Chapter 152: Chapter 152: Sadness Part II

The young man who interrupted the won’s conversation was Claudia’s ex-boyfriend. Seeing that her ex’s face was still shining even though she was in a sad mood, Claudia didn’t want to fight. She even welcod her ex’s arrival with a friendly smile. anwhile, the mbers of the Scarlet Community imdiately left their friends quickly, even though they felt very awkward watching their friends interact alone with their ex.

"Thank you for coming, Harris."

"Actually, I am still very shocked to hear this news suddenly. When I was playing golf with my friends, I almost fainted." Harris exhaled deeply. "I rember your mother treating

like her own child. She often cooks delicious food for

every ti I visit her."

"Yes, because she really loves you. You also often cheer her up."

Harris hugged Claudia’s body tightly, making Claudia’s eyes widen. She was worried that her husband would burn with jealousy even though she was in a state of sadness. However, for now she couldn’t do anything other than accept a hug from Harris.

"Don’t be angry that I hugged you suddenly," whispered Harris quietly.

"I won’t be angry because you are my brother-in-law."

"You wouldn’t be afraid to see

and Harry fighting over this issue?"

"Harry definitely wouldn’t act childish at a ti like this. I know him very well. He will definitely give

freedom."

Harris patted his ex’s back rhythmically. "Then, let

hold you until you feel calm."

"But, I’m sorry, Harris. Even though you hugged

for a long ti, I still couldn’t calm down. Harry is the only one who can calm

down."

"He is still busy welcoming the arrival of guests. He won’t be able to take the ti to calm you down." Harris’ eyes focused on Harry who was still talking with King Godfrey.

Actually, from Harry’s side, he was resigned to seeing his wife being hugged by Harris while he was still talking to King Godfrey. As a result, he felt uneasy seeing his wife with his ex-girlfriend, he beca unfocused.

"Duke Harry?" Godfrey waved his hand in front of the Duke.

Harry responded by looking down. "I’m sorry, Your Majesty."

"It looks like you’re not focused because you’re tired of taking care of everything. Surely you are still not willing to let your in-laws go."

Harry nodded. "Even though they are not my biological parents, I already consider them to be my parents. Moreover, my mother-in-law treats

as a human. My mother-in-law’s character is very similar to my biological mother."

"For now I’m allowing you to take ti off work until your wife calms down." Godfrey’s eyes fell on Claudia, who was still being hugged by Harris. "I know she only has you right now. Even though you’re a very stiff type of guy, you have to cheer her up, Harry. In fact, when I talked to her for a mont, she seed distraught. Being the duke doesn’t an you have to always be cold to your wife."

"Should I take another day off?"

"Don’t think of

as a cruel king. You should also take a long rest after you prepare for the funeral ceremony."

Back again at Claudia’s side who was a little calr thanks to Harris’ hug. She let go of the hug slowly before her husband really caught fire with jealousy.

"Thank you, Harris. I didn’t expect you to still care about

at a ti like this."

"If you feel tired, let

replace you now. You should rest, Claudia. Don’t push yourself too hard."

Claudia shook her head. "Thank you for your concern, but I can do it. As long as I have Harry by my side, I feel calm."

"But, actually I still feel strange. Your parents’ death was too sudden for . Then, this accident was concluded as a hit-and-run accident because the truck driver was not found. I think it’s very unreasonable."

"This matter is for

and Harry to investigate. You don’t need to interfere."

Harris patted Claudia’s shoulder. "If you need help, you can call . It’s impossible for Harry to want to serve you 24 hours a day when he has his own busy schedule."

After talking with Harris for a long ti, Claudia was finally able to rest for a mont, entering an executive room to vent the tears she had been holding back since welcoming the guests. With her body limp and head lowered, she felt like a bomb was about to explode. She didn’t really expect her husband to serve her at this ti because he was still too busy being professional.

However, what she imagined now was very different from reality. The figure of her handso husband entered this room carrying a large tray containing various side dishes, fruit, vitamins, rice, milk, and juice. Even though her husband really cared about her at the mont, she still couldn’t hide her sadness. In fact, looking at her husband’s handso face made her cry even more.

On Harry’s side, seeing his wife crying loudly since his arrival made him panic even more. He imdiately put a large tray on the table and then hugged his wife’s body with great affection.

"Claudia."

"Hold

tighter, Harry."

Harry obeyed his wife’s wishes. He tightened his embrace and pressed his lips to the top of his wife’s head. "I will obey you, but you have to eat. You haven’t eaten for hours and just cried."

"You will definitely scold

because I look weak in your eyes, right? Be angry with , Harry. Don’t you hate having a weak wife?"

"There’s no way I can scold you because you cry all day! I actually want to let you cry as much as you like. Because I felt the sa way when I was little!"

"Then, why have you been silent since we visited the accident site? You dare to talk only about funeral matters. The rest seems like you don’t care about . You keep quiet."

"Because I let you vent your sorrow freely. I’m afraid that the words I say will hurt your feelings. I’m still not used to comforting soone in a sad situation."

"Then you want to hear my story? I only dared to tell you because this is one of my secrets."
