Daisy Ginger furrowed her brow, looking at her son’s face, "You plan to attend her class?"
Erin Ginger didn’t speak, just nodded in her arms.
It was rare for him to show interest in anything, so Daisy naturally wouldn’t oppose it, though she felt a bit uneasy.
"You won’t be able to sleep in every day anymore." Daisy put him down and tousled his little head, "There will be a lot of howork, and you won’t be able to go out to draw every day. Can you handle that?"
The little boy furrowed his brow, thought for a mont, and then nodded.
Seeing his determination, Daisy naturally didn’t object anymore, she agreed and said to Vivian, "You take him to class."
Vivian adjusted her glasses, agreed, walked up, and held Erin’s little hand, glancing at Daisy, said earnestly, "Miss Ginger, pardon but young Erin is much more sensible than you."
Daisy, expressionless: "......"
With a tutor this blunt, can she really teach her son well?
Vivian lowered her head, gently tousled Erin’s hair, and said in a thodical tone, "Young Master Erin, please follow , today we learn French, do you know France?"
Erin did not respond to her, just looked up at Daisy. Receiving her encouraging nod, he then followed Vivian to the study.
Watching their figures gradually disappear, Daisy stood still, not knowing why she felt a bit sentintal.
She could sense that bringing Erin to the Stephens might change his future trajectory in ways she hadn’t planned for.
What the Stephens family could offer him was unmatched by what she could give.
What sort of child would he beco in the future?
Daisy couldn’t imagine at all.
Feeling a bit sad and powerless that her child was growing up too quickly and beyond her control, she texted Jas Shelton.
"Erin voluntarily started attending classes."
A few minutes later, Jas replied.
"What class?"
"French class."
As expected, Jas seed quite shocked.
"Why French?!!"
"Yeah... Why learn French..."
Just as she finished typing and was about to send it, Vivian suddenly rushed out from the study.
She didn’t look as composed as she did earlier, her complexion sohow pale, and as Daisy leaned against the second-floor railing watching her stumble out, she hesitated and asked curiously, "What’s wrong?"
Vivian didn’t hear her at all, Daisy watched as she absent-mindedly walked downstairs and left.
She turned her head to see Erin’s small figure appearing at the study door, the boy seed normal, so Daisy went to take a look inside, where nothing strange was present aside from two tablets.
"What did you do?" Daisy asked.
Erin shook his head, looking innocent.
He hadn’t done anything, so what scared her like that?
"Don’t do bad things." Daisy said.
Erin pouted, "I didn’t do anything."
Daisy naturally trusted her son. She kissed Erin’s little cheek and picked him up, "Then never mind. Are you hungry? There’s strawberry cake in the fridge."
*
Just as Daisy was with Erin enjoying strawberry cake in the dining room, a group of n and won in white coats entered, led by Vivian, carrying instrunts.
Hearing the commotion, Daisy stepped out of the dining room and saw the group in her house, furrowing her brow.
What’s going on? Out went Vivian, back ca so many people?
Vivian ca over and softly said, "Miss Ginger, we plan to asure Young Master Erin’s IQ, and...why didn’t you tell he already speaks eight languages?"
Daisy: "When did he speak eight languages?"
Vivian looked at her, a bit taken aback, and then asked, "Doesn’t this child usually get cared for by you?"
"No." Daisy looked at their serious deanor, chuckled, "Miss Vivian, aren’t you being too nervous, Erin is just a bit smarter than average, but it’s not enough to scare you like this, is it?"
Vivian looked at her like she was a fool, then asked, "Can I ask, who usually takes care of Young Master Erin?"
Daisy imdiately started a voice call with Jas, explaining Erin’s situation and asked him to talk to Vivian.
Vivian, after chatting with Jas briefly, returned to the group of people wearing white coats and, together with more than ten others, surrounded Jas, whispering unknown things.
Erin hugged Daisy from behind, calling her, "Mommy."
Daisy looked down, saw so cream still on his face, and laughed, "Finished the cake?"
Erin nodded.
Daisy wiped off the cream and noticed her son was staring at the crowd in the living room, so she explained, "Those uncles and aunties ca to asure your IQ. By the way, what did you talk about with Vivian in the study that made her say you speak eight languages?"
Erin looked at her blankly.
Daisy stared at him blankly as well.
After a while, the group seed to have finished talking with Jas, Vivian ca back from the crowd and handed her phone over carefully.
"Miss Ginger, I’ve finished communicating with Mr. Shelton. Now, we’ll take young Master Erin for testing, it won’t take much of your ti."
Daisy looked at those strange devices, she frowned: "Does it involve blood testing?"
"No, no, just doing test questions, along with asuring brainwaves."
Hearing there was no harm to Erin, Daisy agreed.
Watching Erin surrounded by a group of adults, Daisy felt slightly concerned, but seeing them rely attaching electrodes on Erin without any other actions, she breathed a sigh of relief, took out her phone, and asked Jas, "What did you chat about?"
"Nothing much." Jas humd, "Just talked about Erin’s favorite novels and cartoons."
Daisy curiously asked, "Doesn’t Erin like watching SpongeBob?"
"He likes watching quite a bit." Jas replied, "More than you can imagine."
Daisy probably doesn’t realize yet that she gave birth to such an extraordinary little guy, Jas thought gleefully.
Daisy didn’t bother with Jas’s mysteriousness, she cold-snorted, "I’ll find out later. You go to sleep now!"
Ending the call, she leaned against the wall, watching Erin.
Erin rapidly tapped the iPad over there, and within half an hour, handed the iPad back to Vivian.
Daisy crossed her arms, leaning against the wall, watching the group amazedly take the iPad, observing the test results, and gathered chirpily together, while Erin sat quietly on the sofa; she couldn’t help but find it amusing.
A bit too trivial, intelligent children aren’t unheard of in this world, after all, Edward Stephens was also a child prodigy once, wasn’t he?
