"Hey Jack, what's going on?" Jonathan asked with one of his hand wrapped around Wendy's waist.
"Nothing much. It is just that there is sothing that is to be dealt with. But, that is sothing that can be dealt with tomorrow, as for now, we can continue with what we were doing before." Jack shrugged his shoulder as he replied.
Jonathan looked at him, and he could tell that, Jack was not intending to talk about the matter for now. Anyway, Jonathan wasn't willing to pursue the matter considering that, today was supposed to be a happy event, so, he was not going to ruin the mood.
After the group went back to the private room that had been set aside for the preparation of the birthday party, they indulged themselves in drinking and eating.
Nevertheless, due to the event that had occurred outside, the mood was not as cheerful as it was before. But still, Denali was able to enjoy herself, enjoying the company of the people that gave her warmth and peace.
After the party ended at around 11:30 in the night, the group finally began leaving. So of them had decided to stay within the Glaze hotel, considering that, they could not go to another province at such a ti.
As for Jack and Celine, the two of them did not stay in the Glaze hotel. Instead, they both went back towards the Villa. While they were on the road, Jack called Samantha, and inford her to return to the villa.
After about 30 minutes drive, Jack finally arrived back at his villa in Serenity Residential area. There, they found that soone that was already waiting for them.
After they got into the villa, Samantha finally began explaining to Jack in details what had happened.
It turned out that, Samantha had received information from soone that she trusted from the Stronghold. She was inford that a group of guardians from the Panthers organization had suddenly set out.
Due to the fact that they had done that without informing anybody else, by the ti that the other organizations present in the Stronghold reacted, they had already left the territory of the Stronghold.
Until that ti, they were not sure about the direction that these four Guardians had gone to. But of course, due to the friction between the butterfly organization and the Panthers organization, the inforr suspected that this group might have set out to search for Samantha.
At the end of the day, even though it was true that the two organizations were always colliding with each other from ti to ti, but, the friction between the two organizations had increased after the death of Erick.
Moreover, the leader of the butterfly organization had suddenly realized that, Samantha had left the organization without informing anybody. Additionally, since the Butterfly organization was ntioned before, then, that implied that, the Butterfly organization was the one that was involved.
Samantha had also realized the sa. So, she went and waited in the direction that Erick and herself had appeared from, during the ti that they were coming to Kartu city.
After waiting for a long while, she finally noticed the group of four. Even though they were inside a car, with the detection ability of the device that she was possessing, she was able to tell that the four of them had arrived.
Moreover, she also knew that they had already known that she was here. But, they did not make any move, considering that, they had just arrived. Moreover, from the looks of it, they had co over to complete the mission that had been left hanging by Erick.
Of course, the only reason that the five of them were able to tell each other's location was simply due to the fact that they had allowed for that to happen.
Otherwise, if any of them deactivated the tracking function, then, just like how it had been with Erick, they would not be able to tell each other's locations.
Although she knew that by coming back, this group of four might follow her, she was not worried at all. At the end of the day, there was a fact that, the person that they were looking for was actually Jack, and moreover, they would still end up eting with him.
As for Jack's capabilities, Samantha already knew that Jack was at the superhuman level. At the sa ti, she wondered why it was that during the ti that they were facing Jack for the first ti, they did not know sothing like that.
In the end, possessing a lot of questions without answers, Samantha could only relate it to the fact that, Jack was not willing to expose his full combat strength. But now that she had already signed the contract that she was going to serve him for a full year, then, that implied that, she could be trusted within this one year.
After Jack was inford of the details, and other information about the four people, he remained silent for a while. He was not worried about dealing with them, considering that, even Celine herself could deal with them.
The only problem that they would be facing will be the laser weapons that they possessed. With the laser weapons, they would be able to deal with Celine, putting her at a disadvantage.
Additionally, there was yet another thing that Jack was concerned about. And that was, that this group might actually decide to target another person other than himself. And if that happened, then, it would be a little problematic.
After thinking for a mont, Jack took out his laptop, and connected with all the surveillance caras that were present within the capital city. At the sa ti he also made sure that all those puppets that had been given to him, were well distributed amongst all the people that might be targeted.
Additionally, he ensured that, all those people that he cared about were all protected. He was not willing to risk their lives.
Of course, he was not worried about the fact that the puppets would be defeated. He had deployed at least five puppets in each location, to protect everyone that he cared about.
Considering the fact that each puppet was actually possessing the sa combat strength as Samantha, then that implied that, they possessed the sa combat strength as the four guardians.
Anyway, Jack was finally able to relax after confirming that the puppets had already arrived at their location. It was a good thing that everyone that he cared about was around the capital city.
At the sa ti, with the description that he received from Samantha, he was able to know where the four guardians were staying. So, he was able to keep an eye on them.
But of course, there was no way that he was not going to sleep simply because of this. So, he decided to set up a program that was going to inform him as long as this group of four people left the surrounding area.
After he was done with that, the group finally dispersed. Samantha went back to the room that she had been given by Jack inside this villa, while Celine also went back to her room.
As for Jack, after entering his room, he finally contacted the system. 'System, how long am I supposed to wait for you to tell that I have already completed the conditions that are required for the upgrade of my authority?' Jack asked impatiently in his mind.
[The host has to be patient. Additionally, the host has to be inford that, with the upgrade of your authority to the second level, there will be several changes that will be occurring.]
[Of course, the changes will not be guaranteed to be to the satisfaction of the host. But nonetheless, the host will have to bear with it.]
Hearing Angel's reply, Jack frowned a little. He didn't like how things were going now. From the system's words, it was obvious that, there were several changes that were going to be made with the upgrade.
And that implied that, the changes that were going to occur were not small at all. Otherwise, there was no need for him to be inford if there was nothing major that was going to change.
Even though Jack was a little tempted to go ahead and sell the shares of the companies that he owned, considering that there were very many people that were intending to buy the shares, to prevent the system from upgrading, but, that was just a passing thought.
Currently, it seed that the gains that he could get from the system had already reached their limit considering that, he was no longer going to be given any first inco reward with purchasing new companies.
And if that was the case, then, there was no way that he was going to increase his strength drastically. The only thing that he could increase currently was the skill slots. But, that was sothing that he needed to complete a mission, gain a skill, then earn inco using that skill, before he is given a new skill slot.
'How long is it going to take to complete the conditions?' Jack asked as he laid back on the bed.

Jack let out a sigh, before finally deciding to rest. There was no way that he was going to stay awake for 3 hours. Even though that was not sothing difficult for him to do after he had already beco a superhuman, but, he was not willing to abandon his normal lifestyle for no reason.
Well, even though it was true that there was a reason, he was not willing to do so if there was not any 'important' reason.
Without him noticing it, he had been asleep for 3 hours. Then, just as he was enjoying his sleep, dreaming of sothing beautiful, he was interrupted by a voice in his mind.
