Chapter 125- No Escape

Tyler's POV

It was at this mont she knew she fucked up.

I stared at Naomi, my jaw practically on the floor. Oh wow. So she wasn't straight all this while? Then why the hell has she been flirting with ? Acting like she wanted ? Was she playing so kind of ga?

No doubt she found out Logan wasn't straight too. The way she figured it out so fast... it was almost scary. Logan hid it so well that even people close to him couldn't tell, but Naomi? She barely knew him for a day and cracked the damn code. Just like that.

Now, everything made sense. Now I was starting to piece things together.

Naomi suddenly face-pald herself, groaning in frustration. Oh shit. Fuck . Ooh no. Fuckkkk. Her mouth hung open, her hands gripping her face. My mouth! This mouth of mine couldn't just keep shut. Now it has spoken when it wasn't supposed to. Fuck , n! She kept cussing, slapping her own lips nonstop.

It was so funny. Like, I couldn't even hold it in. She was acting like she had just confessed to murder or sothing. It's not that deep. She shouldn't be shy about it; there was nothing to be shy about. It's normal not to be straight. Whatever works for you, you go with it. But Naomi? She was acting like the ground should just swallow her whole.

"I'm so sorry, guys. I didn't an to say those words out loud." Her voice was small now, like she was actually embarrassed. "I just couldn't help it, and I also didn't know when it ca out of my mouth. I tried keeping it in, but it didn't work, and it just ca rushing out."

"Why are you apologizing, Naomi?" I rolled my eyes. "We all know those words just slipped. No one is mad at you. We knew you were a chronic talkative, so it's normal for you to say things without thinking."

She sighed, looking like she wanted to disappear.

But Logan? Logan wasn't laughing. He wasn't even moving. He was just staring.

His eyes were locked onto Naomi, deep, unreadable, like he was looking straight into her soul. And Naomi noticed it too. I could tell from the way she started shifting, fidgeting with her fingers. Who wouldn't feel uncomfortable under that kind of gaze?

Logan's stare was intense. Too intense. Almost like he was seeing sothing in her that no one else could. The silence stretched. It was so awkward that I almost felt the need to step in. Then, finally, after what felt like an eternity, Logan blinked.

"So you aren't straight either? Perfect." He smirked. "Because I knew you must not be straight for you to suspect sothing was going on with . I knew it."

His confidence made roll my eyes. As if. He was just pretending like he had figured it out. But let's be real. This was the sa Logan who got all jealous whenever Naomi was too close to . He wasn't fooling anyone. He had no idea Naomi wasn't straight. He was just acting like he did to save face.

None of my business, though. If they wanted to bond over this, they could go ahead. But I had this weird feeling that Naomi and Logan were about to beco close friends. And ? The third wheel. The side character in their dynamic.

Naomi smiled, nodding. "See? Instinct never lies."

Logan chuckled.

Wait.

Logan laughed?

At Naomi?

The sa Naomi he wanted to get rid of not even thirty minutes ago?

I looked at the both of them, my brain failing to process what just happened.

But just as quickly as it happened, Logan's face switched. One second, he was smiling, and the next—bam—his expression was serious again.

"Now, back to business," he said coldly.

My head spun.

Wasn't he just laughing with Naomi?

How the fuck did he switch up that fast?

"He is a bipolar for sure," I muttered under my breath. No way I was saying that out loud, though. I wasn't trying to die today.

I glanced at Naomi. Her face had gone serious too. She could feel it. The shift in Logan's mood.

Then Logan spoke again. His voice was calm, but there was sothing chilling underneath.

"What you did today... coming to my house, watching what transpired between and my ex..." His eyes darkened. "You didn't just see us talking and decide to excuse yourselves..."

"Instead of minding your business, you both decided it was best to stay and watch the drama unfold. You stood there, watching us throw threats at each other, completely ignoring the concept of privacy. That alone is a cri." Logan's voice was calm.

His eyes flickered toward Naomi, and I swear I saw a spark of amusent before his expression turned cold again. "Just because we're both gay, Naomi, doesn't an I'm going to spare you."

