He was still unaware of what happened last night; that morning, when he tried to call Boss Dawson, he found the phone switched off and unreachable.
After further inquiry from the hotel staff, he discovered that Mary hadn’t been with Boss Dawson last night at all!
His niece was really playing both sides!

Wayne scoffed, “I’m here, of course, to see how my dear niece intends to mix personal gain with public duty here!”

Kiera then spoke coolly, “Are you sure you want to enforce the terms of the contract strictly? I rember one clause that states if we breach the contract, Davis Corporation shall cease any further collaboration with us, correct?”
Wayne sneered, “Of course, Davis Corporation isn’t foolish enough to collaborate with a small, unreliable company like yours again! You better think about how to repay the twenty million first. I heard your husband has even divorced you? Heh.”
“My private affairs are none of your concern.”
