(Drakken’s POV)

[So Days Later]

"Are you finally doing it?" Riktor asked as we walked down the stairs, "Is it really happening?

I nodded, "Yea." I said as I had his greatsword leaning on my shoulder, "Yea, it’s finally happening, kiddo. With this, you can stop nagging ."

"I haven’t been nagging you." He muttered

We reached the bottom of the stairs, and I opened the door to a room in the Sub-Basent, a separate one that was not the one that I normally work in. Inside the dark room, there was a forge that was lit, the heat emanating from it hit in the face. Next to the forge there was a rack with several weapons it which were glowing hot.

"You have been nagging ." I said to Riktor, "But that’s neither here nor there. Today is the day your sword is reforged, and you can finally wield it. Once that happens, you can finally spar with while using it."

"With Sylas too, right?" He asked

"I would suggest you don’t do that." I said, "The last thing we all want is one of you hurting each other with actual bladed weapons. Unless you can handle it, that is."

"I can handle it...." He said with a serious frown

"Do as you please then." I said with a slight smirk

"M-My Lord." I heard a voice say

I turned to see Ceres standing next to the weapons rack, looking down. She wore a tattered dress while her hair was tied in a braid. The forr Red Priestess who was broken and turned into my servant, she was in charge, along with Jocelyn, of keeping my tools down here nice and tidy.

"What is it?" I asked

"The Forge is hot...." She gestured at it, not wanting to make eye-contact, "It is ready....."

Riktor looked at her, "What is up with her?"

"Nothing." I said as I walked over to the Forge, "You can leave us, Ceres."

"A-As you wish...." She said

"Before you go, I need you to go and tell Jocelyn that I expect to see her tonight." I said as I stood over the smoldering forge, "Be a dear and do that favor."

"Y-Yes....." She said with a soft tone

"Good girl." I said

After she left, Riktor walked up to , "Is it about to start?"

I nodded, "Yes." I said as I lifted my hand up slightly, "But I must tell you, Riktor.....this won’t be flashy. It will be quick and effective."

All of the weapons suddenly levitated in the air and slowly floated towards the forge, the heat making them glow even brighter. I then flicked my wrist, and all of them were plunged into it. a loud sizzling sound was heard as a wave of heat burst out.

"Ah...." Riktor said

"Using my War Sorcery, I crafted these weapons." I said, "Think of their steel born from my Calamity, my Ether. By lting them down and fusing them into Valyrian Steel, your sword will be far superior to anything else in this world. It will not be flashy....and while I did say it would be quick, well the actual reforging will be quick. We still need to wait for the steel to lt and purify.....and once both my steel and the Valyrian Steel are at proper temperatures, I will fuse them together and reforge your blade."

"That part will take a while."

*******************

The forge was set ablaze, flas rising up from it as I had my arm inside it, "Hm...." I said, "A few more seconds...."

I noticed Riktor was grimacing, "Father...." He said, "Do the flas not burn....."

"Nah." I said, "They’re quite warm."

"What....?" He said

I then pulled out a large crucible which had the molten steel inside it, which glowed bright white, "There you go." I said, "Now.....the mold...."

I walked over to the side, seeing that the mold was already set up. Without wasting ti, I carefully poured the molten steel into the mold, seeing it fill it up in no ti. Riktor was watching the entire ti as I did this, a focused look on his face.

I then shut the mold with its top half, and I placed my hand on it, letting out a yawn, "To speed the process up a bit." I explained, "I have to accelerate the cooling process, but at the sa ti, I have to do it quite carefully, otherwise the weapon will be damaged. Luckily, I developed a spell specifically for this process. It only takes three seconds.....watch."

The mold released a bright white light as it was covered in runes, and for three seconds, it pulsated brightly. a low hum was heard from it.

"What..." Riktor said, his eyes filled with awe

I then took my hand off the mold and opened it, seeing a finished steel blade which was steaming hot.

"There you go." I said as I snapped my finger and the handle of the sword suddenly appeared on it, "Ti for the finishing touches...the handle I will finish tinkering it at the end. But this...."

I grabbed the sword and walked over to a small tub of a clear liquid. I then plunged the blade into it, and the liquid released a cloud of steam as it began to boil.

"What is that?" He asked

"A certain liquid I developed myself." I said, "You see, my smithing processes are quite unorthodox. One ti, a Blacksmith that your uncle recruited once asked to help him make so weapons for an army, considering I have War Sorcery and all. I didn’t know the proper smithing techniques since I can create pristine weapons out of thin air, but I learned, with trial and error, how to forge and repair weapons in my own way. When seeing how I created a hundred swords this way, the guy berated , telling that I was insulting the smithing techniques with the way I did things...."

Riktor looked at , "Okay....."

"I killed him." I said with a smirk, "Right on the spot. I cut his head off. His apprentice, who was smart, told that my techniques were strange but effective, since my weapons were pretty good. I used my Sorcery to help boost the production of weapons and armor that were supplied to the armies we were backing."

"By Uncle....." He said, "Do you an Mother’s brother?"

I frowned, "No." I said, "I an my Brother."

"You have a brother?" He asked, "Why have I not t him before?"

I took the blade out of the liquid, seeing that it had been cleaned and was no longer as smoldering hot as it was.

"He’s not in this world." I said as I tossed the sword over, "There, it is done."

He raised his hands up, stopping the blade with his Telekinesis, "Ah!" He said, "Wait.....it doesn’t look that different...."

"Give it ti to settle." I said as I cleaned my hands with a rag, "I added so nice designs that will be noticeable after so ti. I will work on your handle and hilt later, if I do it now, the blade might get chipped."

"I see...." He said, "That was..."

"Anti-Climactic?" I asked, "Well...."

"I told you it won’t be flashy."
