Andy actually has his own understanding of love.
In his previous life, there was just too much talk about it on the internet. There was talk of unconditional love, unrequited love, simp love, and so on... So people didn't care about those things, but so people truly devoted themselves to their love.
All the hatred, pain, confusion, anger... their root cause is actually the loss of love.
You could even say that love is the origin of all emotions.
The 'love' here does not refer to romantic love, but love in general—we actually love many things.
Upon thinking about it, Andy gradually began to understand.
Love is indeed a key factor in the fusion of mind and magic, but the question is... the reason?
Is it that magic is 'attracted' by love?
Or is there sothing special about love?
Thinking about this, Andy looked at Dumbledore and asked doubtfully, "Professor, is there anything special about love? Or is it...sothing to do with magic?"
"Collins, you always like to find out the truth behind everything."
Dumbledore said slowly, "But in many cases, 'the truth' is a beautiful but also a terrifying thing that requires our utmost caution."
Andy raised an eyebrow and said, "Professor, I want to gain a clear perspective! Besides, studying magic is all about figuring these things out."
Dumbledore's attitude made Andy keenly aware that the peculiarity of love might have sothing to do with the fundantal nature of magic.
"Speaking of which, I had a wild guess before."
Andy looked at Dumbledore, eting his piercing blue eyes, and said, "When soone dies, their soul goes to the world of the dead, the dinsion of death."
"I think the soul will take sothing from us with it to that world."
"Professor… is it love?"
"The Departnt of Mysteries has a locked room, and from what you ntioned, I think it may contain the power of love."
"Love may be a powerful force, but it is not terrifying!"
"If it is not dangerous, why does the Departnt of Mysteries still lock it away? Are they afraid that soone will take it away? Who would want to take away the power of love?"
Andy asked a series of questions.
To be honest, when Andy first made this guess, he was really just letting his thoughts run wild; after all, thinking doesn't cost anything.
But now...
When Andy connected these clues together, he suddenly realised that sothing was actually very unreasonable.
Especially the locked room.
Why lock love? Does love need to be locked away?
The three Deathly Hallows; it is suspected that soone divided the power of death into three parts.
And... the dinsion of death connected by the arch.
The Departnt of Mysteries was established well before the Ministry of Magic.
Andy recognized that he was still a long way from uncovering the truth about the wizarding world, but now he has found the right direction to the truth.
Well, it's only a suspected right direction.
These speculations and analyses seem to make sense, and there are many clues related to them, but in the end, there is still no conclusive evidence to prove it all.
Maybe...
Andy suddenly thought of the mirror he got from the mysterious room in Azkaban—that mirror also connected to the dinsion of death.
Maybe he could start with that mirror and explore the truth about the dinsion of death.
In fact, Andy had this idea before, but there were just too many things going on at the mont, and he couldn't pay attention to it for a while.
"..."
After listening to Andy's question, Dumbledore remained suspiciously silent for a long ti.
"I'm sorry, I don't know!"
Dumbledore said slowly, "In this regard, I am the sa as you. Collins...we are all truth seekers."
"Except that I gave up halfway!"
"...It is indeed a bit regrettable!" Andy said after a pause.
After a mont of silence in the room, Andy asked again, "Professor, let's talk about the next question! This concerns my life safety; you can't still say you don't know, can you?"
"I'm your favourite student!"
Dumbledore: "..."
How can you say such a thing with a straight face?
After thinking about it, Dumbledore said, "Ghosts have no ntal strength. To have ntal strength, you must have both a soul and a body."
"In other words... it ans being alive!"
"And when magic fuses with your mind, the body that has been magically transford can indeed make you survive longer... if you are strong enough, you may even live to be as old as ."
After a pause, Dumbledore continued, "As for the 'Will'... It is difficult for us to determine whether a person's 'Will' is strong or not, but a strong 'Will' can indeed neutralise the negative effects of magic."
"Obscurus... it is a parasitic being of magic!"
"You must rember this!"
I see!
Andy nodded thoughtfully.
Then he looked at the system panel...
[Magic: 6]
[Constitution: 4]
[Will: 7]
In other words, Andy just needed to increase his [Constitution] attribute, and he could completely ignore all this.
Even if there were really hidden dangers in the fusion of mind and magic, he could still live to the end of his natural lifespan.
Then there is the [Will] attribute.
Will is the defence of the mind, and Andy's magic has already rged with the mind. So even if the magic becos a parasite, as long as it is still related to magic, willpower can still play a role.
Thinking about it like this, Andy suddenly felt a sense of relief.
The hidden danger does exist, but as long as Andy keeps it under control, the hidden danger will never co to the surface.
Just as he was thinking, he heard Dumbledore continue, "Generally speaking, children with strong willpower will not beco Obscurial even if they experience so bad things."
"However, most children's hearts are often sensitive and fragile."
"As for you..."
At this point, Dumbledore suddenly didn't want to continue.
This young wizard in front of him is a bit unscientific in every way and also not magical.
"You have broken a lot of common sense, Collins!" Dumbledore said.
Andy confidently said, "Common sense and records are ant to be broken. If everything stays the sa, it only proves that the world is not progressing."
After a pause, Andy continued, "Professor, thank you for clearing up my doubts. Although I still have a lot of questions, now at least I have resolved my own concerns."
Andy was in a very good mood.
His strength had increased, and there was almost no hidden danger.
Next, Andy could concentrate on adding points.
In the anti, he would study more advanced topics, such as the death dinsion and the origin of magic, and gradually uncover the truth about this world.
If he is going in the right direction...
Andy felt that the day when he would uncover the truth was not far away.
Before that, Andy still needed to further deal with his fear of insufficient combat power.
Let's set a small goal and raise all attributes to ten points first!
