The small convoy first headed toward the center of the city. It would be wise to say, their journey began with small shopping spree.
Eleanor was especially ecstatic about buying new things for Elise. Although, Samuel had bought various small dresses for her, she felt like they were insufficient.
Even now, Elise wore her favorite pink dress. It was one of the first thing he bought for her which was why it held a very symbolic place in her heart.
The flowly pink dress perfectly fit her princess persona. With light blonde hair in tied in two ponytail, her appearance was simply perfect.
Two pale blue eyes, pouty red little mouth and cute lille nose, she was like a living doll in Samuel's arms. As they walked though the mall, people would occasionally glance at her even pointing at her while whispering to their companions.
" Ah, I have never seen such a cute little girl before. The one holding her must be her father right? Why is he hiding his face?" One of them exclaid.
" They must be famous after all only celebrities put on such disguises in public."
" But he looks too young to be a father? Maybe it's his little sister. The old woman walking ahead of them also seem extraordinary."
" Hey, hey. You are right. Just looking at their clothes you can tell they are expensive."
" I don't care. I just want hug and kiss that little girl. Should we go and talk to them? Maybe we can ask for a photo?"
The mall just opened an hour ago but there were already many people gathering around to see sudden resurgence of 'stars'.
Samuel could heart their discussion but he didn't care. No one dared to co talk to them especially when there were around twelve people escorting them.
At first he didn't want them to bother but because it was a crowded place, they could risk endangering their client, especially soone like Eleanor.
" Sami! Look look." Elise eyes glead with happiness whenever she saw sothing interesting inside the store front. She didn't know everyone was looking at them but since Samuel was here, she was not afraid.
It might be a problem if she was her previous self but now, she had learned to ignore strangers and there was no fear in her eyes.
Eleanor anwhile went straight to speciality store. She was leading them but there were poeple in the front who were guiding her after all she never really set foot in a place like this before.
She only needed to tell them to find the best clothing store in the place and others would 'research' and even do so 'preliminary' work so that she would have to waste her ti.
There were many speciality store catering to children's clothes but what Eleanor was looking for had to be special. After mobilizing the team they ca to a certain store at the middle floor of the shopping mall.
It didn't look anything special but after walking inside Eleanor eyes lit up. It was just what she wanted to see not the famous brands but sothing more specific. A handcrafted store without much prestige and honor but just from looking at their craft ,she could tell the owner had so talent.
" Grandmother, are you sure we are at the right place?" Samuel asked. He never thought she would be interested in anything other than luxurious brands.
" What do you know about fashion? Just follow , I will state my requirents and see if they could produce dresses according to my condition." Eleanor said in a dissatisfied tone. She could feel the scarcasm in Samuel's voice. Not everything that glitter is gold, sotis one had to look at the heart of things.
Seeing Eleanor's enthusiasm, even Elise beca excited. She started struggling in Sanuel's arm sayin 'quickly' 'quickly' wanting to explore the new place.
The store had modest design without any fancy advertising, even the reception area looked ordinary but one could tell at a glace that everything looked old but exceptionally clean.
It was safe to say, the store seed to be here for years. How they manage to afford the rent at this place was a mystery to everyone.
Samuel stopped talking and let Elise explore. Seeing the old woman and the little girl go from one shelf to another, he smiled and chuckled. It could be said they might be farther apart in age but their heart seed to the sa.
The large commotion attracted the only employee of the store who ca out from the back to see three stranger running around in their store.
Samuel looked and saw a won who was similar age to Eleanor, she wore simple clothes but her hair was tied neatly and just from looking at her hands, one could tell she was a master seamstress. What was more attractive was her eyes, they were bright, like soone who knew their craft.
" Excuse , custors. You are not allowed to touch the products without permission. Those are custom orders ready for pick up." The old woman hurriedly ca forward to stop Eleanor who was browsing through different dresses.
She turned back and looked at the store owner and nodded before saying," Are these your creations?"
" Yes."
" How quickly can you make children dresses with similar design?"
" This is not a child specific store, if you eant you can go upstairs-"
" That's not what I am asking. Can you nake it or not? I want to purchase few dresses for this little girl." Eleanor touched Elise's head.
Only then, the seamstress noticed the appearance of Elise. Seeing the little girm curiously looked at her really made an impact in her heart.
She could only think how this little girl was so cute? Even the way she was looking at her arose extre curiousity in her heart.
