The East City security mbers under Jing Tuoshen, the security teams from Xin Lu led by Wan Jie, the many horror ga players, Gao Yun’s student councils and the many versions of Gao Ming. All the key players at Han Hai had gathered in the two neighbourhoods. Even Gods couldn’t predict the outco from so many factors.
These security mbers and horror ga players were elites among elites. They were trained by death. Even though they had lost part of their mories and powers, they were not easy to deal with. If the two Gods focused their power on suppressing Gao Ming, Gao Ming had no chance to escape. However, the other forces had torn this plan wide open. More and more people at Everlasting Life Apartnts were woken up by the painter Gao Ming. However, most of them stayed inside their rooms and observed through the peepholes. As ti passed, the tenants’ mories were affected. This scary feeling prompted them to try to save themselves. The painter Gao Ming was physically weaker than Zuo Jun. After running for a few minutes, he couldn’t continue anymore. “If Zuo Jun catches up to , I’ll die, and he’ll get the figurine…” His paintbrush was like a carving knife. The painter Gao Ming used the paint he made from his blood and blotted out the figurine’s eyes. At that mont, all the drawings on the figurine ca alive. They crawled into the mud figurine like crazy. A web of blood vessels surfaced on the figurine. The painter Gao Ming did everything to pour the curses into the figurine’s heart.
“My paintings are my life and my consciousness. Gao Ming united with , and now you’ll unite with too! Haha!” The painter Gao Ming laughed madly. He made a decision. At the next corner, he lobbed the figurine at Zuo Jun’s face!
The racing Zuo Jun grabbed the figurine subconsciously. Instantly, he felt sothing was wrong. He felt sothing staring daggers at his back. He turned and realised the grandmother was glaring at him. The grandmother didn’t show Gao Ming any preferential treatnt. She targeted anyone who had the figurine. Zuo Jun knew the figurine was important, but holding it ant losing his life. The special death portrait in his arm chewed on his flesh. Compared to the figurine, Gao Ming was more important to the investigation centre!
In a few breaths, Zuo Jun slowed down. He aid the figurine away from him and Gao Ming and made a big toss!
“The old lady’s target is the mud figurine. I can’t deal with her right now. I’ll use this to distract her. After I kill Gao Ming, I’ll gather more people to kill her!” The mud figurine flew past the grandmother like a cannon. She was anxious that her eyes were bloodshot. She was worried that the figurine would be damaged.
Wan Jie, who tailed them, narrowed his eyes. He didn’t expect his fortune to turn so suddenly. The figurine landed and rolled towards him. Wan Jie jumped out of the shadow. As he picked up the figurine, he shouted at the blood band, “Everyone gather at my location!”
The security mbers from Xin Lu had many hidden techniques. Even though communication was blocked inside the anomaly, they had their own communication thod that even the headquarters didn’t know about. Wan Jie reached into his pocket. He sared his blood on a small doll made from human hair. Sensing no reaction from the doll, Wan Jie pulled on a long nail and pierced it through the doll’s head!
At the sa ti, a woman in the security uniform in Everlasting Life Apartnts Room 1209 scread. She collapsed to the ground. Her tousled hair was tied into many braids. The end of each braid was a cloth doll the size of a thumb.
“Zou Yin, what’s wrong with you?” The leader of Security Team Two was a woman of great proportions. She was very tall, but her whole body was shrouded in a black cloth. Not one inch of her skin was exposed.
“Vice-captain, the back of your head is bleeding!” The three other girls in Team Two helped Zuo Yin up. They entered the apartnt in a team of five and ca to the sa room.
“Sothing has happened to the boss!” Zuo Yin grabbed the dolls bound around her braids once she got up. “He had contact the others imdiately to gather at his location!”
“We’ve been here less than one hour, and Wan Jie is already in trouble?” The team leader held Zuo Yin’s shoulder. “Are you sure about this?”
“It’s the most direct order! Boss’s eyes should have seen real danger. We’re in big trouble!” Zuo Yin spread her blood on all the dolls. When all of them smiled and opened their eyes, she started to speak to them. “No. I can’t use my ghost tattoo. I have to use my own sensory talent to contact everyone.” Zuo Yin sliced her fingers and shoved her blood into the dolls’ mouths. Her mouth slowly took on the shape of a doll’s mouth. The security mbers scattered inside the building should have received her ssage, but Zuo Yin’s face was pale. She exhausted a lot of energy but only received three replies.
“We’re in serious trouble.” Zuo Yin’s face was as white as paper. “If there are five people in a team, other than our team, I can only reach fifteen people.”
For these people, Wan Jie’s words were absolute orders. They needed to obey Wan Jie if they wanted to live. Those who didn’t reply ant that they didn’t want to live anymore.
“Is this place that dangerous?” A team 2 mber shivered.
“The power of the ghosts here is related to mory. You don’t feel anything because of my power.” The Team Captain grabbed the black cloth around her arm. Her body was alluring. Even the shroud couldn’t hide her good figure. She tore off the black cloth. Her team mbers looked at her in curiosity. Instead of fair skin, they saw scary scars and wrinkles.
“I can trade my lifespan to undo negative influences. However, I am ageing rapidly here. The whole building is under so kind of rules. If you’re not careful, you’ll lose your mories and your selves.”
The woman wrapped her hand back. She entered the kitchen to retrieve a red box. “The presents are our deepest secrets. I hope we can help each other rember our secrets.”
The woman used the lighter to burn the box into ashes. The minute hand on the clock finished a circle.
All the clocks inside the room emitted a strange sound. When the tenants turned to look at the clocks, they saw their reflections on the surface of the clocks.
