1812: Chapter 1808: Exotic Realm Capital City 1812: Chapter 1808: Exotic Realm Capital City The initial arrival did not cause much of a stir.

Lu Ping’an and his party chose an uninhabited area from their data, or in other words, a desolate wilderness where no one ventured.

This was to avoid causing trouble as much as possible.

The group was already prepared for a hard-fought battle, but upon their arrival, they discovered this was an overly affluent world.

“Delicious fruit the size of rugby balls hung from the branches, plump herbivorous beasts didn’t even bother to hide from people, and the streams were full of delicious aquatic life.

This place might not be suitable for filming wilderness survival; it’s more apt for wilderness cuisine…”

Lu Ping’an’s team, being the logistics team of the Life system, was actually prepared to shape an ecosystem from scratch.

They brought a large number of animal species, seeds, fertilizers, and veterinary dicines, originally planning to start farming from breeding, first setting up a botanical garden and greenhouse area to achieve self-sufficiency with various grains.

This was also customary, since food sources from a homogeneous world often mutate in the Exotic Realm, but by selecting suitable high-quality breeds, at least a few edible grain types could be developed.

They might not taste good, but they would fill the belly and wouldn’t kill you.

Next would be mass production, providing a minimum food choice for subsequent arrivals.

Of course, this only applied to the Extraordinary; even zero-order noobs vastly outperford mortals in terms of survival adaptability.

They also brought hundreds of bred pigs, cows, and sheep, planning to raise them locally; however, it seed entirely unnecessary.

“Delicious, this at, when grilled, is tougher than beef and more flavorful than pork.”

The seemingly enormous giant beasts unexpectedly had tasty at.

With just a little salt and seasoning, it was a feast.

Including the supply of wild at, natural resources were so abundant that breeding livestock seed entirely redundant.

Although this was good news for the overall Exotic Realm developnt, it could be bad news for Lu Ping’an’s team…

“With local edibles everywhere, who would buy our goods, who would buy our animal breeds…?”

The Beast Tar team was sowhat hit, feeling their value was challenged…

but soon more blows kept coming,

“The local beasts are not weak, and they are relatively easier to ta.

In fact, locals have already tad many war beasts.

We might not compare with them in this area.

I suggest that instead of randomly experinting here, we should directly learn the local techniques and curse techniques, and improve upon their achievents…”

Just like the last ti on the Green Planet, for the understaffed Exotic Realm explorers, readily tamable beasts were quite handy aides.

Lu Ping’an’s group did not rush into exploration, as that was not their main job.

A vast amount of materials and manpower were invested in building a new city, a dium-sized city expected to accommodate over a million people was under construction.

The sa war, the sa strategy, so were playing fast-action gas, so were engaged in souls-like gas with sudden deaths and single lives, others were playing logistical strategy managent, so were into strategic board gas, and yet others were into espionage or monopoly.

When the big trend takes shape, each person, each organization has its place in the overwhelming tide of the era.

Large organizations don’t lose money in Exotic Realm exploration because they are not simply engaging in seemingly enjoyable but truly life-and-luck betting adventure RPGs, but rather in hugely profitable scalper businesses selling water and shovels to gold miners.

“I don’t know if they made a profit, but I surely did.

Before coming into contact, I never thought it could be so profitable….”

Lu Ping’an truly joined the industry, and when distressed by the initial massive investnt, he was shocked by the expected returns.

Not to ntion returning the investnt in half a year, with luck, you could break even when the first batch of explorers arrived, and after that, it was pure profit.

It turned out that the absurd customs tax for Exotic Realm exploration wasn’t simply collected by the Eastern Country, as at least forty percent was taken by the cooperating Proper God Churches, and on a continual basis.

Moreover, this inco was quite stable and discreet.

Those Exotic Realm explorers incurred significant expenditures upon arrival.

These included residential consumption, the purchase of local dicines and materials, and the purchase of various special services, including but not limited to local Divine Grace, guide services, intelligence support, etc.

This was a benefit, but not free.

It can be said that holding the first landing point for Descenders and Explorers is equivalent to having those extrely wealthy individuals continuously consu.

And what kind of services could be provided to these compatriots all depended on the ability of early explorers; when more bases are established later, the more premium bases will attract more explorers, leading to more prosperity.

Lu Ping’an originally didn’t think much, assuming those Exotic Realm outposts were local assets, but in hindsight, weren’t they all industries of the major Proper God Churches?

These services were provided by local owners, and to take twenty percent of the total value with commissions and taxes was effortless; precisely this kind of steady trickle made no one notice.

This wasn’t all; after the Nirvana Plan was implented in the Eastern Country, those who brought back supplies from the explorers had to pay heavy taxes, part of which was shipping costs…

but the ships were also provided by the churches, and priority was given to their partner’s area.

Finally, when dividing the taxes, the exploring Proper God Church would also get a share.

“No wonder they stopped doing murderous businesses; this indeed is faster than robbery….”

Truly understanding all this, Lu Ping’an was enlightened.

Not to ntion, just setting up a bunch of their own craftsman shops and magic potion shops in the new city, purchasing materials brought by explorers, and then selling the finished products could generate massive inco.

No wonder the new era’s Proper God Churches stopped internal fighting and grabbing territories dostically.

Compared to the external revenue, the internal matters were trivial.

That was growth, and unlimited growth at that.

Not to ntion, if a large city cluster or even civilization is built long-term, once it’s truly accomplished, the final “taxpayers” won’t just be Earth Explorers; the Exotic Races incorporated into the Pan-Earth system would also beco part of the whole system.

“This is equivalent to outsourcing the governnt’s responsibilities to the Proper God Churches; their earnings depend entirely on them.

Um, it’s a bit like the Human Governor of the planetary colonies in the intergalactic immigration era……

Lu Ping’an cautiously avoided using the overly sensitive term “colony,” but essentially, there was no difference.

And such revenue and responsibility were not previously bearable for an individual or small and dium organizations.

Only those large churches endowed with divine authority by the Eastern Country had this qualification.

After all, in a certain sense, they also had to represent the Eastern Country, representing humanity to engage in exchanges with the Exotic Realm civilizations; being too incompetent wasn’t an option.

“It’s sowhat like a letter of marque….”

Another quite nuanced na; the “Human Governors” who obtained the franchise rights indeed began to manage their own territories.

This was a sure-win business…

whether the brave warriors profited or won against the Magic King was uncertain, but the weapon shop owners selling them weapons, the kings, and village chiefs issuing tasks to them were sure to profit, after all, if one didn’t succeed, there was always the next one.

Naturally, Lu Ping’an was busily engaged, while the first batch of local scattered explorers also began their journey.

Watching the warriors step out of the novice village, while he himself hadn’t taken a single step, Lu Ping’an’s mood grew increasingly complex.
