"I never wanted this child in the first place. The less chance of keeping it, the better. The thought of having this thing in my stomach makes nauseous."
Her brows furrowed, indeed showing disgust.
Charlotte Smith said, "You have no idea how difficult it is to give birth to a child recognized by the Stephens family; that’s why you’re so willful. The second young master has paid a huge price for you to live safely in the Stephens family," Charlotte Smith pursed her lips tightly, looking at Daisy Ginger, "Yet you are so ungrateful, wasting his efforts!"
The last sentence had a slightly raised intonation, one could hear the emotion in her voice at this mont.
The always gentle and soft female voice, due to anger, was filled with more typical human emotion.
