Chapter 5: Chapter 5: Crazy Proposal
Was it the right decision for Claudia to marry a criminal? Actually, there was still a little hesitation about marrying Harry, because her heart was still in love with Linnon. However, if she didn't marry Harry, Harris' life would be in danger. According to the storyline of the novel she had read, if she married Harris, then Harris would end up dying just like Linnon. Therefore, the purpose of her wanting to marry Harry, apart from revenge, was to protect Harris in this world. She didn't want him to die twice in front of her.
Harry's reaction upon hearing this crazy proposal made him laugh sarcastically while shaking his head. "You're out of your mind. Have you lost your mind?"
"I really want to marry you, Harry!"
With an intense gaze, Harry touched Claudia's pointed chin. "What makes you want to marry
all of a sudden? Weren't you still in love with my sister this afternoon? Are you playing
now? Ha?"
Claudia smiled coquettishly, fingering Harry's chest gradually. "In hindsight, I'm more attracted to you than Harris. Your face is very handso and I also like your brave and perfectionist personality."
"That's why you fall for
so easily, when all this ti you've been avoiding
as if I were trash in your eyes?"
"Who says I consider you trash? I've been avoiding you because...."
Harry touched Claudia's shoulders with both hands. "Because of what? Because I'm cruel according to the rumors from my sister?"
"Because... your face is too handso. I was worried that my heart would turn to you and it turned out to be true when faced with you. Just because of your face, I already fell in love with you."
He felt like vomiting his entire stomach listening to Claudia's answer. Harry still felt that Claudia was playing tricks on him. Although he had hardly ever t Claudia during this ti, he was very familiar with Claudia's character who was always loyal to only one person. It was impossible for Claudia to suddenly betray Harris, unless Harris suddenly did sothing bad in front of Claudia.
"Then, if I were to accept your proposal, what would you say to Harris? Are you going to dump him outright?"
Actually, this was sothing Claudia hadn't thought of yet. Dumping Harris suddenly without any logical reason was the thing she feared the most. What should she say when she confronts Harris later? Would she tell him the truth that she would die if she married him?
Claudia looked away as she put the diamond ring back into her mini bag. "You don't need to know what I'm going to say. You definitely don't need to interfere."

The business of proposing to Harry was done, now all that remained was to cancel the engagent with Harris. Claudia asked to et at the park where they t yesterday. Claudia's eyes glazed over at Harris's dashing appearance today, still not ready to say such painful words to get Harris to agree to cancel this engagent.
"Harris, I actually asked you to et today, not for a date. But, I have sothing important to tell you."
Claudia took off the diamond ring on her ring finger, then gave it to Harris with a cruel look. "I'm going to cancel our engagent."
Hearing his fiancée break off the engagent suddenly shocked Harris so much that his chest ached as if he had been pierced by a poisonous thorn. Cold sweat began to pour down his face, slowly his eyes looked at his fiancée's eyes turning red as if he was angry.
"Why... do you suddenly want to cancel the engagent? Did I do sothing wrong to you?"
Claudia shook her head. "No, you didn't. You have loved
sincerely all this ti. But, I still can't marry you."
"Tell , what should I do so that you won't cancel this engagent?"
"To be completely honest, my heart is still not ready to accept you. If I still don't love you, why continue with the marriage."
Harris's tears fell on the table. "Haven't you been... very fond of ? Why did you change your mind so suddenly?"
In a haughty manner, Claudia turned the teacup clockwise. "Ever since the three of us t yesterday, I've realized who my heart is really for." She took a sip of tea. "I want to marry your brother, Harris."
Harris choked as he took a sip of tea that splashed everywhere. "What? You want to marry my brother who's more concerned about work?"
"If you look at it, his personality suits
better than yours. Besides, he seems more attractive. Our conversation yesterday, I can judge that. I think he's more suitable to be my husband."
"Don't just talk, Claudia! You're lying!"
Claudia hit the table as she got up from the chair. "Did you forget that we got married for business? You have no right to stop
from choosing another life partner!"
"I have the right because I'm your future husband!" Harris burst into tears while clenching his hands into fists. "Why are you acting like this? Is it because in your eyes, I'm still inferior to my brother?"

After the eting with Harris, Claudia burst into tears as she walked to the lobby of the residence. Expecting Harris to be hurt by this bad news, she was even more hurt. It could be said that this was the first ti she had hurt her husband's feelings, even though Harris was not actually her husband, just a similar face. Had she not gone on that stupid mission, she would still want to marry Harris. What if she broke the rules? Would she really be trapped inside Claudia's body forever?
At the sa ti, she happened to bump into Harry who was walking with his assistant. Claudia wanted to pretend to be tough in front of Harry, but she couldn't cover this up. Even Harry laughed at her from a distance.
"What a crybaby." Harry whispered with his assistant briefly to leave her for a mont and take care of work for a while.
Claudia wiped the tears with a handkerchief, then walked quickly to Harry standing alone. "Take
to your room."
