Chapter 111- The Voice I Shouldn't Recognize

Logan's POV

The ride ho from school felt too fast.

Maybe because my mind was focused on one thing—getting ho and telling my dad to do sothing about this stupid trip.

I needed him to fix it.

The second the car rolled to a stop, I jumped out, slamd the door shut, and locked it. I didn't waste any ti fumbling with my keys before pushing the front door open and stepping inside.

Empty.

The whole house was silent.

I frowned. Where is this man?

I checked my watch.

At this ti?

I should have known.

Of course, he wasn't here when I needed him.

He never was.

And he definitely wouldn't be back until late at night—probably when I was already asleep.

I clenched my jaw, frustration bubbling in my chest. Before I could stop myself, I slamd the door shut behind .

The boom echoed through the empty house.

I turned, eyes flickering to the door handle, checking if it still worked.

My anger vanished instantly.

That door was expensive.

I knew exactly how much it cost. If I ssed it up, my dad would never let hear the end of it.

Better safe than sorry.

I exhaled sharply before yelling, "Dad! Dad! Dad!"

Silence.

I waited, listening.

Nothing.

Of course.

I shook my head and stalked toward my room, my steps heavy against the floor.

But then another thought hit .

What about the housekeeper?

Where the fuck is she?

Was she on leave?

If she was, I was supposed to know.

There's no way she was given the day off without soone telling first. When I left this morning, she was still in the kitchen, making breakfast like always.

She didn't look like soone about to take a leave.

So where the hell is she?

I pushed the thought aside and stord into my room.

The second I got in, I threw my bag onto the floor and collapsed onto the bed.

I was so tired.

It felt like my soul was drained out of my body.

And on top of that?

I was starving.

The kind of hunger that made my stomach twist in pain.

I yawned loudly, barely able to hold it back. My whole body scread for sleep, but my stomach?

My stomach was begging for food.

Sleep or food?

Sleep or food?

I groaned.

If I slept without eating, there was a chance I wouldn't wake up.

Better safe than sorry.

Food it is.

I forced myself to sit up, but my body protested. I was so sluggish that I imdiately lay back down.

This was exactly why the housekeeper was useful.

But now?

God knows where she was.

Where the hell did she even go?

And why?

I clenched my jaw in frustration.

Okay, let's assu I went to the kitchen and sohow found nothing to eat.

Then what?

How the hell was I supposed to make sothing for myself?

I didn't even know how to turn on the gas.

I had never stepped foot in the kitchen to cook a single al since I was born.

I wouldn't even know where to start.

But I shouldn't panic yet.

Maybe there was already food in the kitchen.

I just had to go check first before freaking out.

I groaned again and dragged myself off the bed. My feet felt heavy as I forced myself toward the kitchen.

Then—

I heard sothing.

I froze.

My ears perked up, listening.

Or... was I imagining things?

I tried to ignore it, thinking maybe my brain was ssing with .

But then—

I heard it again.

The sound was faint, almost like a whisper, but I heard it.

A soft, breathy moan.

At first, I thought my ears were playing tricks on . But no—this wasn't my imagination.

I knew the sound of moaning when I heard it.

Or rather, the sound of soone moaning.

And it was coming from a woman.

I narrowed my eyes and followed the noise, my footsteps silent as I made my way down the hall. The closer I got, the clearer it beca.

It was coming from the housekeeper's room.

The room she stayed in whenever she spent the night here.

A deep, unsettling feeling crept into my chest.

Do not tell this noise is coming from that little bitch.

Do not tell she actually brought soone into this house to fuck her.

Do not tell any of this is true.

My jaw tightened.

I told her.

I made it very clear.

She was never—and I an never—supposed to sleep with soone else.

She had the audacity to fuck soone in my house?

And then, what? She'd co crawling back to later like she hadn't just been fucked by soone else?

Unbelievable.

I had already planned to fuck the living daylight out of her when I got ho.

And now—I walk in to hear her moaning like a bitch in heat?

I couldn't wrap my head around it.

My anger burned hotter with every second, every step I took toward that door.

She was going to regret this.

I moved fast, my steps silent, creeping toward the door.

I needed to catch her in the act.

She had no idea that what she just did was about to cost her everything.

I reached the door.

No hesitation.

I grabbed the handle and swung it open as fast as I could.

And there it was.

Exactly that I suspected.

She was bent over, getting pounded from behind, moaning like her life depended on it.

They didn't even notice .

They didn't even flinch.

Even though I had practically kicked the door open.

They were too lost in their little world, too caught up in their disgusting, pathetic little act.

The bitch was barking like a dog, as if she hadn't been fucked in years.

I clenched my fists.

I couldn't even see who was giving her backshots because his back was turned to .

But I didn't care.

I took a step forward, my lips curling into a smirk.

"Whooooo doooo we haveeee here?" I drawled, my voice laced with amusent.

Then I chuckled darkly.

"How about I check it out myself?"

Soone was losing their job tonight.

I cleared my throat loudly.

Finally, they noticed .

Well—she did.

The bastard behind her?

He didn't even stop.

He just kept fucking her like I wasn't standing right there.

It was the good-for-nothing housekeeper who jumped off his dick like she had just been caught stealing.

Pathetic.

And then—

"Co on!!! Don't run!!"

"Let's ignore whoever that person is and continue what we're doing."

The voice sent a chill down my spine.

Because it sounded familiar.

Too familiar.

Way too familiar.

"Who let you back into this house again?"
