His voice was soft, with an innocent, pure tone at the end, sounding completely natural.
After last night ended, although they both took a shower, neither of them put on clothes. At this mont, he pressed against her, their skin touching, feeling each other’s heartbeat pounding on their chests.
Experiencing each other’s presence in such a subtle way felt even more profound than the intense sensations of last night.
Daisy t his eyes; they were the deep and mysterious eyes unique to the Stephens family, but now illuminated by the clear sunlight, they didn’t feel unfathomable, only gentle.
Like black jade imrsed in warm water, reflecting her face gently, harmless and innocent.
Feeling his hand gradually tightening around her waist, Daisy suddenly realized and pushed him away—harmless my ass!
Don’t touch !
Edward Stephens was pushed into the bedding by her. He leaned against the bedhead, looked at Daisy’s cautious eyes, tousled his ssy short hair, and clicked his tongue lightly.
A bit annoyed.
Daisy jumped out of bed, grabbed a robe from the wardrobe, and threw it on herself, "I have to go back to Royal Entertainnt later, what about you? Are you going ho? Should I drive you over?"
Edward bent one long leg, rested his arm on his knee, admired Daisy changing, and lazily yawned, "I’m not leaving."
Daisy was taken aback and turned to look at him, "You’re not leaving?"
The man nodded his chin as if it was obvious, "I’m staying here."
Daisy refused outright, "No way."
"Why not?"
"You affect my work efficiency."
The man snorted, let out a light laugh, squinted slightly, and glanced at her slender waist with the black silk belt, saying aningfully, "All work and no play..."
Daisy saw his mischievous expression and knew his mind was likely filled with indecent thoughts at the mont.
Thinking back to the pure young man he used to be, even when she tempted him, he would righteously refuse. Since tasting indulgence, he’s turned into a big bad devil.
Daisy looked at him, clicked her tongue regretfully twice, and shook her head.
"Are you badmouthing again?" The man squinted his eyes dangerously.
"I’m praising you," Daisy replied perfunctorily, rummaging through the wardrobe to pull out an unopened n’s robe, and tossed it to Edward, "Get up quickly, your clothes from yesterday are in the dryer, go get them yourself. I’ll go downstairs to make breakfast."
Edward held the black n’s robe, glanced at the intact tag, and asked aningfully, "Who is this clothing for?"
Daisy knew he was petty, so she explained, "The mall was having a sale, Elena bought it with a buy-one-get-one-free deal. If you don’t like it, I also have won’s ones here."
Seeing he had no reaction, Daisy knew he accepted it, breathed a sigh of relief, then thought, now it’s really not easy for —it’s like an old master in a previous era taking in a jealous and temperantal concubine, always fearing to say the wrong thing and upset the beauty, serving with extra caution...
Glancing at the man behind her, Daisy opened the door and quickly slipped out.

Daisy hadn’t learned to cook, but she could make a simple sandwich.
There were ham and vegetables in the fridge. By the ti Edward ca downstairs, she had quickly made two sandwiches and brewed two cups of black coffee.
The man was wearing the robe she had given him, a cheap piece worth a couple of hundred bucks, with threads not entirely trimd, looking like it wronged him quite a bit. Daisy sat in the chair, sipping her coffee, and as she watched him co in, she thought to herself, she would go and buy a few brand new outfits for him to change into in the evening.
