The guard on the floor looked at Samuel with fearful eyes but he wasn't ready to cave in. With his people rushing in, he used his 'good' hand to pull out his service firearm.

They all did as they surrounded Samuel and Kate pointing gun at him. Few people who were still on yhe periphery watching scattered around like headless chicken because they knew what was going to happen next.

No matter how much they enjoyed watching this 'drama' they were willing to rish their lives for it. Let them do their thing while they fled hastily without even looking back.

Even the man who was wrestling with the guard to fl the scene ran away. He must be scared out of his mind because, he threw his phone randomly, wanting nothing to do with it!

Kate who was standing beside him instinctively got closer to Samuel obviously nervous. She knew he was powerful but these were hot weapons they were holding.

She didn't want him to risk his life for such a thing. Even though she wanted to help the girl, she didn't want anything to happen to Samuel because she didn't want him to get hurt or worse.

Even Robyn, Bella and Adele who were watching from the entrance were shocked by audden turn of event.

Bella and Adele had never even seen a gun before but Robyn who grew up in rough neighborhood was familiar with it.

Everyone says that second andnt in the states is vital and should be protected but with so much in flux of weapons, gang violence had beco common especially in inner cities.

Now even of governt tried to anything about it, they would only be handing out the gun from general citizens to these people who were a clear harm to society.

Drive-by shooting and gang on gang violence had beco a common place and most of the tis it would involve petty things like soone disrespecting another gang mber or because of love triangles probably because the accessibility of weapons but this was not the States so it was pretty jarring to see them pull out guns in public!

" You know, I hate when soone points a gun at but what's even worse is when you are doing it to soone I care about. Don't bla for being ruthless." Samuel was unfazed by it all.

These pistols posed no threat to him, he had already pulled out his magic shield which was stronger than ever. Just last year, he managed to block rifle ammo but now, he felt like even snipers wouldn't be able to do anything to him.

Seeing his unchanged expression tuened colder and how he looked at them like giving them a death sentence, the guards hesitated for a second.

They couldn't believe what he was saying or how he was able to remain calm when facing them. Their brains were telling them that he was bluffing but fir so reason their instincts were telling them to run as far as they could if they wanted to save their life.

anwhile, few minutes earlier when the girl was surrounded and the man whom she knocked out was being treated, she felt regretful for not getting out of the situation 'peacefully'.

She wasn't a fighter in a traditional sense but because of her job, she was able to go toe to toe with her unsuspecting enemy. She was flexible and well built with a height of five feet eight but most of it was covered up currently because of her oversized sweatshirt and the baggy pants.

She never expected a harmless conversation during one of the club's parties would attract attention of the man who kept harrassing her for months at this point.

It wasn't like she snapped all of a sudden. Her practice was disturbed not to ntion, she couldn't speak up because she learned the man who was chasing her, his father was one of the shareholders of the club.

She didn't really like parties and would always keep her head down and focus on grinding. Even relationship and family mbers didn't matter to her at the mont of ti.

It was already February and in just half a year the World Female Rugby Cup would be held in London. This was her first ti participating in it. As a twenty year old, this was her ti to prove herself and cent her career that she worked so hard for.

Her father was a Rugby player but he passed away when she was a teenager. She promised him that she would carry on his legacy. Although she couldn't compete in n's championship, she was going to win it for her father that's why she trained so hard and finally gor accepted in the lineup.

The practice alone was grueling but she would push herself even harder alone trying to get into best physical shape. It was hard, one of the hardest thing to compete at such a level in one of the most violent sports on this planet.

Such high octane situations, she tended to lash out or act on her anger but this ti because of man's identity. She repeatedly rejected him.

As soone who was considered good looking not to ntion, she had a sculpted body not like body builder because in sich a sport every muscle in the body needed to be trained simultaneously especially her legs which was thick as a tree stump!

It was hard for her to not garner attention. Many ns from the club or around her would show interest in her but because she was always focused on her goals, she never gave anyone any chance. She wasn't ready for it.

Now she was backed into a corner, she had only one way to fight back that was to retaliate but she would never have expected the situation to turn like this.

The chance of her getting out of this situation looked bleak after all even of shebwas innocent as an athlete, she shouldn't have done it.
