Chapter 94- Loose Tongue

Tyler's POV

I couldn't even speak.

My mouth was open, but no words ca out.

I was still caught off guard, still trying to process what the hell Naomi had just done.

What the fuck is her problem?

Didn't she just promise she'd keep her mouth shut about Logan? Didn't she swear she wouldn't say anything to piss him off?

And now here she is—casually agreeing that Logan and I had sothing secret.

You know the worst part?

I haven't even admitted that to her yet.

And yet, she's already selling the story like she's my damn spokesperson.

The second the words left her mouth, she grinned.

Like she had just dropped the juiciest bomb in history.

And honestly?

I wasn't even surprised.

Because with the kind of person Naomi was, of course she'd be grinning like a damn clown.

Because guess what?

She is a clown.

What in the actual fuck is wrong with her?

She wasn't even the one being questioned, so why couldn't she just shut up?

Hell, even if she was involved, why couldn't she still shut up and let handle my own business?

But that?

That would be like asking Naomi to drop dead.

She would never do it.

She would never just sit back and let take care of my own shit.

Instead, she'd run her mouth until she ruined everything I worked for.

And now Logan?

He was probably wondering how the hell Naomi found out so fast.

Which, honestly?

He deserved.

Wasn't he the sa one who threatened ? Told to tell Naomi or else he'd fuck her, just to make a point?

Yeah.

So, really, he had no right to start asking questions now.

Bullshit.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I forgot where I was.

Forgot the ss Naomi had just thrown into.

And now?

Now I just had to pray—pray that Logan wouldn't agree with what she said.

Because if he did?

Naomi would never let hear the end of it.

And knowing her?

She'd make up details that never even happened.

Snap.

A hand flicked in front of my face.

I blinked, coming back to reality.

And of course—

Drumrolls...

Naomi.

Not only had she just exposed —

She had the audacity to snap back to reality.

Unbelievable.

Naomi really does have a gift.

I glared at her, my mind racing.

How the hell was I going to get out of this?

I had two choices.

If I denied it, I'd still be on Logan's radar, but at least Naomi would back off.

If I agreed to it, Logan would leave alone, but Naomi?

She would never stop.

And honestly?

I'd rather deal with Logan than her.

"Hello?!" Naomi snapped her fingers again. "Wouldn't you back up on what I just said?"

I gave her a blank stare.

She leaned in, lowering her voice slightly. "Because Logan doesn't believe I know you two fucked." She smiled, raising her hands dramatically. "He thinks you wouldn't tell ."

I swear to God—

Who in the actual fuck told Naomi that Logan and I—?!

This girl was trying to get killed.

She was only supposed to say we had a secret relationship.

That's it.

But now?

She was adding her own spice, throwing in details that never even happened.

She was still grinning, still waiting for to confirm her little story.

I was so screwed.

"Naomi, how many tis do I have to tell you to shut up and stop talking when sothing doesn't concern you?" My voice was sharp.

"Why the hell are you doing more than yourself?"

I was still glaring at her, my patience completely gone.

But Naomi?

She didn't even flinch.

"Tyler, you don't have to be mad at ," she said, her voice sickeningly sweet. "Trust , I was minding my business. I swore not to speak on things that don't concern , but this—" she gestured around dramatically, "this concerns a lot."

I narrowed my eyes.

Bullshit.

"If it didn't concern ," she continued, "then why did Logan co here? Hmm? He ca to confirm whether or not you told about what you two did in secret. And that, my dear, concerns ." She smirked. "So, of course, I had to speak up. And yes, you did tell what you both did in secret."

Naomi lifted her chin, crossing her arms like she had just won so sort of debate.

"Trust , Tyler," she added, her tone almost offended, "I would never talk about sothing that doesn't concern ."

I almost laughed.

The audacity of this girl.

She just did exactly what she claid she wouldn't do.

And as if that wasn't bad enough—

She had also gone ahead and told Logan that I admitted to us having sex.

Which—

When the hell did I ever tell her that?!

Why was she acting like she was my spokesperson?

Why was she doing pass herself?

I barely had ti to process it before Logan cleared his throat.

If there was one thing I knew about Logan—

It was that he never cleared his throat unless he was about to drop a bomb.

And sure enough—

"Tyler," he said, his voice slow , "I don't rember telling you to tell her that we had sex."

I swallowed.

Shit.

"In fact—" Logan continued, his tone darkening, "I don't even rember the both of us having sex."

"So," Logan went on, turning slightly toward Naomi, "why is she suddenly saying that we both had sex—when we never did?"

Logan had heard Naomi loud and clear.

Slowly, I turned to her.

Her face was still smug.

I stepped closer, lowering my voice just enough to make her squirm.

"Naomi," I said, "do you mind explaining to the public when exactly I told you any of those things?"

I tilted my head, giving her a smile that didn't reach my eyes.

She blinked.

"Um... Em... Em..." she stamred.

I almost burst out laughing.

Oh, now she wanted to choke on her own words?

The sa Naomi that had been running her mouth like she was on a talk show?

Now she was suddenly mute?

She deserved this.

If she had just kept her mouth shut and let handle it, we wouldn't even be in this situation.

But she wanted to handle it herself.

She had to deal with it.

Then—

Logan spoke again.

"First of all, Naomi," he said, his tone unreadable, "I don't rember having anything with Tyler that involved sex or romance."

I swallowed hard.

Oh, this wasn't going to end well.

Logan leaned forward slightly, his eyes locked onto Naomi's.

"You don't even know if the 'sothing sexual' I had with Tyler was fucking his slut of a girlfriend."

My breath hitched.

The rage that shot through was instant.

Did he really just—

Did he really just say that?!

Logan smirked, watching my reaction.

"You don't even know if that's what I told him to tell you," he continued smoothly, "just so he could be mocked for not being able to keep his own girl."

I clenched my jaw so tight it hurt.

I wanted to hit him.

So badly but I had to control my self because I do not want to be added to any of these situations.

"But you—" he said, his gaze flicking back to Naomi, "you chose to conclude that the only 'sexual' thing I could've been talking about was having sex with him."

Logan's smirk disappeared.

"Do you know," he said, his tone deadly calm, "that I could get your ass sued and take everything you have ever had because of this accusation?"
