(Drakken’s POV)

"If you wish to see in a different light, so be it." I told Saera, "But I will continue being the Drakken you know. Don’t you dare forget that."

"It is fine." She said softly as she reached for my hand, "I just.....I just did not know that you had gone through that."

I was sitting down on the couch between her and Maegelle, a few minutes after I had finished telling them of my past. I didn’t know how to feel about this, I did feel a bit good about it. Rembering those tis and speaking about it freely, I hadn’t done that in years. I don’t know when was the last ti I had ever thought of those experiences.

"Drakken..." Maegelle said softly, "I....I really don’t know what to say."

"You don’t have to say anything." I told her, "Moving on and pretending I said nothing would be fine."

"No, we cannot just pretend you said nothing!" She exclaid, "What happened to you, it’s....."

"Like I said, it happened so long ago that it might as well have been a different person." I told her, "Do you have any idea how many atrocities I have committed in my world? You have so idea of the shit I have done here, but what I’ve done to the people of this world pales in comparison to what I have done to those from mine. Do not pity , Maegelle. I don’t wa-"

"You are my husband!" She cut off, "Why can’t I show you so sympathy?!"

"Sister." Saera said, "Calm down."

"W-Why can’t I just look at you with so sympathy, Drakken?" Maegelle asked, her lips quivering, "I want to know why..."

"I am the last person one would want to show sympathy to." I said with a slight smirk, "I am not a good person, Maegelle."

"I don’t care." She said as she hugged , "I just don’t. You are my husband, Drakken.....I don’t care about what others think of you, I love you...."

"Hm...." I said as I felt the warmth of her body

"I...." Mya spoke up, "My Lord, I will be in the sub-basent, continuing our work."

I looked at her and nodded, "Sure."

She gave a slight smile before walking towards the door, saying nothing else.

Maegelle pulled away and wiped so tears from her eyes, "I cannot believe such things could happen to soone." she said as she sniffed, "Drakken....."

I heard Mya opening the door and suddenly, the sound of small and rapid footsteps were heard.

"Papa!!" I heard a loud and small voice

I turned my face around, "Huh-"

I was hit in the face by Astorias, who had flown towards , hugging my head as she pushed back.

"Astorias!" Saera exclaid

"Ahahahahaha!" Astorias’s laughter was heard, "Papa! Got you!"

I tried my best to pry her off, "A-Astorias....." I said as I looked at her, "What are you doing?"

"Hugging you." Astorias smiled

Her big and round red eyes were looking right at as she smiled brightly.

This girl.

She was quite the mischievous one.

I then felt soone tap my lap and I moved Astorias to the side, seeing that Vaella was in front of with a warm smile.

"Hey there, my beautiful girl." I said, a smile forming on my face, "What do you need?"

"I want to fly." She said

"Yes, papa!" Astorias climbed on and sat on my shoulders, smacking the top of my head, "Fly! Fly! Gray dragon, we fly! We destroy! We buuuurrrrnnnn!!"

Vaella frowned, "No....no burning...."

I sighed as I picked her up and sat her on my lap, "If you do not wish to burn anything, we will not." I said as I patted her head, "My Vaella, your eyes are so beautiful. As your Father, I am proud to gave you as my daughter!"

"Ehhhhhh?!" Astorias began to pull on my hair, ", Papa??? What about ?!"

She was smacking on my eye as I scowled.

"If you would stop hitting , then maybe I would feel the sa....." I muttered

"anie!" Astorias shouted

Maegelle chuckled, "Oh, Astorias." she said, "Your Papa loves you a lot, don’t worry."

Saera hugged my arm, "Of course he does." She said with a loving tone, "She is my daughter after all, and he loves lots~"

"Hm...." I said as Astorias pulled on my ear

"Papa, can we fly?" Vaella asked

I looked at her, "Of course, my dear." I said, "We will fly. Who do you want to ride on? Grayle? Or another one?"

"Big Grey!!" Astorias shouted, "We destroy lots!"

"No." Vaella shook her head, "I want soone else...."

"Who, dear?" I asked with a slight smile, "For you, I would do anything. Just say the word..."

"The Storm..." She said with a bright smile

"Ammaria?" Maegelle asked, "Oh my, you want to ride on her?"

Vaella nodded, "Yes!"

"Is that even possible?" Maegelle asked

"Of course it is." I said, "What makes you think it is not?"

"Well, she’s constantly surrounded by storm clouds, so I didn’t think it would be appropriate to ride on her." She said as she reached for Vaella’s hair and gently caressed it, "But if it is possible, then I suppose there’s no harm in it."

"We ride on storm, Papa?" Astorias asked

"Yes." I said

"Can storm destroy?" She asked as she leaned down to look at

"It can," I told her

"Yes! We destroy!" She shouted as she smacked my head

"No, we won’t." I said

"A...." She said, "Why....."

"Because I say so." I said as I stood up, holding Vaella in my arms and keeping Astorias steady, "But enough of this. Let us go to the Stormlands and ride on Ammaria, my dear daughters. I will show you what it is like to be in the skies, superior to everything below you."

"Be careful!" Maegelle called out to as I walked towards the door, "We’ll be here, waiting."

I stopped and turned to see her, "Don’t worry." I told her, "Nothing will ever happen to my girls."

"You have my word."
