"Why haven’t any cute girls approached yet?"
Chu Feng slumped into a seat in the convention’s rest area, looking glum. He had been wandering around in his cosplay for ages, hoping to catch the attention of so girls. But instead of being approached by girls, he’d ended up fending off a bunch of strange older n who kept asking if he wanted to take photos… or sothing even weirder.
"Take photos? With you? Heck no! I’m a full-fledged man, thank you very much. Believe it or not, I bet I’m more of a man than most of the guys here!" Chu Feng thought, silently fuming.
He’d finally managed to shake off the crowd of creeps but discovered his feet were killing him. His character wore high heels, and although he was a seasoned cross-dresser and no stranger to wearing heels, this ti was different. The heels he’d bought online for this cosplay turned out to be a size too small. He’d thought he could manage, but after running all over the convention to escape his unwanted fans, he realized just how much he was suffering.
Sigh…
Reflecting on his exhausting morning, Chu Feng felt his spirits sink even lower. A little sympathy from a cute girl would be so welco right now.
Just as he was massaging his aching feet, a beautiful, mature woman sat down beside him.
"Hey there, little miss. Why so glum?"
Qian Xu watched Chu Feng with interest. He had been fending off people all morning and finally found soone who fit his type—a lovely young "lady" with a perfect figure and a face as cute as a doll. Most importantly, she was flat-chested, his favorite.
If it wouldn’t blow his cover, he would’ve yelled, "Long live flat chests!" Right then and there.
Hearing soone speak to him, Chu Feng looked up and saw a gorgeous older woman with a bright smile, and his heart raced. Though she wasn’t particularly well-endowed, her stunning face and tall, enticing figure made up for it. And finally, a cute girl was talking to him!
"N-Nothing really… I’m just a bit tired from all the walking," Chu Feng stamred, his cheeks turning pink.
Qian Xu took a closer look at Chu Feng’s outfit and smiled knowingly. "Oh~ You’re cosplaying as Biliko, the main character from Forest Fairy, right?"
"Yes… Do you know Forest Fairy too?"
Qian Xu chuckled, saying nothing.
Chu Feng suddenly realized that the woman’s dress was identical to his own, and he blushed with embarrassnt at his question.
"So, little miss, are you here at the convention all by yourself? A cute girl like you should have a boyfriend, no?"
Chu Feng quickly shook his head. "I-I don’t have a boyfriend! And what about you? Don’t you have a boyfriend?"
"Unfortunately, no. I’m single," Qian Xu replied with a wistful expression, though he thought to himself, I’m a grown man—how could I possibly have a boyfriend?
"Perfect! Neither of us has a boyfriend. Ti to make my move!" they both thought in unison, though each was unaware of the other’s intentions.
"So, how about we walk around together? It’d be nice to have so company."
"Sure, that sounds great!"

"Kukuku~ My fifth apostle, the omnipotent witch! And my fourth apostle, the flat—ahem!—the infinite witch. To think we’d cross paths here! Mwahahaha!"
Ling Ning shot a deadpan look at the cosplay shop owner, who was clearly deep in her chūnibyō delusions. Turning to Chu ngyao, she asked, "So, is the shop closed today?"
Chu ngyao glanced at her colleague, who was enthusiastically role-playing, and replied, "Yep. She insisted on coming here, so we’re taking the day off. Might as well treat it as a little break."
"Looks like we’re interrupting your private little outing, aren’t we?"
"Not at all. I’ve already had to fend off countless people trying to take photos or ask for… favors," Chu ngyao said, shaking her head. She had originally planned to spend a relaxing day at the convention with her friend, but with all the attention they were getting, it was hard to enjoy themselves.
Ling Ning nodded, feeling the sa way—she’d had a similar experience.
While they were chatting, the shop owner, noticing Ling Ye’s adorable outfit, happily trotted over and began an animated “indoctrination” of her chūnibyō ways.
Though Ling Ye’s mom had warned her not to hang around the “disease-ridden lady,” Ling Ye couldn’t help but feel sympathy for her. The way the shop owner spoke was incredibly cool, like sothing straight out of an ani.
Bai Yiyue glanced at Chu ngyao and the shop owner, recognizing them from her last visit to the café. She didn’t know them well and didn’t particularly want to intrude.
Noticing there was little for her to contribute to the conversation, she shrugged and wandered over to a nearby vendor’s table. She wasn’t planning on buying anything but stopped in her tracks when she saw a USB drive shaped like a salted fish.
"What an adorable USB drive!"
"It’s a nice one, isn’t it? Only a hundred yuan. A great bargain!" the vendor said with a friendly smile. He had actually found the USB drive lying around near his stall and assud soone had dropped it. Figuring it was too cute to waste, he decided to sell it along with his other items.
Without a second thought, Bai Yiyue pulled out her wallet and bought the salted fish USB. She felt like it was fate—it was only a hundred yuan, after all, and it was too cute to pass up.
"Let’s go, Yiyue! Ti for lunch!" Ling Ning called.
"Coming~" Bai Yiyue replied, not noticing the tiny words "TOP SECRET" etched on the back of the USB drive.
