Chapter 708: Chapter 671: Dumbledore’s Counterattack, Kael’s New Job
After relaying the information he got from the Dentors, Kael was about to leave the Headmaster’s Office. He wasn’t concerned with how Dumbledore would handle it.
After all, he didn’t know the location of those sixty Dentors, and no one would tell him. Even if he wanted to help, he couldn’t.
But just as he was pulling open the door to leave, Dumbledore’s voice suddenly called out from behind him.

"Is there anything else, Headmaster?" Kael asked.
Dumbledore had a strange expression, opening his mouth as if to speak but hesitating, and then shook his head. "No, nothing... I just wanted to say that from tomorrow, I might be away for a while.
"Oh, and I’ll be taking Fawkes with ."
At this point, Dumbledore suddenly hesitated for a mont, not understanding himself why he added this sentence... Maybe he was subconsciously trying to refuse Kael in case he found an excuse to borrow the Phoenix again.

There were only about sixty Dentors in total. It didn’t seem like it would take Dumbledore that long.
Moreover, ever since news of Voldemort’s return spread, the castle had been in a state of anxiety, calming only with Dumbledore’s presence.
If he left now, especially for a long period, it might have so negative effects on the school.

What was going on? When did he submit a job application to the Ministry of Magic...
Kael just wanted Dumbledore to beco the Minister, not to join the Ministry of Magic himself... In the current situation, his task was already completed.
And what did Dumbledore’s signature an? Couldn’t he see that this was the Ministry of Magic trying to poach Hogwarts?

Without hesitation, Kael turned and ran back to the eighth floor, stopping in front of the stone gargoyle.

Apparently, in the few minutes he’d been away, Dumbledore had already changed the password.
Kael started naming other candies, almost going through the entire Honeydukes order list, but it was as if the stone beast was welded to the ground; it didn’t move an inch.
