When lissa left Dr. Carl’s office, she imdiately sought Sasha’s presence to give her the good news.
lissa entered the ward. She pulled Sasha’s hand as they sat down.
"Sasha, Great news! Dr. Carl agreed to do the sperm extraction!" Her voice was loud and cheerful.
Sasha’s eyes lit up when she heard that.
"Really? Will he do it today?" Sasha asked expectantly.
"Not today. But tomorrow. You only need to show him Dominique’s written consent."
Sasha was taken aback for a mont.
"But... I don’t have it."
"You can fake the waiver, make it look like Dominique had signed it before the accident!" lissa suggested.
Sasha nodded. "Did you ask him to keep it a secret?"
"Yes. I asked him to make it confidential." lissa reassured her.
Sasha heaved a sigh of relief. It looked like she really found a good friend who was willing to support and assist her.
"Thank you so much, l. I owe you this." Sasha hugged her.
lissa giggled as she hugged her back. "No need to ntion it. You are my friend. I only wish for you to be happy."
"Don’t worry. I will compensate him once things go well. I can’t wait to have a child with Dominique." Sasha smiled with a dreamy look in her eyes.
lissa tapped her shoulder. "Think positive. The artificial insemination will be a success!"
"You can do the physical check-up today," she added.
As the two ladies were talking excitedly inside the ward, they didn’t notice that soone had overheard their conversation. It was Gael. He was there because of his promise to Aaron.
He was supposed to visit and check on Dominique’s condition when he accidentally overheard their conversation. He didn’t expect that Sasha and lissa were up to sothing.
"What the hell? They are doing Artificial Insemination without Dominique’s consent? What is going on here?" Gael mumbled to himself.
Instead of knocking on the door, Gael walked away. He decided to confront Dr. Carl about this.
It did not take long before he reached Dr. Carl’s office.
"Mr. CEO, what are you doing here?" Dr. Carl was surprised when he saw Gael enter his office.
"Dr. Carl, we need to talk."
The doctor suddenly beca anxious after hearing Gael’s serious tone. He didn’t know if he did sothing to offend him.
’Is he going to reprimand ? Our CEO looks very serious today.’
"Are you acquainted with Sasha Smith?" Gael asked him.
"No, Sir. Why do you ask?" Dr. Carl blinked in confusion.
"Did she approach you about sothing?" Gael was interrogating the doctor.
)
"Not her. But my classmate, Dr. lissa." Dr. Carl had no choice but to answer their CEO’s queries.
"Tell what they want?"
Dr. Carl fell silent. He was confused as to why Gael was curious about what lissa had asked him.
However since Gael was the Big Boss of this hospital, he couldn’t defy him despite the fact lissa asked him not to tell anyone.
"I’m going to do sperm extraction tomorrow for Artificial Insemination. The married couple seems like they want a child through this thod."
Gael frowned after confirming Sasha’s plan. ’Why do they have to do artificial insemination? Does it an Dominique and Sasha are not having sexual intercourse?’
Gael didn’t know how he would react to this.
"Thank you for telling the truth, Dr. Carl. What ti are you going to do the extraction tomorrow."
"I already booked the operating room tomorrow at 10:00 am, sir. Do you have any concerns about this?" Dr. Carl wanted to make sure that Gael was not mad at him.
"Nothing more."
After saying that, Gael left Dr. Carl’s office. He had conflicting thoughts right now.
"Should I inform Athena about this or not?" He was in a dilemma. He knew that Sasha was plotting sothing. Since he didn’t care about Dominique, he thought he shouldn’t get involved in this.
However, Gael realized that Athena’s goal was to destroy Sasha’s marriage with Dominique. If Sasha got pregnant with his child, then Dominique might never file a divorce and not leave Sasha. This pregnancy would ruin Athena’s plan.
’Damn it! I have no choice but to inform Athena. But... I wonder how she will react if she finds out Dominique and Sasha are not engaging in sexual intercourse as husband and wife.’
Gael hesitated once again. He was afraid that Athena’s resolve to do her revenge against Dominique might waver.
"Sigh. I have to trust, Athena. I know she hates Dominique for deceiving her family and betraying her. I will let her decide about what we should do on this matter."
When Gael made up his mind, he imdiately contacted Athena.
Gael’s ssage: [ Athena, are you free tonight? I’m going to visit your place. There is sothing I need to tell you. ]
A few seconds later, Gael received Athena’s reply.
Athena’s ssage: [ Yes. You can see at my penthouse. By the way, do you have any news about Dominique’s condition? How is he? ]
Gael’s eyes turned sad after reading Athena’s ssage. He could tell that she was still worried about Dominique.
’Sigh. I am not certain if Sabrina has no feelings left for Dominique. Why am I getting anxious about this?’
Taking a deep sigh, Gael composed his ssage, typing his reply to Athena.
Gael’s ssage: [ He is still unconscious but I think his condition is now stable. I’m going to talk to his doctor to find out more. You can reassure Aaron that Dominique will be fine. He is out of danger now. ]
Athena’s ssage: [ Thanks, Gael. ]

[ Evening: At Athena’s Penthouse... ]
In the living room...
Athena and Gael sat side by side on the couch. He observed her for a mont, noticing that she was spacing out. Her mind was still preoccupied with the complicated situation related to Miguel Ivankov, the children, Dominique, and Lanny.
"Athena, are you okay? What are you thinking?"
Gael’s voice snapped her back to the present. Athena smiled faintly and shook her head.
"Nothing. So what do you want to talk to about, Gael?"
"It’s about Sasha’s plan. I think she is trying to get pregnant by using the artificial insemination thod. They will extract Dominique’s sperm tomorrow. I assu that Dominique didn’t give her permission to do it. But Sasha is grabbing this opportunity while Dominique is still unconscious."
"What? Artificial Insemination?" Athena was shocked beyond belief when she heard that. "But why?"
