"I would like to ask if you know sowhere professional basketball players play to get money." Jack stated.r
"Why are you looking for them?" Johnathan asked.r
"I need to stretch my muscles a little bit." Jack replied nonchalantly.r
"Stretch your muscles? Then what is the use of looking for those that are playing for money?" Johnathan was left speechless.r
"I'm not going to play if there are no enough benefits for ." Jack responded.r
"Ain't the benefit of playing to stretch your muscles?" Johnathan asked again.r
"That's right. But the money is for the paynt from the ones that are going to see my skills. I'm not going to display my skills for nothing." Jack continued.r
"What paynt are you talking about? Do you even have the skills to compete against professional players?" Johnathan snorted.r
"Why don't you try out and see if that's possible. You just need to find the place where I can show them off. But, the pay has to be sothing good, nothing lousy or I won't accept it." Jack said.r
"Humph! What right do you have to accept or refuse. You will have to go to the one that I would have found for you. I know that you can't find any of them as you are still new in Kartu city. In any case, I will look for the best players." Johnathan stated before ending the call.r
Jack was not going to tell Johnathan that he was actually having the intention of completing the system task that he was given over a week ago. He only had two days remaining before the task tiline that he was given ended.r
He wasn't willing to fail the task and neither did he want to taste the punishnt that ca with failure of completing the task. Although he really didn't care that much about the professional basketball skills, he still wasn't willing to lose the skill.r
Who knew when it would co in handy? So, he was going to make sure that he collected as many skills as the system had to offer. As for the tasks, he would be making sure to complete them as soon as possible.r
Had it not been for the fact that he was attacked and Celine got kidnapped by Collins and his lackeys, Jack would have made sure to complete the task when he was still In Volant city.r
Now, there was no use thinking much about it. He decided to go back to the hotel. There was only less than a week before the one month ended. Then, he would go to serenity residential area to live in the $695M luxury villa.r

His phone rang. Looking at the caller, Jack received it imdiately as he continued walking towards the office building of the company.r
"Hello Celine, how are you doing?" Jack greeted.r
"It's only when I call you that you rember to greet ?" Celine snorted. Since she went back ho, they had not t again. They only chatted three tis during the whole week and Celine was dissatisfied with the way that things were.r
She had been trying to hold back and wait for Jack to call her, but seeing that he wasn't, she decided to call him instead. She loved him and so, she was afraid that now that he was here in Kartu city, he might be seduced by several vixens.r
Although it was true that she had the best advantage, Jack hadn't confird to her anything and neither had he confessed that he loved her. But, she could at least tell that he really cared about her.r
The incident where he had made sure to hit Collins and his lackeys hard and had even broken their hands was a proof to that.r
Jack couldn't help but feel awkward. It was true that he could detect that he had so kind of feelings for her and the way that she was behaving, he could tell that she was into him.r
He wasn't dense enough not to notice sothing like that. But, he had yet to confirm his feeling for her. Additionally, if it was true that he loved her, he had to confirm with the envelope that his mother had left him. So, the situation was tricky.r
"Well, I'm sorry about that." Jack replied.r
"No excuses for that this ti?" Celine asked. Now, she was simply behaving like a wife who was questioning why her husband didn't sleep at ho the previous night.r
"I'm sorry about that. And it's true that I have no excuses. So, what about... I make it up to you?" Jack suggested. At the sa ti, he was screaming in his mind, 'You are not my wife, alright?'r
"That's good too. I was getting bored with the work in the office and I just asked my mom and she allowed to go out and leave the business matters to her for the mont." Celine accepted the suggestion happily.r
All the dissatisfaction that she was having not long ago imdiately vanished. Since Jack was willing to spend ti with her, how could she not be excited.r
And although she wasn't happy that Jack hadn't been talking to her lately, she knew that Jack wasn't free all the ti. Otherwise, why would he have co to Kartu city? He had to be dealing with sothing and that was the reason as to why he had failed to contact her.r
