Pakunoda walked past them. "Don’t misunderstand. Loki’s ’a little ti’ isn’t about you."
The next morning, Loki and his group resud their journey towards the ant nest, Loki leading the way.
He thought, If following the original plot still doesn’t trigger a mission... then these ants will be useless.
He looked up at the clear blue sky. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, falling on his face. His white cloak billowed gently.
Sothing seed to flash across the sky, a burst of Nen shooting straight ahead before vanishing.
Kite, leading his team, was conducting entry checks when a violent whooshing sound filled the air.
He rushed out, looking up.
’That familiar sound...’ Thump! Dust erupted as sothing fell from the sky. Kite’s eyes narrowed. He recognized that move instantly.
A fellow player from Greed Island.
Hearing the commotion, the others rushed out to investigate, waiting for the wind to clear the dust. Two figures approached.
"Kite!"
They were Gon and Killua. After Loki left Greed Island, Gon remained, finally clearing the ga today after over a month.
As Gon cleared the ga, other teams were nearing completion.
They were dealing with the "One-Acre Shoreline Incident" orchestrated by Leorio.
Kite wasn’t surprised to see Gon. He’d t him before.
With Gon’s talent, clearing Greed Island was only a matter of ti.
What was strange was why Gon was looking for him.
After a conversation, Kite understood that Ging must have done sothing to lead Gon to him.
Looking at Killua, he said, "If you’re looking for Ging, I have no clues."
Gon nodded. "I know Ging wouldn’t be that easy to find, but eting you, Kite, is good too."
Gon’s optimistic attitude surprised Kite.
Normally, people would be disappointed, but Gon showed no disappointnt.
"Want to team up?"
"Team up?" Kite pointed to the distant trees. "I received intel about an unknown creature, possibly related to a designated quarantine species.
Before you arrived, we were about to investigate."
Gon and Killua found this exciting.
"Then let’s team up with you, Kite!"
Kite, Gon, and Killua were reunited, quickly passing the entry check.
They proceeded slowly.
"Many Hunters have entered recently," Kite said, glancing at Gon and Killua.
"Expect unexpected situations ahead. Be careful."
"Kite-san, stop treating us like kids," Gon said, clenching his fist. "After seeing your battle, I trained like crazy. I’m not the sa as before."
Confidence shone in Gon’s eyes. Kite smiled. "Is that so? Good. But don’t get overconfident, Gon."
Killua, riding his horse, chuckled. "Compared to that guy, we’re still far behind!"
"I’ll catch up to him," Gon declared, undeterred.
As they proceeded, twilight fell, and night descended. Under the moonlight, in a dense forest, Loki suddenly stopped.
His companions also halted, slowly tilting their heads up. Loki’s eyes narrowed.
A Chira Ant erged from behind a large tree. Then, more and more Chira Ants appeared. In an instant, thirty or forty Chira Ants surrounded them.
"More humans have co to us! Good! Plenty of them. Don’t rush!" A frog-like Chira Ant, wearing clothes, stepped forward, looking at Loki and his group.
"Seven targets."
"You have three choices: One, imdiately decide your duel order. Two, try to escape, and we’ll hunt you down. Three, surrender and co with us."
The frog chuckled. "But I don’t recomnd the third option. The first two are far more interesting."
"So, tell , what’s your choice?"
Hisoka licked his lips, glancing at Loki, waiting for him to speak.
But Loki wasn’t listening to the frog. He stared blankly at a system notification that had suddenly appeared.
Ding! Mission triggered! Chira Ant Elimination Operation. Eliminate 100 Chira Ants.
Mission triggered! Bigger Ants! Eliminate a Chira Ant Squadron Leader! Reward: A-class gacha draw.
Mission triggered! Ant Nest Destruction. Destroy the Chira Ant nest.
Mission triggered! Hope of Extermination. Eliminate the Chira Ant King. Reward: S-class gacha draw.
Mission triggered! Ant King’s Guards. Eliminate the King’s three Royal Guards. Reward: A-class gacha draw.
Dozens of Chira Ants surrounded them, each looking ferocious.
While they showed no Nen, their combat abilities surpassed ordinary Nen users.
