Chapter 4: Chapter 4: eting with The Duke

What kind of fate is this? Why did Claudia have to deal with that assassin again? Just seeing that handso face made her want to vomit all over her stomach. Was her decision wrong to hold this eting too soon? However, if she had not been confronted by Duke Harry, until now she would not have known this world antagonist was a real world antagonist.

Her lips kept trembling as she looked at the smile Duke Harry was showing as if she was mocking him. It was quite disgusting to stare at that smile during the last seconds before she drowned.

"My Lady, what's wrong with you, are you ill?" Harris anxiously touched Claudia's sweaty forehead.

Claudia shook her head softly as she touched the back of Harris' warm hand. A sweet smile was etched on her lips, finally able to feel the warmth of the hands of the man she loved after going through the storm of sorrow that destroyed her life.

"I'm not sick. I was just... missing you."

Harris smiled sweetly stroking Claudia's head gradually. "Even though we just t last night. You're so spoiled today."

Watching this sweet scene already made Harry very sick. He played with his lips left and right while scrunching his waist.

"Damn it, if you want to date, you shouldn't be so blatant in front of !" His eyes sharpened on Claudia. "So, now you called

here to show off your relationship? What a waste of ti!"

"No, I didn't. I wanted to see you too right now," Claudia retorted with a professional look on her face.

Now back to the main purpose of this awkward eting. Harry was especially curious about Claudia who had taken the initiative to invite him, even though Claudia was usually very reluctant to et him. What exactly was going through Claudia's mind at this ti? Seeing Claudia's style today shining in his eyes, made him even more curious about what kind of woman Claudia was until his sister fell in love excessively.

"By the way, why did you want to et

today? As you know, I'm quite busy today actually," Harry said haughtily crossing his legs.

Claudia poured Harry a cup of tea. "I will soon be a mber of your family. I want to get to know you better, Harry."

"Hearing you say that, I'm getting jealous," Harris cut in with a quirk of his lips.

Harry smiled sarcastically. "Is it true that you won't hate

after hearing everything I said today?"

With a confident look, Claudia took Harry's hand. "You're Harris' brother, I still like your attitude."

This woman's increasingly bold figure in front of him made him almost cough as he took a sip of tea. Sohow this woman's attraction in an instant made him more curious as well.

"You-"

"Is it hard to serve on a military base?"

"Not really. I've been trained since I was a child. Whether a bullet goes through my body, I'm not afraid."

Claudia nodded while taking a sip of tea. "No wonder so many noblewon are interested in you."

"So what if they all like ? Do you regret choosing my brother?"

"No, I don't. I still like your sister who has a similar attitude to ."

Harry laughed contentedly at Claudia's answer out loud. "You're very confident."

Harris put his arm around his brother's shoulders. "That's why, Claudia easily falls in love with . Whether you're handso or not, she prefers ."

"But, is it true that Claudia knows you better than anyone else? You've only t for half a year. It seems to

that soone who decides to date should first be friends for a year, then they can decide whether to date or not."

Hearing Harry's words, Claudia thought of sothing. I don't know why Harry's words at this ti were like the young man's words in the real world. Was there really sothing that Harris had been hiding all this ti without Claudia's knowledge? But, on the one hand, could Harry's words be trusted? Moreover, Harry is known as the most ruthless antagonist in this world.

After eting with the two duke brothers, Claudia returned to her residence to reflect on the results she got during the conversation. Seeing Harry's deanor, who looked like an ordinary person in front of her at this ti, Claudia did not suspect him yet. However, Harry's face is a murderer in the real world making her actually want to kill him directly earlier. Will she succeed in her mission to return to the real world?

Back to when Claudia first landed in this world. She was given a mission to conquer the heart of the novel's antagonist. Then, she was killed by Harry in the real world for no reason. In the real world you can't kill, can you avenge him in this world even though it's not the sa person? Was the server's intention a clue to tell him to enter the tiger's den?

After pondering for a while, Claudia now knew the answer. She imdiately dialed Harry's contact number, then had a brief conversation over the phone to ask to et face-to-face tonight at a secret place.

The evening had arrived, Claudia asked to et in a room in the palace library. She was actually a little nervous about doing so, worried that she would be caught red-handed by Harris. Moreover, as she rembered in the novel world, Harris was a possessive type of man and easily jealous too.

Inside the library, it was just the two of them talking in a dimly lit corner. With an intense gaze, Claudia extended her right palm to Harry.

"I have sothing to tell you in private."

"Can we hurry?" Harry's gaze fell on the expensive watch on his left wrist.

"Try opening my right palm!"

"What is it?"

"Just open it quickly, aren't you the impatient one?"

When Harry opened Claudia's palm, a diamond ring shone.

"Harry, I want to cancel the engagent with Harris."

Harry rounded his eyes. "What? Are you crazy?"

"Want to hear sothing even crazier? I want to marry you."
