Exercising in the morning to loosen up his muscles, training in the afternoon with Alejandro to get used to utilizing Entropy in combat, and then slowly drawing up the plan for the Catacomb heist in the evening.

That was the routine for the next 9 days (1 week) after Alex had exited the library, leaving Ana and Victoria to ponder if it was right to let him plan alone while he shuttled between Aragon and Evernight.

It was stressful no doubt, but with his goal burning brightly in his heart, Alex didn’t dare think for a second that it wasn’t worth it.

Of course, he didn’t dare to slack off on his health and so was inclined to get as much sleep as was considered healthy while ensuring his diet was unaffected.

Thankfully, the routine had begun to show results with Alex finally recovering so asure of control over his right hand while his capabilities with Entropy was slowly but surely getting where he wanted it to be.

On the tenth day, Alex arose from his slumber, realizing he’d spent the night in the black pool, reminiscing about his beautiful wife and mischievous daughter.

A warm smile adorned his lips as he felt rejuvenated, prepared to conquer the new day.

As he got out, he quickly ran a bath and cleaned himself up before stepping out of the bathroom to get dressed only for a knock at the door to draw his attention.

A simple glance and he could tell that all mbers of Constellation were currently outside with Ana in the lead.

Raising a brow at the sudden visit, Alex decided to open the door himself as he approached, pulling it back to reveal those who were lucky to receive the mark of Evernight.

"Why do I feel like I’m about to experience an Intervention?" Alex jokingly remarked only to pause as he noticed that none were smiling.

"... Is this really an Intervention?"

"Alex." Ana calmly intoned. "We need to talk."

"..."

It would seem it was an Intervention.

"We can’t just sit back and watch you carry on alone. You brought us together as a team, so why aren’t you taking us along now?" Arwen, surprisingly, was the first to speak up once they had gathered in Ana’s library.

The others didn’t say anything but it was clear she was voicing their thoughts as well.

Alex didn’t respond imdiately, taking the ti to scan the faces of all those present.

"Don’t you have anything to say?" Ana inquired, intending to back up Arwen.

A warm smile adorned the corners of Alex’s lips as he remarked. "Not at all."

"Then..."

"You are right. Constellation isn’t a one-man army and I don’t plan on making it one. I’ve been planning alone not because I didn’t want to involve you guys, but because I needed to be sure of how to use you all. Does that sound bad?"

"... Sowhat." Douglas couldn’t help but comnt.

"Regardless, now that we are all gathered. I believe it’s ti to get started on what I have in mind."

/3 days later/

The Archives of Antiquities was located in Lake Rhodes, nestled within the confines of a waterfall known as Susan’s Tears.

It was said that at so point before the Dark Ages, it was the lair of a powerful Human Wheel Mystic called the Baron of Creativity.

He had lost his woman, her na Susan, in a horrifying accident and with a desire to bring her back, trespassed into the domain of gods with the intent of creating life from scratch.

No one knew if he succeeded, though popular thought was that his mad experints led to what was now known as the Conjoined Wheel.

In any case, that was a long ti ago with the building now repurposed by the Great Families to house the deadliest Relics found on Ra’as.

A flock of birds flew past with one standing out in particular.

It looked strange, almost like it was trying its hardest to mimic the birds it was moving with.

Its eyes were trained on the waterfall, barely able to catch glimpses of what appeared to be silver flashes zipping around the waterfall.

To the untrained eye, it would seem like those were just optical illusions.

But to the Lesser Spirit Peres, it soon beca clear the reason for those flashes.

Swords and a great number of them zipped about, serving as an automatic defense system that ensured nothing ca close to the waterfall.

It would seem Ana’s remark of a Family head being in the Archives was not to be doubted.

Peres, having scanned the area thoroughly, quickly turned and left, making its way back to soplace far away from the waterfall before finally perching on the shoulder of Victoria, who stood beside Alex, donning a beautiful red sumr dress.

"How is it?"

"It’s moving too fast for even to break through easily, Master. I an no disrespect but I do not think you’d be able to get past without getting discovered."

"Even while concealing my presence?"

"The swords are ego weapons."

"What do you an?"

"That ans that they carry extensions of the Family Head’s will, which ans that they would be able to unravel any display of will exertion on the world. You would be discovered the mont even one crosses your path."

Alex maintained a calm facade as he remarked. "What if there are several of ?"

"Master?"

"If there so happened to be several of ?... Would it be enough to get past?"

"I can’t be sure but judging by how all the swords serving as security all look the sa, I have a feeling the blade might be a divider."

"Divider?"

"Basically a weapon that splits itself depending on the number of opponents it has to face. It naturally weakens as it divides but even one sword would be enough to alert the Family head of an intruder."

Alex remained silent as he pondered his remaining options.

At first, he’d looked down on the security asures of Eventide considering the lack of technological advancent but now he had co to accept that what they lacked in technology, Eventide had more than made up for with mysticism.

This would be a tough nut to crack and for that reason, Alex grew all the more excited.
