Knowing his eldest twin son's tendency, Jin Liwei imdiately turned his body, effectively blocking Little Mochi. Jin Liwei knew that his wife's heart would always soften once any of their children gave her a pitiful look. As the disciplinarian of the family, Jin Liwei had the duty to reduce the instances when his children could use their mother's soft heart to get their way.
He succeeded. At least, for today.
Iris Long failed to catch her eldest twin son's pitiful look.
Little Mochi pouted and was about to howl at the top of his lungs but caught his daddy's scary expression. He whined but didn't dare to continue. To ease his irritation, the baby once again began rubbing his face against his daddy's neck.
Jin Liwei sighed but didn't scold his eldest twin son and allowed the baby to rub his face against his neck for all he wanted. Little Mochi's face was soft anyway, so it didn't hurt at all.
As long as the baby was doing it to him and not to his wife, Jin Liwei wouldn't stop Little Mochi from doing this weird hobby that he recently acquired. Even when Little Mochi's movents beca rougher and harder, Jin Liwei let him be. He could take it anyway.
On the other hand, Little Matcha didn't protest as usual. He only rested his head on his daddy's broad shoulder while looking at his mommy. He wasn't bothered at all by his twin brother's rough movents on their daddy's other side. As long as he wasn't hit, Little Matcha was cool with anything.
As the family walked together, Iris continued chattering about the fact that actual stars were the nasake of her own children.
"We should send Grandpa Lu's astronor friend a handwritten thank you card," she said. "What do you think, darling?"
"En. Good idea."
As soon as they reached the master suite, Iris hurried to where she kept so greeting cards.
"Darling, go get the instant cara. Let's take a photo with the children and send it along with the handwritten card."
"Okay." He put the babies on the carpet and handed them so toys before searching for the instant cara.
"Ketchup, tell your Uncle Dom to bring Ketchup, Popcorn, Pudding and Chowder to the master suite."
"Aye aye, Mommy! The cute and mighty Ketchup is on it. ow~"
"You and Bacon should also prepare yourselves, we'll take a family photo shortly."
"Yay yay! Ketchup is super-duper to the highest level excited. ow!!!"
"Did you call Bacon, Mother?" Bacon's polite yet childish voice sounded.
"Yes," Iris replied. "Stay here for a while, Bacon. We're going to take a family photo."
"Understood, Mother. Should Bacon wear a nice bowtie? I think it would be classy."
Her eyes lit up. "Yes. Show ."
The large flat TV screen flickered on. Ketchup and Bacon appeared side by side.
"Mother, what do you think of this bowtie?"
A white bowtie appeared around Bacon's neck.
Iris tilted her head to the side. "Hmmm."
Jin Liwei appeared with the instant cara at this ti. He saw his black cat AI son turning around to show off a white bowtie.
"Too plain," Jin Liwei couldn't help but comnt.
"Yes, yes! That white bowtie is too plain, Bacon! ow~" Ketchup wiggled her fluffy butt as she teased her younger brother.
Bacon licked his fluffy front paw and gave his older sister a side-eye. "You're white, so does that an that you're plain, too?"
"Mreow?! Bacon, you big anie! Don't you know that the colour white ans purity and perfection just like the pure and perfect Ketchup? ow!!!" Ketchup was about to pounce on her AI brother but Jin Liwei interrupted her.
"That's enough, you two. Don't quarrel in front of your mom."
Iris smiled. "Just wear whatever bowtie you want, Bacon. Mom will love it no matter what."
"Understood, Mother."
In the next second, the white bowtie changed into a pure-black bowtie.
"Ketchup can't see any bowtie! owahahaha!"
Bacon ignored her. His golden eyes glowed. In the next second, the pure-black bowtie gained a golden iridescence that matched his glowing gold eyes.
"Gasp! That's so cool, Bacon! The cute and mighty Ketchup wants a ribbon like that, too! ow~"
The white cat AI skipped around her AI brother.
Bacon ignored his annoying AI sister. "What do you think about Bacon's bowtie now, Mother? Is it classy?"
"It's beautiful, Bacon." Iris' praise wasn't just lip service. She really thought that Bacon's golden-black bowtie was beautiful.
Bacon's black fluffy tail rotated like helicopter blades.
"Mommy, mommy, the cute and mighty Ketchup wants to wear a beautiful ribbon," Ketchup said next. "A pink one! ow!"
Before Iris could reply, a gloriously large ribbon appeared around Ketchup's neck. The colour was also gloriously bright pink.
Iris' eyes hurt a little while looking at it. "Ketchup, how about toning it down?"
"Like this, Mommy? ow~"
The super bright pink shifted into a lovely blush pink.
"That's better." Iris released a sigh of relief.
"Yay yay! The cute and mighty Ketchup is 150 tis cuter than before. ow~"
Bacon sneered.
At this ti, there was a knock on the door before it opened. In walked Dom who was carrying a fat and lazy Ice Cream. An orange cannon shot forward from behind him.
Jin Liwei caught Popcorn who imdiately started begging for attention.
The two German Shepherd guard dogs, Pudding and Chowder, trotted inside and imdiately positioned themselves in a protective position beside the twins.
"Dom, help us take a family photo with the instant cara," Iris said. "We'll send it with the thank you card for Grandpa Lu's astronor friend."
"Sure thing, Boss!" Dom saluted and took the instant cara from Jin Liwei.
In the anti, Iris began writing on a greeting card that she carefully chose. It was a simple thank-you letter with three sentences. Brief and concise.
She signed her na before urging her husband to do the sa.
While Jin Liwei signed his na, Iris spread so washable paint on her twin sons' palms. Then she pressed their hands on the blank part of the card. Afterwards, she wrote "Haoyu" on Little Mochi's palm print and "Lingyu" on Little Matcha's palm print.
