After Daisy Ginger finished a glass of orange juice, the lawyer finally ended the call.

He walked back over, sat in front of Daisy Ginger, his young face carrying a hint of seriousness, and said in a low voice to Daisy Ginger, "Miss Ginger, Mr. Stephens said that this diamond ring has great significance for him. If you can’t return it to him, he’s afraid he won’t be able to proceed according to the contract in terms of property division."

Daisy Ginger raised an eyebrow slightly, "Hmm."

"He said that since you have swallowed his diamond ring, this marital ho of you and him must be transferred to his na."

Daisy Ginger leaned her slender back against the soft sofa and said indifferently, "He’s really being greedy?"

"I also know this request is quite unreasonable. So please try to find the ring as soon as possible."

Daisy Ginger: "Then let’s give him the house."

"Ah?" The lawyer was stunned for a mont, seemingly not reacting, looking at Daisy Ginger in surprise.

Daisy Ginger: "I can’t find the ring, you tell him, just exchange it for the house."

A diamond ring worth hundreds of thousands in exchange for billions.

Do wealthy people always think in such strange ways?

The lawyer cleared his throat lightly and nodded, "Since Miss Ginger agrees... I’ll reorganize the contract, and then we can go to the civil affairs bureau to dissolve your marital relationship with Mr. Stephens."

Daisy Ginger asked, "Does he not need to co in person?"

"Mr. Stephens is too busy with work, he has authorized to handle it, and I heard the marriage certificate is with you, you can bring it together."

Daisy Ginger was silent for a while, thinking about sothing, lightly shook her head, then lightly nodded, "Alright."

She had nothing to dispute.

The lawyer prepared a new contract, handed it to her to sign, and then said he would send the agreent over and wait for Edward Stephens’ signature.

Daisy Ginger agreed, saw the lawyer out, and then contacted the real estate agent to cancel the sale statent.

She didn’t know why Edward Stephens wanted this house. Did he think that this house was significant to her and used it to threaten her to find the ring and return it to him?

She didn’t know what he was thinking, but such an attitude was cruel enough.

She went into the kitchen to wash the cup, then went upstairs, opened the dressing table.

The marriage certificate locked in the cabinet a year ago was neatly placed, Daisy Ginger took it out and opened it to look at it for a while.

In the photo, she looked at the cara with a smile, while Edward Stephens had a long face. At that ti, he was forced to marry her, unwilling to smile no matter what the photographer said, so they could only print such a photo.

Then, she reached into the drawer and pulled out a diamond ring.

It was the very one that Edward Stephens requested.

Edward Stephens probably never expected that the things he left for her were well-kept, not lost once.

Actually, it should have been thrown away, but then so many things happened, she didn’t even have ti to co back and live here for a while.

Daisy Ginger leaned back against the chair, extended her hand, and placed the ring he once gave as a birthday gift on her ring finger.

The platinum diamond ring shimred in the sunlight.

Just like this, farewell, there’s no need to linger, nothing left to hold onto, never to see each other again, living separate lives till death.

There’s nothing regrettable, they were never people from the sa world...

Just parallel lines that accidentally intertwined, now returning to their respective life tracks.

A week later, Daisy Ginger moved out of the villa.

Then, the properties of the Gingers and the Stephens were thoroughly divided.
