Chapter 1580
At this mont, a security guard pulled a trolley in and asked Evelyn Thompson, "Madam, these are all the young master’s birthday gifts, where would you like us to place them?"
Evelyn Thompson approached to take a look. Surprised, she asked, "Why are there so many delivered gifts?"
As soon as she finished asking, she noticed a familiar na on it and imdiately frowned.
She called out, "Husband, co over here."
Upon hearing her call, William Foster approached, "What’s wrong?"
"Look, isn’t this a delegate from the Alliance? President Matsushima from Ryoto, why would he send a gift to our Alex?"
"Impossible, since Alex quit the Alliance two years ago, we’ve had no contact with them." William Foster replied as he took the gift to examine.
Sure enough, the parcel was marked with President Matsushima’s personal information.
Not only that, they quickly discovered that other gifts also ca from other mbers within the Alliance, those who announced their alliance with the Whites more than two years ago and had estranged themselves from the Fosters ever since.
Why were they acting out of character today?
William Foster called Alexander Foster over to discuss this matter.
After they finished inflating the balloons, they ca downstairs. After a quick look, they didn’t seem surprised.
Alexander said, "A few days ago, I received their invitation asking to re-contest the chief position."
"What was your response?" William Foster asked, his brows slightly furrowed. In truth, he already had a hunch for the answer.
As expected, Alexander’s answer did not surprise him greatly, "I turned them down. I won’t go back on my word."
"Honestly, given the current situation, it wouldn’t be a bad idea for us to return. Your grandfather seems to think so too. After all, having a seat in the Alliance would greatly bolster the Fosters. They have probably fallen out due to Milton White’s incident, and hence have turned towards us. You should consider their proposal seriously," William Foster suggested.
"Dad, we’ve already given it so thought. You’re right, this is a great opportunity and we’re not going to let it slip away," Chloe Collins chid in.
"Oh?" Intrigued by their confidence, William Foster couldn’t help but wonder what kind of plan they have co up with.
Sharing a look and a knowing smile, Chloe and Alexander then declared, "To establish a new alliance."
"Indeed. The present Alliance will certainly remain under the Whites’ control. Even if I return, it will be an uphill battle. Instead, setting up a new alliance and inviting them seems like a better idea," Alexander added.
With a slow nod, Alexander said, "I have planned for this two years ago, waiting for an opportunity like today."
Chloe nodded in agreent.
William Foster looked closely at their faces before nodding in agreent. "Since you both will be running the company, I’ll support your decision."
"Tomorrow, I, along with my older brother, and younger brother, will make a visit to several highly respected Elders. If they are willing to join, it won’t be a problem to get others on board," Alexander continued.
Before he could finish, Chloe raised her hand, "I’ll go too."
"You should take good care of your pregnancy at ho. I’ve already spoken to Charles, he will represent you," he advised gently.
"Yes, Chlo-Chlo, stay at ho and take care of yourself. I’ll keep you company," Evelyn Thompson, extrely worried, quickly held onto her hand, afraid she might slip away.
Upon consideration, Chloe agreed as she didn’t necessarily have to be there in person for this matter.

Two days later, at the Collinses’.
Tristan Collins was worried sick about Joy Taylor, so much that he couldn’t sleep for days. On the rare occasion he fell asleep, he was jerked awake midway by a nightmare.
