Just as Harry was starting to feel a wave of despair, a voice as pleasant as music to his ears suddenly rang out —
"Charm proficiency, 7 points; charm combination proficiency, 3 points; actual combat reaction, 8 points; psychological quality, 5 points... ntal interference attack, 9 points... hmm, I guess you barely pass."
"Se-Senior?"
Seeing William erge from the ground, surrounded by a human-shaped blue Light Shield, Harry suddenly found that he could talk again. However, he still couldn’t cast spells, and his eye involuntarily twitched, "Why is it you?"
"Who else would it be if not ? Did you really think it was that Blake?"
William glanced at Harry and put away his little notebook where scores were recorded, a malicious smirk playing at the corner of his mouth, "Do you think a Death Eater, most likely locked in Azkaban until ntally unsound, could happily chat and then duel fairly with you under such circumstances?"
After realizing the asures he left in these secret passages were triggered, William quickly teleported over, hoping to finally catch that big fish.
But it turned out to be just a small fry breaking school rules.
Sighing with so disappointnt, William decided to give this little guy who disturbed his morning sleep a lesson, so he straightforwardly cast the Killing Curse.
Anyway, he hadn’t infused any malice or magic power into it. It looked threatening but would only make soone uncomfortable, maybe cause a nosebleed.
However, the ensuing duel left William pleasantly surprised with Harry’s combat skills. After all, he was a student taught by William, and seeing progress made the teacher quite happy, especially the final duel which showcased impressive adaptability.
However, Harry really shouldn’t be here now.
Faced with William’s questioning, Harry couldn’t help but show a bitter smile. He rubbed his forehead, aching a bit from a hit, and obediently recounted the whole story, including sending off Ron and Hermione and how the Weasley Twins directed him—all the details.
"...Are they that idle? Looks like I’ll have to give those two lads more howork later."
After hearing Harry’s explanation, William nodded with a smile. If he rembered correctly, those two little troublemakers of the Weasley Family were not only in his Duel Club but also took Grindelwald’s Physics-Chemistry-Enhancent class... or rather, the Muggle Studies Class.
So... hehe.
Seeing the smile at the corner of William’s mouth, Harry couldn’t help but sigh, apologizing inwardly to the two of them—well, better them than , right?
"Did you ever think that if it was really Sirius waiting for you here..."
"Sorry."
Harry apologized with a forlorn look, hands behind his back, "I’ll head back to the castle right now."
"..."
Looking at the boy’s face full of helplessness and disappointnt, William finally sighed. Since when did he care about school rules? — Moreover, how did he beco soone he always disliked?
"Alright, you’ve collapsed the tunnel. Where are you heading back to?"
Seeing the boy instinctively turn back with an expectant look on his face, William smiled, pulling out a still-sleeping Kabuda from his arms and tossing it onto the boy’s head. Feeling a spin in its sleep, the Niffler couldn’t help... turning over, changing its sleeping position.
There was no other way. William pulled its belly out or tossed it around without warning every day, so it was used to such movent by now.
"Wake Kabuda up if anything seems wrong. It knows what to do. Consider it a reward for passing your practical test. Go have fun."
"Really?"
"Leave before I change my mind."
