Chapter 595: Chapter 594

Keira Olsen’s eyes sparkled slightly.

She suppressed the fervor in her heart and focused on Vera South, waiting for her response.

Vera South smiled and suddenly pointed to her own chest: “Right here.”

Keira Olsen: ?

It was then that she realized she had been played and imdiately looked at her angrily: “Vera South, we had an agreent, you’d lose and tell the truth!”

“Who had an agreent with you.” Vera South smiled: “Besides, who said I lost?”

Just as she said this, soone knocked on the interrogation room door, and imdiately after Holly Sims’s voice was heard: “Kiera, open the door.”

Keira Olsen imdiately stood up and walked to the door.

After opening the door, she was t with Holly Sims’s troubled expression, who said directly: “Vera South’s lawyer has co, they’ve arranged bail pending trial.”

Keira Olsen frowned: “Can she be bailed out under these circumstances? Don’t we have solid evidence?”

Holly Sims took a deep breath and then presented so proof provided by the lawyer.

When the Special Division arrested Vera South, they judged her to be the nurse who only had direct contact with Susan Simpson, Susan had recorded their every call timing and conversation log.

At that ti, it was confird that Vera South was on another call, and Susan directly ID’d Vera South as the “Fox”, which they considered conclusive evidence before making the arrest.

But now, the lawyer provided proof that when Susan was on the call with the other party, Vera South was not in communication.

For example, in the previous instances, while Susan and the Fox were on a call, Vera South was shopping at the mall, with mall security footage as evidence; the mont the Fox was speaking, Vera South was not talking to anyone.

All these indicated…

Vera South stood up calmly, smiling at Keira Olsen: “Keera, I’ve told you, I’m not the murderer known as the Fox; you’ve really wronged .”

She spread her hands, showing an indifferent attitude.

Seeing this, Keira Olsen’s fists tightened, “If it isn’t you, then who is it?”

“Who knows?”

Vera South smiled, “Maybe it’s , maybe it’s her, or maybe it’s even you? I indeed have an alibi, so, can you let go now?”

Her deanor was arrogant and unrestrained.

Keira Olsen remained silent, and Holly Sims took a deep breath and took a step forward to unlock Vera South’s handcuffs.

Vera South ca over, looked at Holly Sims, and sneered, “I will sue you for wrongful arrest. Just wait to be disciplined!”

Holly Sims sneered back: “I will take responsibility for my actions.”

Vera South clicked her tongue twice, then laughed: “Seeing you like this, are you very confident in yourself?”

Holly Sims did not reply.

Vera South then turned to Keira Olsen: “Rabbit, did you really think I would be exposed so easily? You’re too naive to win against ! In this battlefield of Crera, the ultimate victor will be none other than !”

“Once the Martin family’s DNA test results co out tomorrow, you will be utterly defeated. And as for the poison your father ingested…”

Vera South turned her head and suddenly laughed: “If you had lost and co to beg , maybe I would have given you the antidote, but since you did this, well, I can’t wait to see you cry.”

As she said these last words, her face turned sinister and ominous, her eyes filled with ruthless cruelty.

Keira Olsen seed infuriated, her face altering drastically.

Vera South, seeing this, arrogantly lifted her head and walked out.

The anger on Holly Sims and Keira Olsen’s faces subtly cald down after she left. Holly Sims looked towards Keira Olsen: “Didn’t expect she really wasn’t the Fox.”

Keira Olsen also nodded.

She had always felt that the person called the Fox acted with hidden sches, never confronting others directly, but always using people.

But Vera South’s conduct was very domineering and arrogant.

Especially at the Martin family’s engagent party, her undisguised triumph made Keira Olsen feel that the Fox would not be so impatient.

They couldn’t investigate Vera South’s every move, but Keira Olsen had deliberately used Susan Simpson’s testimony to set Vera South up as the Fox.

If Vera South wanted to get out, she had to prove she wasn’t the Fox…

If she really was the Fox, she would be detained here.

If she wasn’t the Fox, then of course the Fox must be soone else, which also served as a test.

As per her intuition, Vera South was indeed not the Fox.

But if Vera South wasn’t the Fox, then why would she impersonate the Fox? And Susan Simpson firmly identified the Fox as Vera South…

Was the Fox and Vera South working together?

Or even that the Fox was Vera South’s superior?

It didn’t seem likely…

After all, like herself, the Fox had also been tasked with marrying into the Martin family; if Vera South wasn’t the Fox, the real Fox would surely try to find a way to marry Scott Martin.

But so far, only Vera South was competing for it.

Keira Olsen pondered for a mont but couldn’t figure it out, so she simply stopped thinking and turned to Holly Sims: “Will this cause you any trouble?”

Holly Sims spoke: “Don’t worry, a word from my father, and it’ll be fine.”

Keira Olsen then sighed in relief.

Both Holly Sims’s parents were forensic scientists, and Holly Sims’s goal from childhood was also to be a forensic scientist, but Keira Olsen knew her family background was complicated.

It seed Holly Sims’s grandfather was quite formidable…

That’s why she had asked Holly Sims for help.

Just as Keira Olsen thought of this, she saw Holly Sims’s expression turn serious as she looked straight at her: “Kiera, I really found so information about the South Family in the archives.”

Keira Olsen’s pupils contracted: “What did you find?”
