Chapter 86- A War She can't win
Logan's POV
I didn't wait for Tyler to say anything. Not an explanation. Not an apology. Nothing.
The second I threatened him, I walked away. There was nothing he could say right now that would fix what he had done. It was already too late. He either did what needed to be done, or he was going to hate himself for not doing it.
I was halfway to class when I realized sothing was missing. My notebook.
Shit.
I rembered now—Tyler had grabbed it when he pulled out of class.
I exhaled sharply, already irritated. Now, I had to go back and get it from that little bastard.
Turning on my heel, I retraced my steps toward the classroom.
When I got there, Tyler was still inside, pacing like a nervous wreck, running his fingers through his hair.
I didn't care.
I didn't acknowledge him, didn't say a word. I walked straight up to him, yanked my book out of his hands, and turned to leave.
"Logan, wait—"
I kept walking.
I wasn't interested in whatever the hell he had to say. He should save his breath—he was going to need it when he called Naomi to tell her about the ss she had just made for herself.
Next ti, he'd learn not to accuse innocent people of shit they didn't do.
When I got back to class, I noticed the other students were still there, talking in hushed voices. So of them glanced in my direction.
I ignored them and sat down, tossing my notebook on the desk. There was nothing to say. Nothing to explain.
Then I felt it.
A few more pairs of eyes locked onto .
I looked up.
A small group of students were staring at , whispering to each other like they thought I wouldn't notice.
They clearly had no idea what I was capable of.
Tyler thought he had it bad? These idiots would have it worse if they kept testing my patience. I wouldn't just threaten them—I would make their lives a living hell.
They had no idea who they were dealing with.
I took a deep breath, pushing the annoyance aside, and pulled out my phone. I needed sothing—anything—to distract .
I scrolled mindlessly, not even paying attention to what I was looking at, until sothing caught my eye.
A post in the school's blog group chat.
The title alone was enough to make my brows furrow.
I clicked on it.
It was a video.
Of Naomi.
I frowned.
She was new to this school. How the hell was she already on the blog?
Being on the school blog was never a good thing.
I tapped the play button, and the video started.
Naomi was sitting in class, laughing.
The tistamp showed that it had just been recorded. Probably right after she left and Tyler in that dark classroom.
Then she started talking.
"A certain soone needs to back off and leave my boyfriend alone."
I clenched my jaw.
I already knew who she was talking about.
.
She started this. She had no idea what she had just done to herself.
The video continued playing.
"There's this guy," Naomi said. "He has a crush on Tyler, but he won't leave him alone. Tyler can't even focus on properly because of him. I'm addressing this here so that he sees it. If he doesn't back off, I'm going to make his life a living hell."
I scoffed.
She really thought she could threaten ?
She wasn't done.
"I'll start by exposing who he really is. The whole school will know, and trust , when I'm done with him, he'll be nothing but dust."
That was it. That was when I burst out laughing.
It was so fucking funny to .
This girl was an absolute disaster.
I swear, Naomi must have a talent for making her own life difficult. It's like she wakes up every morning and asks herself, How can I cause unnecessary drama today?
Imagine Tyler, the poor idiot, trying to clean up the ss she made, and instead of being grateful, she goes and dumps herself into an even bigger disaster. It's almost impressive how effortlessly she attracts chaos.
I leaned back in my chair, shaking my head. "I've never seen anyone like her," I muttered under my breath. It's as if her body is a damn magnet for problems. Any trouble within a ten-mile radius just naturally gravitates toward her.
And for what? What the hell was she thinking when she pulled out her phone, recorded that ridiculous video, and posted it? The school blog wasted no ti in picking it up and spreading it everywhere. Did she think this was so kind of reality show?
At this point, she might as well just hand the school blog her nudes so they can post those too, since she's so determined to put herself on display. Honestly, I doubt there's much to see anyway.
I kept watching the video, replaying it just for the sheer entertainnt of how stupid it was. Every ti I saw her fake confidence, acting like she had so kind of power over , I laughed harder.
That was when I felt it. A presence standing in front of .
I already knew who it was before I even looked up. The air around suddenly slled...bitchy. There was only one person who carried that specific brand of fake perfu and bad attitude.
Naomi.
The one and only. The girl who refused to keep her pretty little mouth shut.
She slamd her hand down on my desk, making my phone shake.
"Logan," she snapped, her voice sharp.
I didn't react. I didn't even look up. I just kept scrolling through my phone, pretending she didn't exist.
She called my na again, but I still ignored her. I wasn't about to give her the satisfaction of thinking she had my attention.
At this point, I started wondering if she was okay in the head. Tyler had told their whole 'relationship' was fake, just so act to get people off his back. But Naomi? She was treating this like so damn war.
Why was she so obsessed with making everyone miserable?
And I was absolutely sure that Tyler hadn't sent her to do this. This wasn't his style. No, Naomi was acting on her own, being extra as usual. She was going above and beyond to prove...what, exactly? That she was the queen of pettiness?
She snapped her fingers in my face, her nails nearly scratching my skin.
"Can't you hear ?" she hissed.
That was it.
I clenched my jaw, my patience running dangerously thin. She was really pushing it now.
I took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. I still didn't say anything. I still didn't look at her.
If she had any common sense, she would've walked away by now. She would've realized that I wasn't interested in whatever nonsense she ca here to spit.
But Naomi wasn't smart like that.
Instead, she doubled down.
"Logan, or whatever your na is." Her voice was dripping with fake confidence. "I'm sure you've seen the video I made. The one the school blog posted?"
I kept my face blank, my fingers casually scrolling through my phone.
She exhaled loudly, clearly frustrated that I wasn't reacting the way she wanted.
"I know you can hear ," she continued. "You're just refusing to say anything."
No shit.
"I just want to give you a physical warning."
That finally made pause.
A physical warning?
I tilted my head slightly, waiting for her to finish her little speech.
She folded her arms across her chest, staring down like she thought she was intimidating.
"Stay away from Tyler," she said, her voice firm. "He's my man. Stop threatening him, or I swear, I'll make sure the whole school knows exactly who you are."
She leaned in closer. "And trust , they're going to hate you."
