Upon hearing this, Robert Foster said, "No need, Sister-in-law. I will take care of her. I will make sure she is well cared for."
"Are you planning on bringing her back to the Fosters’?"
Robert Foster is currently living in Feng Mansion, though he spends most of his ti in the army. However, he still cos ho during his rest day.
Robert Foster nodded, his eyes determined, "I have thought it through this ti. I will protect her."
She tightened her hold on the girl’s hand, while the girl seed not to understand, her gaze fixed on his hand, his ring, lost in her own world.
Alexander Foster said: "As long as you have thought it through. The woman you set your heart on, you should protect her even if it costs you your life."
Robert Foster nodded: "I understand, Brother. I won’t be that weak in the future."
Watching the two of them walking towards Feng Mansion, Chloe Collins was still worried. She changed her mind: "Let’s stay at ho tonight. It’s already late anyway."
Alexander laughed lightly: "It only takes twelve minutes to walk ho from here."
Chloe Collins raised an eyebrow, heading straight into Feng Mansion: "Then you can go ho by yourself."
The man couldn’t help but laugh: "You’re impossible."
When all four of them returned to the East Wing, Mr. and Mrs. Evelyn Thompson were watching the evening news, discussing matters related to their children.
When they saw Chloe Collins and her husband, they were overjoyed. They thought the newlyweds would be absent for a while, they were just about to engage Chloe in a lively conversation when they suddenly saw Wanda Wesley, and they were so startled they couldn’t utter a word.
They didn’t know why Wanda had disappeared, only that she had been missing for two years. They had assud she had gone abroad for studies due to her incident with Robert Foster. Seeing her suddenly, Evelyn’s tears began to fall.
This matter had always been a painful one in her heart.
She didn’t have any high expectations regarding her children’s love affairs. As long as it was consensual, it was fine. But that year, watching as the Master forcibly separated the pair, she felt powerless. Every ti she thought of that, she would lie in bed at night unable to sleep.
However, she quickly noticed sothing was wrong with Wanda.
The girl didn’t speak, didn’t react.
Fearing to startle her, Robert promptly took her to settle down in the guest room.
After the two of them left, Evelyn hurriedly asked Chloe: "What happened to Wandy?"
Chloe lightly glossed over it: "She had a bit of an incident, she doesn’t recognize any of us now. Fortunately, she still has a special connection with Robert."
William Foster’s expression was serious: "Amnesia?"
"You could say that, but it’s not just that."
Evelyn was now incredibly worried: "What can we do? This poor child, she’s suffered so much already."
"Mom." Chloe Collins called her.
Evelyn’s gaze softened, "Mm?"
"I want to ask sothing of you."
"Go ahead."
"We’re all family, so there’s no harm in saying it." William also looked kindly at her.
"No matter what Grandfather says, or does, please support them this ti."
Evelyn smiled: "Of course, we’ve never been against them."
"As long as they are firm, we won’t say more." William added.
Chloe Collins finally felt reassured.
These were the little things she could secure for Wanda.
She knew that the Master was still not fully acknowledging her, but they had gotten their marriage certificate, there’s nothing the Master could do but ignore it.
However, it was different with Wanda.
The Master’s strike against Wanda was no less than what she had received. It’s simply that Wanda was incredibly sensitive and was easily hurt.
She did not want to see a repeat of the incident two years ago.
Moreover, considering Wanda’s current condition, if the Master were to suppress her again, things could turn out quite bad.
