After hours of running around the massive compound, Elise finally fell into sleep. Samuel was carrying her in his arms making his way back to the main mansion.
Half way through the trip, Henri, the head butler t up with him and began to give him the genuine tour of the place but Elise was more interested in nature. She ran around in the shallow lake and tiny flower beds as well as complain about the lack of horses in the stable.
It's safe to say that Samuel promised her that he would fill up the place as soon as possible and asked Henri to take care of it. It was a priority order so he had to leave everything behind and make so calls asking so of his connections to look for docile and magnificent horses.
When they visited the dining area, Elise was treated with top quality handmade snacks which cheered her up a little. Henri gave his staff full autonomy to present their best dishes especially sweets just to appease Elise.
He knew very early that what he needed to pay more attention too was the little girl because he saw how much Samuel pampered her. While playing in water, he didn't even take off his expensive clothes and muddied his whole attire just because she told him to hurry up.
When her legs got tired, he would perched her up over his shoulder giving her the best seat in the house. What's outrageous was that he was even willing the cheer her up by playing 'horse' ga, if not for Henri promising Elise that he would bring the actual horses as soon as possible, he knew that she would ride the 'owner' like horse!
Samuel knew that he was being too indulgent but he felt like she deserved it for a day. He just feared what Mayra and Kayla would say if they saw him spoiling Elise to death. Speaking of them, he called them and inford them that Elise would be with him for couple of days.
They readily agreed, they didn't really get ti to themselves and decided to go on dates or shopping or focus more on piling 'stack' of work. He also invited them that they could co and hang out in his castle but they politely declined.
Even if Château d'or Vicomte was impressive, it still paled in comparison to the Rothschild's estate. It was like a erging baby so they felt like since they already experienced what top luxury looked like for past few week, it would be detrintal if they beca lazy.
Beside Château d'or Vicomte was in Paris, they could just visit whenever they wanted. It would only take them a hour of drive from their ho.
While he carried her back, he asked the staff to take care of Elise. It was already dark and with the amount of snacks that Elise ate, she wouldn't likely to get up for dinner.
" Is her room ready?" He asked Henri.
" Yes, young master. We finished decorating the little miss' room first. It's all according to what Miss Lucie instructed."
" Alright." He followed Henri and even t up with other five girls who were chilling in the living room. They were exhausted so he didn't disturb them only asked Lucie to take care of them. He also asked her to stay the night but she declined because she still had a lot of work that needed to be done.
He didn't even get to say hello to the girls before he left to lay Elise on the bed. He couldn't wait to see Elise's reaction when she wakes up to see everything that he had prepared for her. Her room was a proper princess thed with many inspiration from the classic disney movies.
Being one of the largest shareholders ca with additional perks as he directly asked the head office of Disney to send so of their best stuff which included toys. Her room was filled with such rare goodies including so of the collectable items.
He left everything else to one of the female staff, she was responsible for looking after Elise. He made his way toward his own room. He also instructed Henri to send his al directly to his room.
The reason being that he hadn't had a wink of sleep in three days. Even for him, even if his body wasn't tired, his mind was started to get hazy. With an overnight flight to eting Delphina then to teaming up with Alexis, he accomplished a lot of things in just three days.
Not to ntion wrestling out with Kayla and Mayra and visiting largest fashion venue in the world. He didn't have any ti to even sit down to rest much less to eat food. His superhuman body ca with a heavy price toll of requiring a massive amount of calories.
He could have had dinner with the girls but sohow he felt like it would lead to more headache. It's not like he was purposely avoiding them but them not seeing his face added certain sense of mystery to his identity hence they wouldn't carelessly do anything abrupt.
He walked inside the master bedroom to get naked to take a long shower during which Henri brought him a table full of food. Just the sll was enough to make him drool, he demolished everything within few minutes and laid back on his chair with a satisfied expression.
Henri cleaned everything, he could tell the boss was tired. Samuel asked him to look after the guests, he had his dinner early but he didn't want them to left out. After Lucie left, Henri would be the one to cater to them.
After al, he laid on the bed and replied to so of the ssages. He saw Paige and Maia asking him when he would co and visit them to which he replied soon. He was thinking when Delphina's situation got settled, he should give them a visit because he only had few weeks before the shooting started.
Thinking about such mundane things, his eyelids started to turn heavy. He didn't even had chance to put aside his phone before he fully entered dreamland not knowing that there was a heated discussion happening inside the dining room!
