Chapter 1966: Chapter 1960: New Ancient City
The era is always moving forward amidst twists and turns…..at least that’s what Lu hopes for.
However, there are always so unlucky souls who get forgotten by ti, believing they have paid the “price of the era,” and they despise and even hate this era.
“….Forty years old, a war destroyed everything, now the new era is either AI drones or superhumans and magic potion. People like us aren’t even needed as laborers, those aliens are cheaper and more capable than us….”
Reality can be excessively cruel at tis, and faced with such a situation, not even Lu Ping’an, nor the officials of the Eastern Country, can offer a solution.
They can only continuously open up new jobs, striving to provide employnt…..but this life of assembling screws or wielding sledgehamrs at construction sites can’t be considered good, especially when they have their past happy lives as a comparison.
Most of them cannot transform, just like you can’t expect every elder to learn how to use a smartphone and chat or even work with it. So people’s first half of life has already been defined, and there’s no possibility for them to start anew.
Nostalgia for the past and anger at the present naturally lead to social instability…..

On Lu Ping’an’s end, perhaps only the “Peace Brand” directly involves the reputation of ordinary people, yet he did not expect nurous attacks on ground companies.

This doesn’t even count the various cults, manipulated brainwashing, and the incitent by ambitious people.
Once an evil incident occurs, the chain of hatred, hostility, and discrimination will keep happening….those with power will not willingly take hits.
Lu Ping’an’s attempt to steer clear of the waves is correct; no matter how absurd the current waves are, after ten or twenty years, they will calm down a lot.
The eliminated middle-aged ones beco powerless elders, while a new generation of adaptors becos the backbone and beneficiaries of the era, which proceeds and advances amid more twists…..

Lu Ping’an shrugged; he is an exceptional “Mortal Faction” within the extraordinary, but the closer he gets to mortals, as a deity, he likely needs to keep a greater distance…the correct way to express “love” is beneficial to both sides.

“Alright, if she has decided, just follow through.”
The biggest difference from the past is Lu Ping’an’s forces have practically taken over the Ancient city…..with its population swelling to seventeen million, along with the peripheral six outer district’s major industrial, educational, and cultural cities, it cannot be ignored easily.
This city will beco the ground base for Lu Ping’an’s force, being an “interstellar trade special zone,” it can trade directly with the Foreign Domain and enjoy a series of technical and fiscal supports….beyond rely financial advantages, nurous “abnormal technologies” can leverage developnt further.
For instance, an alien technology can directly found a factory in the Ancient city, where its output can trade with other areas on the surface, or bypass audits for direct trade with celestial kingdoms and the Foreign Domain.
Lu Ping’an plans to build an “Alien Biopark”…as the Life system industry hub, various dical, pharmaceutical, and biological industries can establish their headquarters in that area, with their products directly entering Lu Ping’an’s Linxin City for a second round of foreign trade.
By then, trade on the Star Ring won’t be monitored, selling to other countries or aliens is acceptable.
“Species conversion, the new Dragon descendants, apart from our own people, comrcial use should be handled by the officials, let them take the fall…..*cough* let them more thoroughly vet personnel qualifications, besides which we still have nurous products for sale.”
The re trait of a trading land can bring endless human traffic and wealth, while this key area of Ancient City sotis clashes with certain aspects of the Eastern Country.

Compared with other cities in the Changping State, Ancient City’s primary characteristic lies in its various Developnt Zones, featuring many foreigners.
This acted as the catalyst for its rise; Ancient City’s “Flying Boat” and “Shipbuilding” industries are already leading dostically, especially since Lu Ping’an secured nurous warship orders for it at present.
Other than shipbuilding and automobile manufacturing, let’s not ntion employnt as it maxes out the satisfaction brought along the upward industrial chain for citizens is trendously high…..while other regions beco abandoned by the era, Ancient City and its people continue their rare role as beneficiaries with extraordinary industries upgrading the city.
Simultaneously, Lu Ping’an’s “Trading Land” resides on the outskirts here, causing this area to naturally evolve into a significant dostic extraordinary gathering place.
This results in a substantial proportion of local Foreign Domain residents, and since the economic and employnt source originally stems from Foreign Domain, their acceptance of innovation and foreigners is rather high…
In this respect, gratitude is truly due to the past leadership of Ancient City for relentlessly promoting developnt’s significance, guiding outsiders’ ways of coexisting with locals.
