From sunrise to sunset, Lucien spent three full days indulging himself without restraint.
By now, the entire world had been thrown into chaos. News spread everywhere as countless heroes and villains with supernatural abilities suddenly turned to ash. In the end, only ordinary people were left across most of Earth.
Society did not collapse as much as one might expect. Those who held wealth and power remained firmly in control. However, the overall safety of the world improved significantly. Ordinary people no longer had to fear being crushed by a battle between superhumans or encountering a flying threat the mont they stepped outside.
Perhaps this was the future the Ancient One had foreseen.
Inside a luxurious bedroom at the top floor of Stark Tower, Lucien slowly opened his eyes. The Simmons bed beneath him was large enough to fit several people comfortably. As he rose, his boxers, shirt, and beach shorts slipped onto his body automatically.
On the ssy sheets behind him, a blonde beauty lay asleep, her figure alluring even by the highest standards.
In the living room, Pepper sat on the sofa, typing quickly on her laptop. When she noticed Lucien stepping out, she imdiately stood up.
"Mr. Lucien, would you like sothing to drink?"
"You continue," Lucien replied casually, waving his hand as he sat down on the sofa.
A translucent light screen appeared in front of him. The countdown for the system update had only ten seconds remaining.
Ten seconds passed in silence.
Lucien stared at the updated interface, his expression turning slightly odd. The so called upgrade looked almost identical to before. The Dice, the model airplane, and the empty grid remained unchanged.
After carefully examining it, he managed to extract two key pieces of information.
Version 5.0 allowed five regular Luck points to be combined into one VIP Luck point.
Overall, the update was not bad.
Ten regular Dice could now be rged into one Luck Dice, and five Luck points could be fused into a VIP Luck point. While regular Dice still had a chance to roll high value rewards, the probability was extrely low. The sa applied to regular Luck draws attempting to obtain VIP tier items.
Only VIP Luck guaranteed the highest level rewards.
So whether this change was a gain or a loss depended entirely on perspective.
As for lifespan, Lucien had expected it to decrease again. Instead, it had stabilized at a solid 100 years. There were no question marks this ti, just a clear number.
At this mont, he had 4 VIP draws, 21 Luck draws, and 3 regular Dice rolls.
Without hesitation, Lucien combined 20 Luck draws into 4 VIP draws.
That brought his total to 8 VIP draws.
He felt truly wealthy. A strange tension built in his chest, similar to the thrill he felt during his very first roll. His blood stirred with anticipation.
The Dice spun.
The model airplane flew across the grid.
The first VIP draw was used.
A bright light flashed.
"Ti Pause for 1 second."
"Explanation: Ti can be paused within a 5 ter radius centered on the user. Duration and range increase with growth."
"Note: Consus a large amount of Ki."
Lucien's eyes widened.
Ti Pause.
Even if it only lasted one second, even if the range was limited, this was still control over ti itself.
He had experienced sothing similar through the Ti Stone, but that was borrowed power. This ability belonged to him.
No limitation could hide how terrifying it was.
Taking a breath, he cald himself and activated the second VIP draw.
The light faded.
"Shrinking the Earth into an Inch 3."
"Explanation: Compress distance, fold space, and traverse vast distances in a single step."
"Note: Can be cultivated and upgraded. Each level doubles the distance."
Lucien quickly calculated.
Originally, the ability allowed him to cross 100 kiloters in one step. With three upgrades, it reached level 4.
That ant 100, 200, 400, 800 kiloters.
One step now covered 800 kiloters.
His lips twitched slightly.
This was absurd.
Although compared to the Space Stone it seed smaller in scale, it was still an incredible ability. Having experienced greater power before, his excitent cooled slightly.
The third VIP draw began.
"One Force Breaks All Laws."
"Explanation: Absolute strength can shatter ti, space, causality, and other laws."
"Note: Cannot exceed the user's own level."
Lucien leaned back, his eyes shining.
This ability was terrifying.
As long as his opponent was not stronger than him, any strange or abstract power could be forcibly broken through sheer strength. Even abilities involving ti or space would lose their advantage.
This was dominance in its purest form.
The fourth VIP draw followed.
"Revival Coin."
Lucien exhaled quietly. He had already experienced its effect before, so the excitent was less intense, but its value remained undeniable.
The fifth draw.
"One Senzu Bean."
The sixth draw.
"Future Prediction 1."
His prediction window increased to four seconds.
Level 4.
Simple, but extrely useful.
The seventh draw.
"Law Following Speech 1."
Now also at level 4.
Lucien nodded slightly. As expected, VIP rewards never disappointed.
The eighth and final VIP draw began.
The Dice spun once more.
The light faded.
"One Senzu Bean."
Lucien sighed faintly. He had hoped for a new ability, but this result was still valuable.
All eight VIP draws were used.
None of them were wasted.
There was still one regular Luck draw left.
The model airplane flew across six empty squares before stopping.
"Random Transmigration 1."
Lucien relaxed completely.
Since arriving in this world, he had rolled the Dice sixteen tis. Most of them were VIP draws, sothing he could not have imagined before.
He ntally reviewed everything he had obtained.
Death Beam. Hardening 1. Law Following Speech 1. Iron Body 1. Shrinking the Earth into an Inch. Re enabled Dying Ability. Fasting. Ti Pause. Shrinking the Earth into an Inch 3. One Force Breaks All Laws. Revival Coin. Senzu Bean. Future Prediction 1. Law Following Speech 1. Senzu Bean. Random Transmigration 1.
The value of these abilities was imasurable.
And he had acquired them with shocking ease.
The Infinity Stones had allowed him to completely surpass everyone else.
At this point, the resources of this world were nearly exhausted.
Only Odin remained.
Lucien's eyes narrowed slightly.
That old god should be enough to trigger his Dying Ability one more ti.
However, there was still a lingering uncertainty.
Was this world based on the movies or the comics?
If it was limited to the movies, then the ceiling ended around the events of Avengers 4.
But if it followed the comics...
Lucien's expression darkened.
Beings like the Living Tribunal, the Beyonder, the Celestials, the Watchers, Galactus, Eternity, Infinity, Death...
Any one of them could crush him effortlessly.
If they truly existed here, then even the Infinity Stones would not be enough to erase them.
They might have already noticed him.
That thought alone sent a chill down his spine.
