Enzo went to grab so snacks for Lanny, but her last words kept replaying in his mind.

"I don’t think it’s nothing. She would never bring it up without a valid reason. Does Alice know Dominique?" he pondered, a frown creasing his forehead.

He was so absorbed in his thoughts that he forgot about the coffee he was pouring into the cup. It overflowed, spilling onto the counter.

"Urgh!" Enzo exclaid, snapping back to reality. He quickly grabbed a napkin to clean up the ss. "Focus, Enzo," he muttered to himself. He finished preparing the snacks, carefully arranging them on a tray along with a fresh cup of coffee.

Yohan was stealing glances at him from ti to ti, grinning broadly. He even whispered sothing to their manager.

"I have a bad feeling. I hope I’m not the one they are talking about." He mumbled before leaving the counter.

As he made his way back to Lanny, he couldn’t shake the nagging thoughts about Alice and Dominique. "I need to find out more," he decided. "This might be more complicated than it seems."

Enzo reached Lanny, placing the tray on the table. "Here are your snacks," he said with a forced smile, trying to hide his concerns.

Lanny looked up, smiling back at him. "Thank you, Enzo. So how’s your work here so far? Are you having fun?"

Enzo nodded and took a seat beside her. "Yes, I’m enjoying my ti here. I’m truly grateful to you and Vladimir for giving this job. But Alice has been encouraging to find a new job, suggesting that working in an office like I used to do might help recover my mories."

Lanny agreed. "I think Alice is right. You should do things you used to do before."

Enzo took a bite of his bread and just observed Lanny as she enjoyed her snacks and hot coffee. While watching Lanny, soone popped up in his mind.

He couldn’t help but smile when he rembered his encounter with a cute young girl.

"You know what, Lanny? I t soone a few days ago who looks a lot like you. Even her feisty attitude reminded of you. If you had a daughter, I’d swear she was yours. The resemblance is uncanny," Enzo chuckled giddily.

Lanny stopped eating and glanced at him with amusent. "Really? I thought you found my twin sister." She cracked so jokes.

Enzo shook his head. "No. She is much younger. Maybe four years old. And the funny thing is... the young girl offered to be her adoptive father. She is so bold like you yet innocent." He let out another chuckle.

Lanny: "..."

Lanny blinked, absorbing his words. Kimmy imdiately flashed in her mind. ’I do have a four-year-old daughter,’ she thought. ’But there’s no way he could have t her. Kimmy isn’t here.’

"Funny little kid, indeed. So, what’s her na?" Lanny asked.

"Hmm. Let think... I believe she said her na was Kimmy!" Enzo replied.

"Cough! Cough!" Lanny choked on her coffee as soon as he ntioned that na.

"Hey, are you okay?" Enzo tapped her back and handed her a tissue.

’Kimmy?! No way! I hope she isn’t the Kimmy I know,’ Lanny thought, her mind racing.

anwhile, at the entrance of the Goddess Elixir Cafe, a cute young girl in a jumper suit walked in with her nanny.

"Young Miss, are you sure this is the right place?" Nanny Shao-Shao asked Kimmy.

"Yes. Nanny Shao-Shao!" Kimmy declared. "See. This is the flyer he gave to . Goddess Elixir Cafe. Let’s go and search for my Daddy."

Nanny Shao-Shao could only smile awkwardly while following Kimmy.

A few days ago, Kimmy ntioned about the guy she t in the mall. She said she offered him to be her adoptive Daddy. And she was going to visit him today to hear his answer regarding her offer.

Nanny Shao-Shao thought Kimmy was just joking, but the young miss was serious and determined to hear the stranger’s answer. Although she doubted the man would take Kimmy’s words seriously, Nanny Shao-Shao had no choice but to accompany her.

Kimmy excitedly ran to the counter, catching the attention of Yohan, one of the staff.

"Hello, little girl. What can I do for you? Do you want to order cake or refreshnts?" Yohan entertained Kimmy.

"Oh, I’m buying later. But for now, I ca here to visit my dad," Kimmy declared, confusing Yohan.

He looked around, puzzled. Every staff mber in the cafe was single. "Are you sure your dad is here?" Yohan asked again, glancing at Nanny Shao-Shao for clarification.

"Hmm, we’re here to visit her friend. She just calls him Daddy," Nanny Shao-Shao explained.

"Hey, Nanny Shao-Shao! He’s not my friend. He will be my Daddy. I will adopt him!" Kimmy retorted, folding her arms over her chest.

Nanny Shao-Shao and Yohan could only smile, choosing not to contradict the little girl.

"So what’s the na of your Dad?" Yohan asked, playing along with her.

Kimmy’s face brightened up when she heard that. "His na is Enzo. Is he here?" She scanned the cafe eagerly, but Enzo was nowhere to be seen.

Yohan was stunned when Enzo’s na was ntioned. ’Seems like Enzo has a knack for attracting blonde girls, like this young girl and Lady Boss, Lanny,’ he mused to himself.

"Yes. Enzo is here. He is on the second floor, chatting with our Lady Boss," Yohan replied.

Kimmy didn’t hesitate. She was beaming with enthusiasm, her small feet carrying her swiftly towards the staircase leading to the second floor. Nanny Shao-Shao followed closely behind, trying to keep up with Kimmy’s boundless energy.

As they reached the top of the stairs, Kimmy scanned the area eagerly, her eyes searching for Enzo. There were only two people on the second floor so she spotted him right away near a corner table, engrossed in conversation with a woman who appeared to be the Lady Boss. Their backs were facing Kimmy so she didn’t recognize Lanny at first.

"There he is!" Kimmy exclaid, her voice ringing with delight. She darted towards Enzo, her ponytail bouncing with each step.

"Daddy!!!" Kimmy’s sudden scream echoed through the cafe, drawing the attention of both Enzo and the Lady Boss.

Startled, Enzo and the Lady Boss turned towards the source of the voice, their expressions shifting to surprise as they laid eyes on Kimmy.
