There’s a strange sense of distance that feels different from when interacting with her.

This sense of distance makes it easy to pick him out from the crowd, even though he’s always wearing a black mask, making it impossible to see his face.

At noon, Daisy Ginger and Elena Raven were having lunch in the cafeteria when the surroundings suddenly quieted down; she sensed sothing, looked up, and indeed saw Edward Stephens and his group enter from outside.

Emma Magus had just finished filming, had taken off her costu, but hadn’t yet removed her makeup. She was chatting and laughing with Ryan Smith as they walked in from the crowd; Edward Stephens was dressed in black clothes, with his hands in his pockets and a mask on his face, following them.

He had a tall and straight figure, walked with a grace even more refined than professionally trained actors, and with only a pair of pitch-black eyes visible on his face, he still drew the attention of everyone.

"Wow..." Elena Raven sipped her tomato egg soup, not knowing what she saw, and let out a gentle exclamation.

Daisy Ginger warned her with a look, mouthing to her, "Finish your al!"

Edward Stephens and his group walked over, sitting at a table separated from them by one table’s width, and Emma Magus’s voice transmitted over, asking Ryan Smith, "What does Edward want to eat?"

Ryan Smith: "His throat is uncomfortable, let’s get him so porridge."

Hearing this, Daisy Ginger couldn’t help but turn her head slightly, glancing at the neighboring table.

Emma Magus went to serve Edward so food, while Ryan Smith sat next to Edward, talking to him in a hushed tone. Edward took off his mask, revealing a handso face that looked sowhat pale.

His thin lips were a bit dry, and after responding to Ryan Smith a few sentences, he pressed his fingers to his lips, softly coughing a few tis.

His voice was hoarse.

These were clearly symptoms of a worsening cold.

She thought, with this place being so damp and having large temperature differences between day and night, even a normal person couldn’t handle it, let alone him, a patient, coming here was courting death, wasn’t it?

Ryan Smith didn’t seem to care, having been here for several days without calling Edward back, just letting him stay here.

Couldn’t it be seen that Edward’s illness was getting worse?

They probably didn’t even bring any cold dicine, did they?!

As Daisy Ginger thought this, an inexplicable irritation built up in her heart. She ate with Elena Raven for a while, listening to Emma Magus and Ryan Smith’s joyful chatter from the neighboring table, while Edward remained silent, feeling she could no longer eat, put down her chopsticks, and got up to leave.

"Hey, Daisy!" Elena Raven saw her frown as she stood up, surprised, she raised her head to look at her, "Is sothing wrong? Aren’t you going to eat?"

"I’m full," Daisy Ginger said in a deep voice to her, walking out of her seat, she approached the door, passing by Edward Stephens’ table, Daisy Ginger didn’t glance at them.

You’re full?

Elena Raven glanced at the barely touched al Daisy Ginger left behind, even her favorite braised prawns, she’d only eaten one.

Was she in a bad mood?

While she was pondering, a wine-red head suddenly nudged over, sitting next to her.

"Hi," a man with an exceptionally handso face smiled, his eyes narrowed pleasantly, greeting her warmly.

Elena Raven looked at him and opened her eyes slightly wider.

"Could you have a al with ?"

With Daisy Ginger absent, he imdiately started flirting.

Feeling sowhat nervous due to Daisy Ginger’s presence, Elena Raven truly didn’t have a good impression of this man. But it seed improper to reject soone in public...

While hesitating, Ryan Smith imdiately sat in Daisy Ginger’s seat, conveniently bringing his al over as well, saying familiarly, "I have grilled beef steak, do you want to try mine?"
