Chapter 48: Chapter 48: Survivor

Was the gunshot aid at Claudia? In a desperate kneeling position, Claudia was still breathing. Her hands were still covering her ears and her eyes were closed. Don’t dare to look at the current situation, what is really happening. What happened to one of the rebel soldiers who wanted to shoot her? Is it really dead?

When she opened her eyes slowly, her vision vaguely saw a teenage boy holding a gun standing in front of her. Then, her eyes shifted to look at the dead rebel soldier. Her mouth was agape, looking at the figure of the hero who saved her at this ti made her very happy and grateful.

Claudia was curious about the teenage boy’s face. When she wanted to look more closely at her face, the man covered Claudia’s eyes with the palm of his hand.

"Don’t open your eyes yet," suggested the teenage boy gently.

"Then how can I walk if I can’t see?"

"Just follow my instructions. You will definitely survive!"

"I’m not in the mood to joke! If my life gets worse, you will be responsible!"

There was a confident smile on the teenage boy’s lips. "I will be responsible, that’s why, don’t be afraid and just follow ."

Thanks to the guidance from the teenage boy, Claudia no longer felt afraid. Walking nimbly following the teenage boy’s words, even though the sound of a gunshot was very disturbing. She knew that the teenage boy was killing all the rebels with his trusty gun.

"Don’t be afraid, little girl! I purposely told you to close your eyes because you are just a little girl."

"So what if I’m a little girl?"

"Because little girls don’t deserve to witness these scary incidents. I don’t want today’s incident to be seared into your mind, causing trauma that will last forever."

Just hearing those simple words made Claudia show a faint smile. Her hand still held the teenage boy’s hand tightly. Even though she didn’t know what was happening at the mont, she only heard the sound of the teenager’s weak breathing as if she was enduring the pain of protecting her from attacks by the rebel soldiers.

After Claudia told Harry the story of her childhood, she was actually still curious about who her savior was at that ti. Suddenly a teenage boy saved her in the midst of a rebellion, actually she wanted to be good friends with the teenage boy. Because in this world it is very rare to find a hero like this teenage boy. Moreover, the teenage boy’s words were still ringing in her mind. How is the teenage boy doing now? Is it still alive now? Is he married and have a family now?

"That’s the reason I suddenly behaved strangely. "The man in the restaurant earlier was one of the rebel soldiers who managed to escape the incident," said Claudia.

Harry smiled when he heard the story of his wife’s childhood. His right hand spontaneously stroked the tiny head slowly. "You should thank that boy for saving you."

Rembering the boy’s heroic actions, Claudia’s cheeks turned red. "I still wonder to this day who my real hero is."

"Why are you so curious about him? Did he not show his face to you until the end?"

Claudia exhaled weakly. "When I opened my eyes, he was gone. I looked for it everywhere, but until now I couldn’t find it. Maybe because I don’t know his face. At that ti I should have seen his face, even if only briefly."

"If you knew his face, what would you do?"

"I will be good friends with him. If our relationship gets closer, I want to be his lover and marry him."

Hearing his wife’s desire to marry another man openly in front of him, the fire of jealousy burned in his body. The first ti he felt jealousy made his body sweat. However, on the one hand, his face still looked relaxed as if he didn’t mind it.

"So, your first love is that man. Not ?" Harry shouted with narrowed eyes.

Claudia laughed gracefully while stroking her husband’s cheek. "Are you jealous?"

Harry looked away with reddened cheeks. "I’m not jealous, but I’m angry because you can tell other n when we’re married."

"In essence, I am very grateful to that man until now. If I et him one day, I will repay him."

"It seems like that man doesn’t need you to return his services," said Harry with a faint smile.

"How did you know?" Claudia folded her arms. "Don’t make it up, okay? I know you’re jealous."

"Who made that up! Have you forgotten that I’m a perfectionist? Why would I waste my ti and energy playing with you?"

Today Claudia decided to rest at her residence all day until her condition stabilized. anwhile Harry returned to the palace to continue his pending work. What was in her mory earlier, the teenage boy’s attitude was very familiar to her. Claudia felt that the teenage boy was similar to soone. All this ti, he has always defended her and protected her from any threats.

Is that teenage boy Harris? Considering that Harris is very skilled at using firearms, was it true that Harris was the one who saved him in the past? Right now, it feels like Claudia wants to et Harris to discuss this. Harris always hides many secrets. Are the heroic actions he perford in the past also Harris’ biggest secret? It’s a sha that until Linnon wrote the last Chapter, it was still not revealed who saved Claudia at that ti. That is the main reason Tiara thinks this novel is not of good quality because it discusses too much of the romance of the main character.

drrt...drrt...

It was very coincidental that Harris contacted him now. Claudia imdiately answered the phone call from Harris with a happy smile.

"Harris, what are you doing now?" Claudia asked enthusiastically.

"Why did you sound so excited when I contacted you?" Harris’ voice sounded confused.

"I just... wanted to talk to you. If you’re busy, we can et another ti."

"No need. I really want to et you too. We haven’t talked in a long ti."

"Then, where should we et later?"
