Chapter 33
Flynn instantly understood that he’d been caught, And imdiately, he grabbed his sister and tried to run, but the guards were faster. They caught them both and beat them up without rcy.
"How dare you steal what father had specially given as a gift? You ssed with the wrong person you thief, I’ll make you regret the day you were born."
Flynn cried and begged for his sister to be spared and that she wasn’t part of this, but all his pleas fell on dead ears.
"I’ll return your watch, please leave my sister out of this." He scread and begged.
After several minutes of sever beating, Flynn’s sister had passed out. They tied them both up and dragged them to a prison cell. They were thrown inhumanly into the cold dusty cell without any sympathy for the little seven year old girl who was half dead at this point.
She was bleeding all over her body, weak and unconscious.
Flynn hurried to her side, tapping and begging her to wake up, monts later, she managed to open her eyes, tears slipping from the corner as she stared weakly at her brother.
"I’m sorry Mia, this is all my fault. I’m so sorry." Flynn sobbed, pulling her tightly into his embrace.
"Brother, it hurts."
"Yeah I’m sorry, I won’t hold so tight."
Mia had lost a lot of blood, her clothes were soaked with blood, sa with Flynn, but he had much more endurance compared to a seven year old.
Hours later, Fla arrived with his daughter to the cell.
"There they are father, they’re the ones who stole the watch you gave . I made sure to teach them a lesson." His daughter said, pointing at the cell, more like a tiny cage.
Fla frowned as he looked at them with disgust, covering his nose like he could perceive so pungent sll coming off them.
Flynn crawled desperately to the door of the cell. "Please, save my sister. She’s dying, please I beg you. I’ll do anything you want, I’ll return your watch too, I haven’t sold it yet. Please, just....save her." His voice trembled as he begged, his palms rubbing together in a desperate plea.
Fla tilted his head to look into the cage, and there he saw a little girl soaked in blood, lying helplessly, it was obvious she was close to dying.
"You’ll do anything?"
"Yes, yes I’ll do anything."
Fla turned to his daughter. "What do you say my love? He’ll be better off as a puppet don’t you think?"
"I agree with you father, do what you want with him, I’ve already punished him to my satisfaction, and my watch..I need it back."
"Guards, take the girl to the doctor and bring the boy to my chambers. Make sure to scrub off all the filth before bringing him into my house."
And that was how it happened, that was how Flynn ended up as their puppet.
"My sister, you-all never told she was dead, and you continue to use her as a leverage, threatening that you’d kill her if I didn’t play along." Flynn voice trembled as he spoke, rage and hatred clear in his eyes.
"How did you find out?"
"Ohh you thought I’d never find out? If you wanted to hide the truth from that much, then you should have hid it well! Do you know how much it hurts to find out that my sister died because of ? She was all I had left, she was the only thing that kept going, and she was the only reason I was obedient to you-all fucking bastards. I have nothing more to lose, so why don’t i just end this now that I got the chance?"
"Flynn, calm down... please, we wronged you, and we accept that. There’s no need to kill us, that won’t yield any good and you know that. We’re officials, and words would spread that were were killed by soone, you’d beco a wanted target by then, is that what you want? You need to know this is a reckless move." The man in water mask pleaded, trying to negotiate.
"What happens in here stays here. Your bodies? I know a perfect way to make you-all disappear from existence. All the people would hear is, six officials went missing and they still haven’t been found. Too bad you’d be dead by then and won’t be able to see how my plan works out perfectly." He answered with a smirk.
"You’re insane, choosing you was a big mistake you ungrateful thief."
Flynn’s smile dropped the second he heard that word again.
Thief.
He walked up to the man who said it and grabbed the back of his neck, then he slamd his face into the stone floor so hard his mask cracked and part of his jaw dislocated with a loud snap. The man scread, but Flynn ignored and just slamd him again and again until the scream stopped.
"Ungrateful? I was a starving kid taking care of a seven year old. You kidnapped . You beat my sister. You threw us in a cage and fed lies for years. And you want to talk about gratitude?"
He dragged the broken body to the center of the room and dropped it like trash, blood pooling around the mouth.
"You all made a weapon," he said, turning his gaze on the other four. "And you thought you could control it?"
They all watched him, unable to do anything. They had no power to fight back at the mont, and all that was left was to accept their fate.
"You kept dangling her life in front of like a dog chained to a promise. Every ti I disobeyed, you’d threaten to ’pull the plug’. You never said she was already dead. You made serve you like a loyal mutt when you had already buried her."
He crouched in front of one of them, tilting his head slightly.
"You buried her, didn’t you?"
The man didn’t answer.
Flynn leaned in closer, voice dropping to a whisper.
"Did you even bother? Did you throw her body in the dump like she was so trash?"
Everyone remained silent.
And then the one in Earth mask finally spoke, voice trembling. "We know nothing, fla was the one responsible, he never told us anything about how he got rid of the body, we have no idea, believe , I don’t know anything.
Flynn stared at him for a long second, and without another word, he snapped Earth’s neck off his body, blood spraying all over his face and clothes.
"You don’t know anything and yet you played along with his sick ga. You-all are the sa, and you deserve nothing but death." He spat.
