Chapter 847
Their prior rating failures were all due to Cold Lizard blocking their progress to support his own people.
This ti though, Cold Lizard was probably too preoccupied with Bennett White’s affairs to pay attention here.
After a mont, she suddenly asked, "Is it that only those who’ve gone through a rating have the qualification to participate in the Alliance War?"
Her voice still sounded hoarse, revealing a resolution after careful contemplation.
Upon hearing this, Heijii said worriedly, "Don’t tell you’re planning on going."
Old Man Dong sighed, "You are still not fully healed, don’t be impulsive."
Polita chid in, "Darling, I’ve also been very curious, why exactly does Bennett White protect you so?"
Chloe Collins glanced up quietly for a mont before replying, "Out of kindness."
Ever since then first ti he gave her bandages and healing dicine that Great-Grandmother had entrusted him with, up till his firm stance yesterday, she had developed a fondness for Bennett White.
Thinking about it, she figured it’s likely the feeling students back at school often ntioned, the exhilaration fans feel to their idols.
Polita’s white fingers pressed against her lips, "Hmm...kindness? Most of the ti, a man’s kindness has a motive."
Heijii said, "What are you talking about? Not all n are like the ones you know."
"Oh, you’re overreacting, I wasn’t talking about you." Polita smiled faintly, her charm was irresistible.
Old Man Dong spoke, "Only those above Level A are qualified, others can only watch."
"Level A." Chloe Collins muttered, her eyes revealing the traces of her thoughts.
The crowd for today’s rating exercise was as large as ever.
The leader of Group 3 led about a dozen people to the Main Gate, then gave a short psychological counseling session before the rating.
"Everyone don’t be nervous, the more nervous you are, the worse you perform. Just think of it as fun! Even if you fail this ti, there’s always the next, and the next! You, those with the ability, should strive for the best rating possible, do Group 3 proud!"
Saying that, he pointed into the distance, "Did everyone see that? If anyone reaches Level A, a salute will sound. The color of Group 3’s salute is sky blue. Once a light blue salute rings out, it ans soone has reached Level A. If the dark blue salvos sound out eight tis consecutively, it ans soone reached S level. I don’t have high hopes of you guys, for now, I just hope that at least three of you can reach Level A!"
No sooner had his voice died away than the neighboring group burst into derisive laughter.
"High expectations? It’s challenging enough for newcors to reach Level C. Aren’t we all painstakingly climbing up step-by-step? Level A? Wishful thinking. Too naive."
"Group 3 has always been smug, they’ll know once they taste defeat."
Group 3’s Leader: "(⊙o⊙)..."
"Eh, everyone should ignore others’ thoughts and believe in yourselves."
After so encouraging words, the rating comnced.
Everyone entered the Evaluation Arena at the sa ti, advancing through various levels.
The leaders of all the small groups sat waiting in their respective base camps, their hearts in their throats.
The performance of the newcors would affect their own appraisal results.
Fifteen minutes passed, and the quality of every group began to clearly display.
So groups already had five people return, many having earned Level D—a commonplace achievent for newcors.
The common worst for newcors is Level F, their goal is usually Level C, anything above that was unthinkable.
Suddenly, a loud bang! The first salute sounded!
All group leaders stood up, their eyes bulging as they scrutinized which colored salute this was!
Then they turned to look at the public display screen!
