"Roar!"

Amid the ruins, Hulk slamd both fists into the ground, baring his teeth as he roared at Theo's departing figure. He charged forward, sending abandoned vehicles flying in all directions. The earth beneath his feet shattered as he launched himself into the sky.

Even with his terrifying jumping power, he could not catch up.

Hulk was not the only one refusing to give up.

On Stark Tower, Thor tore himself free from the steel bars with brute force, roaring in fury. His flesh was torn and bloodied, yet he showed no hesitation. Gripping Mjolnir tightly, he raised it toward the sky.

The darkened heavens erupted instantly.

Thunder roared as endless lightning gathered, forming a violent torrent that crashed down toward Theo under Thor's command.

Theo's expression remained cold and indifferent. His right fist, wrapped in a white pressure shield, held the Mind Stone scepter as he punched forward.

The air shattered like glass.

A devastating shockwave tore through the lightning, completely overpowering it before slamming into Thor.

The sound of breaking bones echoed.

Thor spat blood as his body was hurled away like a cannonball, crashing into a distant street. He landed in a massive crater, unable to rise again.

With Thor dealt with, Hulk closed in from behind. His massive fists, veins bulging, swung forward like unstoppable battering rams.

He never reached his target.

A terrifying repulsive force struck him head on, sending him flying back even faster than he ca.

The chaos refused to settle.

Blood poured from his waist as Steve forced himself forward. With his vibranium shield, he cut through the steel rods pinning him down. He coughed, his face pale with pain, yet he still looked up at the sky.

Gritting his teeth, he broke into a short run, twisted his body, and hurled the shield with all his strength.

The shield sliced through the air.

Theo did not even slow down.

The mont the shield approached, it was repelled and sent flying away.

He raised both hands.

The skyscrapers on either side of the street trembled violently as if seized by an invisible force. The entire city center shook as buildings tilted and began collapsing toward the ground.

Below, the severely injured Tony and the others could only watch in despair.

They had no strength left to stop it.

Yet even now, the interruptions did not cease.

The remaining Chitauri forces shifted their focus to the Cosmic Cube device. Unfortunately for them, numbers ant nothing against overwhelming power.

Theo casually threw two punches into the air.

The atmosphere split apart.

A large section of the sky, previously filled with Chitauri soldiers, was instantly cleared.

"Ding!"

The Mind Stone scepter made contact with the device.

A surge of energy erupted.

The massive beam of light connecting sky and earth began to fade. Above, the spatial portal started closing at a visible speed.

Theo looked at the Cosmic Cube before him, a smile forming on his lips.

Once he obtained the remaining stones, Reality, Power, Soul, and Ti, his first mission would be complete. He had already decided on his reward.

Even if he failed, he would still gather all six Infinity Stones and wield them with the Infinity Gauntlet.

At that point, he would stand above everything.

Compared to that, abilities like immortality, ti reversal, or future sight felt insignificant.

A deep roar suddenly shook the heavens.

A colossal divine dragon, stretching hundreds of thousands of ters, descended from the depths of space like a falling star. The atmosphere trembled violently, as if the world itself was being reshaped.

Across countless cities, people looked up in shock, their faces frozen in disbelief.

It was like witnessing a miracle.

"Damn it, that fast!"

Theo's expression darkened.

The Cosmic Cube had not fully stabilized. He could not risk touching it directly. If it activated unpredictably and sent him sowhere unknown, he would lose everything.

"Faster!"

Ti was slipping away.

He needed only thirty more seconds.

"Damn it!"

Theo looked up, fury twisting his features. Veins bulged along his arm as his right fist clenched tighter. The pressure shield expanded and compressed, rging with his telekinetic force.

He swung upward.

A massive shockwave tore through the atmosphere, colliding head on with the descending dragon.

Blinding light erupted, expanding outward like a catastrophic explosion.

But before the energy could spread, the Cosmic Cube reacted.

A surge of dazzling light engulfed everything.

In an instant, the brilliance vanished.

Stark Tower, at the center, remained strangely intact.

Theo was gone.

The Mind Stone was gone.

Golden white energy flowed around Lucien as his long hair danced wildly, streaked with flickering golden lightning. His sharp brows and glowing pupils were drawn together in anger, his entire presence radiating killing intent.

Then he noticed the Cosmic Cube rolling across the ground.

His expression eased slightly.

The reason he had returned so quickly was not only because he maintained Life Evolution 1, but also because he used the war background music in the cold vacuum of space to accelerate his journey back to Earth.

Without it, he would not have even reached halfway.

Lucien did not touch the Cosmic Cube directly. It was unstable.

Instead, he took out the eighty two year old Lafite box he had obtained before and carefully placed the cube inside.

When he tried to store it in the Trash Golden Finger space, it failed.

Normally, consumable items like Red Bull, cigars, or Lafite could have their containers reused to store other items within that space.

But not this.

A few seconds later, Lucien gave up and carried the box himself.

He had already tested it. Other objects could be stored, but not the Cosmic Cube.

The system gave no explanation.

Perhaps only collecting all six Infinity Stones would trigger so kind of change.

Before he could think further, energy blasts struck his body.

Lucien looked up.

The remaining Chitauri forces were still active. Even though the portal had closed, a large number of them remained, clearly attempting to reclaim the Cosmic Cube and reopen it.

Lucien's left arm detached from his body and dropped to the ground.

In an instant, it transford into a clone that charged straight toward the Chitauri.

Even at one tenth of his strength, it was more than enough to slaughter them.

Ignoring the battle above, Lucien vanished from the building.

In the blink of an eye, he reached the ground.

Before him stood the collapsed remains of several skyscrapers, stacked and intertwined.

With a flick of his finger, a shockwave cleared a narrow path just above the ground. Lucien moved through it horizontally, entering a confined space beneath the debris.

Inside, Hulk and Thor knelt on one knee, their bodies trembling as they held up massive slabs of reinforced concrete above them.

Below, Tony, Natasha, Hawkeye, and Steve lay bloodied and battered.

At the critical mont, Hulk and Thor had taken the full weight, keeping the others from being crushed.

"Savior..."

When Lucien appeared, their expressions were complicated, caught between relief and dread.

According to the Supre Mage, Whitebeard and the Sword God were only worth a single point of trust.

The so called Savior was slightly better, but still only two points.

And all of it revolved around the Infinity Stones.

Lucien had no intention of killing them.

He intended to turn them into Demons.

The Infinity Stones were tied closely to these people. Through them, it would be easier to locate the remaining stones and even draw out other enemies.

Villains had value too.

They were resources.

His real targets remained his two fellow countryn, the Sword God and Whitebeard.

Besides, Lucien was not certain whether these people were Children of Destiny. If they were important figures, killing them outright would be a waste.

Everyone in the Avengers could be considered protagonists, but that did not necessarily make them Children of Destiny.

After weighing everything, turning them into Demons brought more benefits.

Of course, he could take the risk and kill them all. If they truly were Children of Destiny, the rewards would be imnse, possibly even granting him abilities to surpass his current limits.

That would make dealing with Whitebeard and the Sword God far easier.

But Lucien did not gamble.

His plans extended beyond them.

There were countless villains scattered across the universe. Finding them one by one would be inefficient.

So he chose a better approach.

Wait.

Let them co to him.

That was the smarter path.