Well, that was just her thinking and imaginations. The truth was that Jack was still trying to maintain a certain distance from her. He had yet to confirm his feelings for her and neither did he know the contents of the envelope.r
Just in case the content of the envelope forbid him from being with her, how and what could he do? So, he decided that he would open the envelope after he was done with the issue concerning GVSL private team recruitnt.r
But now, he didn't think that it was bad to spend ti with her. The reason for this thought of his was because of the strange feeling towards Celine. Other than the unconfird ones, it was the strange familiarity that he could feel towards her.r
That was one of the reasons as to why he was angry back then during the banquet in Inchoate city. He had actually had an impulse to prevent any man from going any close to her. This was a very strange thing that he had yet to figure it out till now.r
"I'm going to play a ga today or tomorrow. It's yet to be confird. But, what do you think about accompanying . After that, we can go to wherever you suggest. This is your ho ground after all." Jack asked.r
"I'll be there. Once you confirm it, we can go. But if it's not confird, you might as well follow as I take you around." Celine replied enthusiastically.r
"Okay then. You can find in Cardinals Supre Hotel. How long will it take you to get there? Or, if you want, I might as well co and pick you up." Jack asked again.r
"There's no need for you to pick up. I'll be there in around forty minutes. I'm quite far after all." Celine said.r
"Alright. I'll be waiting for you." Jack responded before ending the call.r
At this mont, he had already arrived in front of the office building. He entered and went straight for Tracy's office.r
The mont that he entered, he found that she was busy on her computer. But when she noticed that he had entered, she set aside what she was doing and awaited his instructions.r
"There's a group of 219 that have just been selected by . They should be coming here tomorrow to start their training to join the private team. I hope that you can handle their recruitnt into the company." Jack said.r
"Yes boss. What about their contract?" Tracy nodded before asking.r
"Just offer them the sa contract as the one that Klein and the others have. Although they are rcenaries, they are still going to do the sa type of duties as Klein and his group. So, there's no need for them to be offered anything special." Jack stated.r
Tracy nodded in agreent. Having agreed on that, Jack was just about to leave when he suddenly rembered sothing.r
"Tracy, Livingstone will be bringing along so of his comrades either tomorrow or maybe later during the week. So, I hope that you can help him to give them positions as instructors as long as Denali approves of them." Jack stated.r
"Sure." Tracy agreed before watching as Jack left. She was trying to understand if it was true that Jack was actually the boss. After all, he only dared to agree to having soone working for him as long as Denali agreed.r
'Could Denali be the boss and she's just pretending to be a subordinate?' Tracy thought. After all, even she herself was allowed to stay only after Denali nodded her head.r
Another example would be Livingstone. It was only after Denali had nodded her head that Jack offered Livingstone a chance of joining the team and to be healed.r
As her thoughts sank in, she couldn't help but wonder what was the truth. But in the end, she could only shake her head and forget about the matter. As long as she was working here, she didn't have to worry about things that didn't concern her at all.r
If Jack actually knew what she was thinking about, he would have actually gone to the system to complain. After all, it wasn't his fault that he wasn't given the option of selecting the skills. He could only be offered the skills randomly.r
Otherwise, he would have made sure to make himself overpowered. He would have gotten all the skills that he would have thought that were going to be useful to him.r

After leaving the company, Jack headed back to the hotel to wait for Celine to co. At the sa ti, he took his phone to ask Johnathan if it was possible to get the occasion where there was a ga already.r
He wasn't willing to risk it. He also told him that he didn't want the one that he would have to take days to move from a single stage to another before finally winning the money. He could even have a one on one against a player as long as he could earn money.r
With that out of the way, Jack only had to wait for about ten minutes before there was a knock on the door. Even without having to open it, Jack could tell that it was Celine as the ti that she had said that she would arrive was already almost going by.r
He got to his feet and went ahead to open the door.r
