Daisy was listening and found herself in a daze.
She hadn’t thought about that layer of things.
Yeah, after she fell into the cave, Emma was rescued by the search team, and she didn’t even tell the rescuers to co find her.
It was Edward who searched for an entire night to rescue her.
If it weren’t for the dead leaves at the bottom of that high cave, it wouldn’t have been just a minor concussion for her.
After a while, Daisy slowly exhaled and sighed softly, "...You’re right, I really almost didn’t make it."
No matter what Emma was thinking that day, whether she was too scared to speak up or deliberately withheld information, her hidden thoughts were not righteous.

When Daisy called Edward Stephens, she found out he was still sleeping.
A low, hoarse male voice ca from the phone, laced with a hint of drowsiness. Daisy couldn’t help but chuckle, "It’s already noon, how long are you going to sleep?"
Edward had pulled an all-nighter dealing with docunts and wasn’t fully awake yet. Hearing Daisy’s voice, his mind was a little fuzzy.
He asked, "What’s up?"
"Can’t I just call you for no reason?"
Edward beca a bit more alert, climbing out of the covers to lean against the headboard, "Being courteous for no reason."
Daisy didn’t like that comnt.
"Why are you always so suspicious?"
The man chuckled, "Co on, what do you need?"
"Have you eaten?"
"..." He probably wasn’t fully awake yet and couldn’t quite keep up with Daisy’s pace. "...Not yet, why?"
"I’m almost off work." Daisy said, "You’re alone at ho, right? I’ll bring you so food."
The man listened and chuckled. He was indeed ho alone, but with servants at ho, he wouldn’t starve.
But seeing how eager Daisy was to throw herself into his arms today, he naturally wouldn’t refuse.
"Then hurry up and co over," he said reservedly, "or I won’t wait to eat."
"OK!"
Daisy replied and hung up the phone.
Edward leaned against the headboard, rubbing his chin.
This woman, so enthusiastic today, did she take the wrong dicine?
Or did he do sothing wrong that she had to personally co over to question him?
As Edward pondered Daisy’s thoughts, he unknowingly fell back asleep.
