnessed the beauty of this ultimate white...
Even though they were only seeing it through a phone screen and not in person, they could still feel the magnificence of the "White Fla." Truly worthy of being called one of the Seven Great Beauties—the "Ultimate White"!
Seeing their reactions, Piyon began to share her experience of how she encountered the White Fla. According to her, it was during a mission assigned by the Hunter Association to investigate changes in a deep-sea ruin.
The Hunter Association often takes on jobs from the governnt or corporations, which are then delegated to hunters within the association. For hunters who accept these commissions, regardless of whether the mission succeeds, the association guarantees them a certain reward based on the risk and difficulty of the task.
As a result, so hunters only take on these kinds of jobs, earning them the nickna "Association Specialists," or "A-Specs" for short.
Typically, these hunters aren't particularly skilled, at least compared to others.
As one of the Twelve Zodiacs, Pyon naturally wasn't part of this group.
As a high-ranking mber of the association, she far surpassed those hunters. The tasks she handled were major missions directly assigned by the association, ones that ordinary Nen users couldn't undertake.
Accompanying her was another mber of the Twelve Zodiacs—The man known as "Ging," the Wanderer! The association naturally couldn't assign work to Ging, but he happened to be interested in this mission, so he joined.
What they didn't expect was that, since the deep-sea ruin was located at the convergence of the two poles, they would have the fortune of witnessing the so-called "White Fla"!
Unfortunately, the "White Fla" appeared quickly and vanished just as swiftly, disappearing into the dark depths of the ocean before the two could react further.
All that remained was this single, tily captured photograph!
"Before that, I had only heard about the Seven Great Beauties of the World from others or read about them in books."
"It wasn't until that mont that I truly experienced their beauty—it was indescribable!"
"True, ultimate beauty!" Pyon stared blankly at the "White Fla" in the photo, his words filled with admiration.
...
Just as the three began discussing the Seven Great Beauties of the World, Akira suddenly frowned and sharply turned his head toward the cave entrance they had co from.
"Gengar, Shadow Ball!"
Since the residual cursed energy in the cave chamber had been completely absorbed by Gengar, the mont it heard its master's command, it imdiately shielded Akira, standing in front of him.
Facing the cave entrance, Gengar short arms gathered in front of its chest, its crimson eyes wide open.
Almost instantly, a dark purple sphere, about the size of a basketball, ford in Gengar hands. The aura emanating from the Shadow Ball was chilling, and to an uninford observer, it might have seed like an enhanced version of cursed energy.
"Gengar!"
The Shadow Ball ford quickly and was thrown even faster. The sphere shot toward the "empty" cave entrance at incredible speed, causing a massive explosion and sending up clouds of dust!
It wasn't until Gengar launched the Shadow Ball that Satotz and Pyon realized what had just happened, quickly turning to the vigilant Akira to ask.
"What's going on?"
"Akira, your Gengar can attack?"
Both of them felt sowhat dazed, startled by Akira sudden action.
