Chapter 1159

She parked the car and followed him inside.

Nathaniel Nolan led her to a reception room and asked her to wait for a mont.

Unfortunately, he ran into several directors of the research labs who were chatting. Two of them were notoriously stuffy and strict.

Since they were already there, he took a deep breath and knocked on the door to enter.

"Professor Rocker."

As an experienced professor, Shane Rocker was the director of the Robotics Research and Developnt Laboratory.

"Nathaniel’s here." He looked at him with an appreciative gaze.

The other uncles also had gentle eyes, apparently admiring young talent.

"Professor, she is here."

Professor Rocker’s smile faltered slightly, and after so thought, he pressed the intercom to arrange for the examination.

Nathaniel Nolan let out a sigh of relief, "Thank you, Professor."

"Don’t thank now. The test is quite challenging. If she doesn’t pass, tell her not to get discouraged. She can still participate in more competitions. There are still chances."

Nathaniel Nolan smiled, "She will pass."

"She needs to score at least eighty to pass," Shane Rocker reminded him.

"She will!"

Nathaniel Nolan gave a light bow and walked out with steady steps.

The director of the Photochemistry Laboratory asked, "A test?"

"Are they recruiting? That’s not the right ti, is it?" Another director drinking tea also asked.

Shane Rocker thoughtfully replied, "It’s the candidate Nathaniel has been recomnding. He started talking to about her last year. She has good grades. Ah, she’s the one who topped the college entrance exam this year and made it to the news."

"Oh, Chloe Collins," the man nodded, "She’s talented, it’s good to bring her in."

"Too bad."

"How co?"

"She hasn’t participated in any science competitions, not even ones similar to them. She has no awards or certificates. She doesn’t et the standard."

The other two fell silent.

Shane Rocker, "But since Nathaniel recomnds her so highly, I’ll give her a chance."

"Is the test difficult?"

Shane Rocker nodded, "Yes, very. Even PhD students may not be able to get sixty. I just want to make her understand how difficult it is."

"Old Rocker, wouldn’t that be too harsh?" The third director comnted in a deep voice, "Certificates aren’t everything. It’s mainly about her personal ability. If you deliberately make it hard for her and miss a potentially great talent, that would be a sha."

Before he finished, a rather serious professor interjected, "That’s not the case. For those involved in scientific research, rigor is crucial. The initial regulations were not set for nothing. If we broke the rules for her, it wouldn’t be fair for the other students who are eager to co in."

"Old Rocker, I agree with you. Let her learn for now. After a year, see how it goes. anwhile, let the teachers pay more attention to her and guide her to participate in so competitions and win an award. If she can’t even do that, then she doesn’t qualify."

Seeing many people agree, Shane Rocker felt pleased.

"What if she passes the test but doesn’t win any awards? What then?" The third director asked.

The other three looked at each other and smiled, a warm and hearty smile.

Shane Rocker’s silver teeth showed as he laughed.

"As I just said, even PhD students might not get a passing score on that test. If she wants to pass, she needs to get at least eighty."

"I an, what if."

Shane Rocker rubbed his chin, considered for a mont, and said, "If she passes, we can bring her in. The platform managent departnt is short-staffed."

"Is that... appropriate?"

"It’s quite suitable. She can learn things there and it won’t affect our progress."
