The power of the Tailed Beast Bomb is hard to compare. Let’s put it this way, a Tailed Beast Bomb the size of half of Kurama could wipe out everyone in the Fourth Great Ninja War. Two could blow up the entire final battlefield.
In the original story, if Naruto hadn’t controlled the Tailed Beast Bomb to hit the opponent’s Tailed Beast Bomb from below, causing both to explode in the sky, the entire final battlefield would have beco a huge crater.
Everyone except the four Edo Tensei Jinchuriki, Perfect Jinchuriki Naruto, Perfect Jinchuriki Killer Bee, and Kamui-using Obito would have died.
That’s how terrifying it is.
Now, the Tailed Beast Bomb had grown larger than Naruto’s head, almost a third of his body. If it kept growing, larger than Naruto himself, even if released here, the explosion would flatten half of Konohagakure.
Naruto: "..."
His smile froze, and he was stunned: "Kurama, why didn’t you say so earlier!"
Kurama shrugged: "I didn’t know you were so straightforward. I suggest you fire it now. If you don’t, it will really affect Konohagakure."
The Tailed Beast Bomb’s power was already ford. A head-sized one could destroy Shukaku. One the size of a Rasengan could damage half of Shukaku’s body. But who knew Naruto would be so straightforward, trying to make such a big Tailed Beast Bomb.
Hearing Kurama’s words, Naruto stopped gathering chakra and halted the output. As the purple Tailed Beast Bomb ford, Naruto took a deep breath: "Boss, I can’t aim well in my current state. Help aim at that guy, and I’ll fire."
The big toad’s skin prickled: "Didn’t you say you wouldn’t miss?"
Naruto smiled awkwardly: "That’s why I need your help."
The big toad: "..."
Alright, let’s give the opponent a big one. This Tailed Beast Bomb shouldn’t affect Konohagakure. The big toad thought for a mont and then adjusted his position to help Naruto aim.
In the distance, Gaara felt his hair stand on end, like a human being stared at by a beast. He didn’t know what he was facing, but he instinctively chose to defend.
A giant sand figure in the shape of Shukaku rose from the ground, shielding the fully transford Gaara behind it. This was Gaara’s strongest defense, the Shield of Shukaku.
However, the feeling of trembling did not decrease at all.
The sand under his feet gathered, forming a huge sand ball that enveloped the transford Gaara. Walls of sand rose between Gaara and Naruto, creating multiple layers of sand barriers.
Seeing Gaara’s defensive stance, Naruto remained calm, but Kakashi and his group looked worried.
Asuma turned to Kakashi, his cigarette trembling: "Kakashi, I think we should make a defense wall."
They were far from the battlefield, on its edge, with Konohagakure behind them. Gaara’s defensive stance showed that Naruto’s Tailed Beast Bomb was more powerful than they imagined.
Kakashi didn’t hesitate. He nodded and ford hand seals, his Sharingan spinning: "Earth Release: Multiple Earth-Style Wall!"
At this mont, Kakashi didn’t have ti to carve dog heads on the walls; he just needed to create them.
Seeing Kakashi nod, Asuma also ford hand seals without hesitation: "Wind Release: Multiple Wind-Style Wall!"
Kurenai awkwardly scratched her head and hesitated before moving behind Asuma. She was a Genjutsu ninja and didn’t know defensive Ninjutsu.
Beside them, Sasuke’s Sharingan spun, and he copied Kakashi’s hand seals almost simultaneously: "Earth Release: Multiple Earth-Style Wall!"
Kakashi’s walls were neatly arranged like giant bricks, while Sasuke’s were rougher, but they were still walls.
Kakashi and Asuma stepped forward, shielding Sasuke and Shikamaru. As for Temari, she was still an enemy.
As if waiting for everyone to be ready, a whistling sound suddenly ca from afar. They knew the Tailed Beast Bomb had been fired...
The multiple sand walls couldn’t stop the Tailed Beast Bomb. They shattered on contact, and the Shield of Shukaku barely held it back. But cracks appeared on the shield, and it wouldn’t last long.
Seeing the Shield of Shukaku about to break, Naruto took a deep breath, his right hand clenching into a fist.
"Naruto, cancel the summoning," Kurama said seriously.
Naruto didn’t ask why.
He nodded heavily and looked at the big toad below him: "Boss, I’ll cancel the summoning for now. I might summon you again if needed!"
His voice was loud, and the big toad heard him. He hesitated, looking at the Tailed Beast Bomb about to explode. He thought that even if he withstood the blast, the summoning would likely be canceled, and he might get hurt. It was better to cancel it now and wait for Naruto to summon him again.
Thinking this, the big toad nodded: "Be careful, don’t get killed by your own attack."
"Poof..." The big toad disappeared in a puff of smoke.
"Crack!" The Shield of Shukaku shattered.
Boom!!!
At that mont, everyone saw the light, like when you used to shine a flashlight at the TV with hope. The light gathered and ford a dazzling giant on the horizon, and then...
Blinded everyone!
Kakashi and Sasuke imdiately covered their eyes. Kakashi was better off since only one Sharingan could see the chakra light, but Sasuke was confused. He just wanted to see how powerful the Tailed Beast Bomb was, but instead, he got blinded.
Both of them covered their eyes.
If Kurama hadn’t told Naruto to close his eyes, he would have been blinded too.
But that wasn’t the main point. Kurama, eyes wide open, looked outside. He wouldn’t be blinded by the Tailed Beast Bomb’s light: "Naruto, the shockwave is coming. I’ll give you enough chakra to withstand it, reaching the strength of three or even four tails. You need to stay calm and get through those few seconds."
Naruto was too close to the explosion. The Tailed Beast Bomb had too much chakra, and the two-tailed cloak might not withstand the shockwave. So Kurama planned to give more chakra to help Naruto get through it. It wouldn’t take long, just a few seconds to withstand the strongest shockwave. The two-tailed chakra would be enough for the rest.
During this ti, Naruto needed to keep his mind from being affected by negative emotions.
"No problem!" Naruto ford hand seals to encourage himself. He closed his eyes, focusing entirely on resisting the negative emotions in Kurama’s chakra.
"It’s coming!" Kurama shouted, and chakra flowed through the seal, turning into a bright red cloak that enveloped Naruto.
The third tail ford instantly, swaying behind Naruto.