My stomach clenched.

Logan wasn't joking.

He stepped forward slightly, tilting his head. "In fact, I'm not going to spare either of you. I'm going to teach you both a lesson." His lips curled into a smirk. "I love teaching you lessons, Naomi. It makes very happy. And you? You never learn. It's like a cheat code for —I get to teach you a lesson every day because you keep refusing to learn from the last one."

Naomi swallowed. I could see the gears turning in her head as she tried to co up with sothing to say.

Logan didn't give her the chance.

"You ca to my house uninvited. And if that wasn't bad enough, you managed to piss off three different tis in one night. So guess what? You're getting punished three tis." His eyes glead with amusent, but I knew better. This wasn't a joke.

"I might consider letting it slide if you tell exactly why you ca to my house." He crossed his arms. "But if you refuse, we start the punishnt. And it's not going to last a day or two—it's going to last two whole weeks. Even when we go to camp, you'll still be getting punished." His voice dropped slightly. "So, Naomi... Tyler... what brought you both to my house?" His gaze flickered between us. "And don't think this question is just for Naomi. Either one of you can answer."

I opened my mouth to speak, but Naomi, of course, beat to it.

"I'm innocent, Sir Logan!"

I blinked. Did she just call him 'Sir'? Imagine calling your classmate Sir just because you accidentally exposed yourself.

Logan raised an eyebrow. "Go on. You don't expect to free you just because you said you're innocent, right? You need to prove it. Tell why you're innocent... and who the guilty person is."

Naomi nodded eagerly, her hands clasped together like she was pleading a case in court. "So, Sir Logan, I went to Tyler's house, and we started talking, and then we started solving equati—"

"Hold up, hold up!" Logan cut her off imdiately, waving a hand. "I don't need to hear any of that. I'm not interested in whatever unnecessary details you're about to dump on . Just get to the important part—why did you co to my house unannounced, and why did you refuse to leave?"

Naomi blinked, then quickly nodded. "Ohhh, okay! Sir Logan, my apologies for deviating from the topic."

She didn't need to apologize for that. She always deviated. It was literally her thing.

"So after we were done with the extra lessons, Tyler pleaded with to follow him to your place. He said he had sothing important to tell you," she said with a straight face.

I almost choked.

Excuse ???

This lying little devil.

"That's a lie, Naomi!" I snapped. "Why are you lying? You're not just a talkative; you're a chronic liar! I was about to go to sleep when you ca to , telling to drive you here. I even asked you why, and you just brushed it off! I knew it wasn't my business, so I didn't push. But don't stand here and act like it was my idea!"

Naomi just turned to Logan without even defending herself.

I knew exactly what she was doing.

She wasn't going to argue because she knew Logan had already decided we were both guilty.

And I was right.

Logan let out a long sigh, shaking his head. "That's it. I'm not interested in hearing any more of these lies. Neither of you is going to admit who ca up with the idea, so I might as well just punish both of you."

Naomi stiffened.

I groaned.

"We're starting with Naomi," Logan announced, turning to her.

Then he turned to , a smirk playing at his lips.

"And as for you, Tyler..." he said, pointing a finger at . "Your turn is coming. I just want to finish dealing with Naomi first."

I rolled my eyes. Not him acting like so kind of correctional officer.

All this fuss over us entering his house. It wasn't even like we broke in! We knocked! No one answered, so we stepped inside. That's when we got the juiciest gossip of all ti. He needed to quit blaming us—it wasn't like we did it on purpose!

But even though I knew we were in the wrong, I wouldn't dare say it in court. I'd be charged with breaking and entering and thrown straight into jail.

Logan turned back to Naomi, his smirk widening.

"Now, Naomi. First punishnt for today. Oh, my bad—not today. Because I already punished you twice today."

Naomi's eyes widened in horror.

Imagine getting punished over five tis in one day.

Was that not enough?

Wasn't that a sign to change your ways?

Or did Naomi just want to up her ga and get even more punishnts?

I had a feeling I already knew the answer.
